Frank is such a hypocrite it isn’t funny. He ignored GOP requests for oversight (McCain for one) on Freddy Mac & Fanny Mae. Then this nervy liberal blamed the GOP for the debacle! A fact.

Frank talks about a right-wing attack. What? The main steam news media is so in the tank for the Democrats it isn’t funny or hard to see.

Nice to see that there’s a student who won’t cow down to his rhetoric.

Why so defensive Barney? You old goat…because you were caught with your pants down, but the lib press gave you a pass.

Nice tone of voice by the way. hope you feel good at trying to intimidate a student.

Your gone the next election cycle along with you buddy Dodd anyway. Not soon enough though.

i imagine that student will be asked to leave Harvard after angering one of its more powerful benefactors.

I live in Boston.Frank is always reelected..even after he was caught having a Gay prostitution ring being run in his home in D.C. by his lover who we call “Hot Bottom. The Libs in this state also knew of his huge part in the Sub Prime loan train wreck yet they still voted him back in.
He is a liar…and sexist…a cruel minded man who shows his intolerance anytime he is asked about anything he screwed up as in this video.
He should be in prison for his traitorous actions against our troops in Iraq and Afghanistan and for his part in ruining the economy.
But…as long as the media is in The Messiah’s pockets him and all the criminal Dems and hateful Liberals will get a pass until either we revolt or the country goes down.

A couple more…
Is a hair lip, more, or less advantagous for sucking your boyfriend off?

Have you always looked like a piece of dog sh*t with glasses, or has a lifetime of being a liberal liar(Redundancy) taken its toll?

I’m embarrased for the State of Mass. This old h0m0 is so thin-skinned, that any question that doesn’t j@ck-him-0ff is considered an attack.

Hickok   April 7th, 2009 - 3:45 pm

Bonnie Fwank is an a$$hole, but the kid didn’t ask him the two tough questions.
1. Why did you tell America 2 weeks before they collapsed, that Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac were solvent and good investstments?
2. Do you think it’s a conflict of interest to be porking the 3rd in charge of Fannie Mae in the fanny, or do you just consider it “Business as usual?”

Randy   April 7th, 2009 - 4:09 pm

SUCTION, BARNEY, SUCTION. RINSE KEITH OR BRIAN OR TIMMY OR MARKY OR STEVIE…OR WHOEVER’S RESIDUE YOU HAVE LEFT IN YOUR MOUTH, AND ANSWER THIS DUDE’S QUESTION.

TOOTHLESS CLOWN   April 7th, 2009 - 4:47 pm

HOW can anybody even stand to LISTEN to that digusting creep Barney Frank!?

How DISINGENUOUS is HE?!!? Everyone knows that this so-called SUBPRIME CRISIS has been going on for MANY YEARS–long before anybody decided to “DO” anything about it. All those in power, including Frank & Bush & that ahole Greenspan ALL KNEW EXACTLY WHAT WAS GOING ON AND WHAT WOULD HAPPEN EVENTUALLY, with artificially LOW interest rates and artificially HIGH housing prices and easy loans: THEY KNEW ALL HELL WOULD EVENTUALLY BREAK LOOSE, WHICH IS EXACTLY WHAT DID HAPPEN. THEY KNEW IT, and THEY TOOK STEPS TO PROTECT THEIR OWN ASSES, AND THEY LEFT THE AMERICAN PEOPLE HOLDING THE BAG!

Good for that Harvard Student for having the GUTS to challenge Frank; too bad Frank is such a TOOTHLESS COMEDIAN and cannot even ADMIT his wrongdoings…

BARNEY (LISP PHAG) FRANK   April 7th, 2009 - 7:00 pm

PATHETIC!

WELL DONE TO THE REAL AMERICAN HARVARD STUDENT, BRAVO!

Tim   April 7th, 2009 - 7:34 pm

Rep. Frank is lawyering up and is having his Congressional staff prepare for investigative hearings into Rep. Frank’s involvement and knowledge of the failing Freddie Mac collapse.

The daily Congressional record supports Sen.McCain’s inquiry in 2006 with regard to the solvency and stability of Freddie Mack, which was answered by Rep. Frank as financially sound, on solid footing, and that Freddie Mac should be considered a safe investment.

This issue for Rep. Frank is gaining steam, and may provide reason for his over the top behavior while answering a question from a first year Harvard student.

With the majority of public sentiment negative of Rep. Frank, it may be the perfect storm for his removal from office and the end to his political career.

Hickok   April 7th, 2009 - 9:52 pm

Student…”Congressman Frank, should you not have foreseen the downfall of Fannie Mae as Chairman of The House Finance Committee?”

Bonnie Fwank….”Did you say ‘foreseen’ or foreskin? You seem like a homophobic, self hating Jewish student, not interested in the facts, but more interested in taunting me.”

Student….”I just want to know if you should have foreseen Fannie Mae’s impending collapse, in your position.”

