NY Times: "This is a shocking miscarriage of justice," Senator Byron Dorgan said in a statement. "The Iranian government has held a secret trial, will not make public any evidence, and sentenced an American citizen to eight years in prison for a crime she didn’t commit.

I’m sure the American Justice department is drooling over a chance to do this to conservatives. The Obama administration really has nothing harsh to say to or about the Iranians, I guess this must be why.

This should be a 8 year wake-up call for that young lady. Her parents raised her here to keep her from such tyranny. Now she gets a first hand, up close lesson. Unfair, evil? Absolutely, but what did she expect? Tyrannies seem to be good at imprisoning those under the delusion that free speech exists in those places.

Incidentally, did you folks know Iran controls their banks and auto industry? Gee Whiz they’re just like us.

Whoever this ladies state and federal representatives are should not sleep untill she is free.

They need to pressure the Iranian gov. to release her now or shame them on the world stage with in the most direct and pointed manner.

Evil, darkhearted, spiritually blind men run that country and it should be shouted at the UN so all can hear it.

LOL, as if this administration is going to pressure anyone. Unfortunately, the best hope she has of being released at this time is an Israeli missile hitting the wall of her prison.

She was Miss North Dakota in 1997. She looks like Miss Islamabad now in her photos. PBS weirdo, who thought her Muslim faith would carry the day in Teheran. Good riddance.
