Times Online: As soon as she begins singing I Dream A Dream, from the musical Les Misérables, however, everyone in the auditorium falls silent, before erupting into a standing ovation.

yesterday, I had the wonderful opportunity of
watching Susan Boyle perform on youtube and
innumberable shorts on cable tv. truly, a star
is born whose humility, determination, soul,
and beautiful voice lit up a time of economic
woe, depressing news and unemployment. we
were not only thrilled at her performance which
nearly brought us to tears, but more touched
by her persistence, confidence and honesty. What
a refreshing, brilliant moment she brought to my
heart and soul—Susan you lit up my life, even
for a moment, and I am sure millions more share our thoughts and wishes for your success. Hats off to
you –you are a breath of fresh air and hope for
so many people who dream and wish to attain that
place—”somewhere over the rainbow!!!
please, please televise her next appearance on the British show here in the United States–we
do not want to miss one single performance by this most talented and remarkable woman!!

not a big deal. Not that hard of a song and not that exciting I felt that people where trying to make her feel good about herself, which is nice but she waited too long to show her talent. She needs to find out if she has the talent it takes to be a mother.

She is better than most professionals that I have heard. She deserves EVERY BIT of praise and admiration that she gets. Simply awe inspiring.

That guy you hate   April 23rd, 2009 - 2:27 am

RichW, if you are so easily inspired then I can only imagine how blandly uninteresting you are. While she is no doubt a great singer, she is not so fantastic as to light up anything. You place such grand significance on such insignificance; she will be entirely forgotten with a week, thus making every one of your words ironically full of empty meaning. Admit her as what she is: passing entertainment, to be enjoyed only for as long as it takes to play.