Bonnie Fwank….”‘My position?’” Are you making a reference to my Doggy Style Position when I was porking the Fannie Mae bigshot in the fanny? If so, you’re a Republican homophobe plant, out to smear me.”

Moderator….”Congressman Frank, it was nice of you to take time out of your busy schedule to honor us with your presence here today, and conduct yourself in the dignified manner we are accustomed to.”

[...] Harvard Student takes on Barney Frank Do Listen how defensive Frank is. There is no way this guy should be our US House Financial Services Committee Chairman. I’m just in shock that any college student — let alone from Harvard — labeled himself a conservative. Well done, kid.

How is it possible that Barney Frank is still an elected official?

He is a joke and people in MA need to wake up and smell the roses. This is not his first public disgrace, he has a long record of being a bumbling idiot with no facts to back up his statements.

Reason   April 8th, 2009 - 10:42 am

Wow… this must be a conservative website. The student give an unqualified, nonfactual accusation, Barney defends himself with facts, and the (largely homophobic) comments defend the student?! Broaden your horizons. Try to get your information from non-biased sources.

geedo   April 8th, 2009 - 10:53 am

Frank is correct; this student doesnt know his facts!

Senator Klit Torris   April 8th, 2009 - 12:14 pm

“The student give an unqualified, nonfactual accusation, Barney defends himself with facts.”

Reason,
First, learn some grammar. It would be “The student made”, Einstein. For your addled, libtard brain, the student asked a question. Bonnie Fwank leveled the unqualified and nonfactual accusations at the student. “Barney defends himself with facts?” He did nothing of the sort, and you have to be a Kool Aid drinking libtard to think you heard that on this video. He blamed, obfuscated and pettifogged like a good little lib so often does. Here are some facts…
1. As Chairman of The House Finance Committee, late last year he announced Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac were sound investments, weeks before they collapsed.
2. In 2004, during Congressional hearings he screamed at Republicans who wanted oversight of Faniie Mae, name calling, etc. The CBO, a nonpartisan oversight agency, said at the time there was major accounting trouble with Fannie and Freddy, but he said it was fine, and name called like an offended h0mo.
3. He was porking the second in charge of Fannie Mae in the a$$ for many years, but didn’t think that was a conlict of interest.
And you have the moronic view that the kid was making unfair accusations, and Bonnie Fwank defended himself with facts? I suggest you stick to playing with your fellow second grade friends, and leave these discussions to the big boys….MORON…

Wow, what a bunch of homophobes   April 8th, 2009 - 12:16 pm

The comments on this thread ably demonstrate the lack of intellect and outright homophobia of its readers. You should be ashamed of yourselves.

Comments about the actual content would be respected, but apparently you’re too afraid of evil homo’s and “libruls” to make cogent arguments.

[...] I find it encouraging to see someone who is willing to stand up and ask a tough, pointed question to someone in power. Good job on keeping the concentration and wit about you even while being derided and laughed at as well! From BreitbartTV  [...]

Moose   April 8th, 2009 - 8:13 pm

Not once did Barney Frank mention the House Committee meetings where he and Maxine Waters beat down the critics of Fannie Mae and Freddie Max saying that there was not problems there. In effect the Dems kept the House from further investigating the handling and packaging of the loans that were being made and sold. This accounted for as much as a two year period where something could have been done and was not. At least there are some college students that are avoiding the leftist socialist education in colleges today, well done.

Senator Klit Torris   April 8th, 2009 - 8:35 pm

Wow, What A Bunch,
You probably haven’t been on this site often. We multitask very nicely here. E.g., making the point that Bonnie Fwank fiddled whilst Fannie Mae burned, and at the same time pointing out that he’s a disgusting Rump Ranger. Both are indeed true. And in this case they intersect, as Fwank was porking an executive from Fannie Mae, while acting as the Chairman of The House Finance Committee. Folks here are not “Afraid of h0mos or libruls”, some are just utterly disgusted by them.
Have a nice day.

Azul,
Thanks. Most folks just think I’m good with my 1851 Colt Navy Revolvers, and have no sense of humor. A man can do both, Azul, and still stand for justice. BTW, that fellow, Senator Klit Torris is often right on the money, and his posts have an eery similarity to mine. One last bit of advice, Azul. Stay true to yourself, and stay out of sleazy bars in Deadwood. They’re not good for your longevity.
Best,

It’s hard to imagine how that old queen hasn’t been arrested – or at least dragged before his peers – for crimes against the state. We can, however, still hope. And hope also that Mass. will come to it’s collective senses and boot him in his worn out old butt right out of office. I am proud of that student – maybe he should run for Barneys seat. By the way…the questions remains: does Barney Frank have any teeth? I look and look and never see a single one!

Carolyn   April 9th, 2009 - 3:58 pm

The college student sounded far, far more mature than Miss Frank, sorry, I mean Mr Frank. Barney needs a teleprompter:)
