I would welcome an opportunity to thank him for his service to the country. I’m glad he was well received-he deserves it.

Very high marks for strong defense of the nation.

He showed much grace in ending his service as President, unlike the disgraceful exit Bill Clinton made in January 2001.

Two brilliant Supreme Court appointments after the disaster of Harriet Myers.

W’s lack of spending control will look irrelevant as Obama explodes spending by trillions over the next few years.

I think GW Bush is a good man and tried to a president for all-the-peoples. I think he compromised too much, but he did it based on the fact he felt everyone deserved representation – and not just conservatives.
Compared to our current Messiah in Chief who has this narcissistic rock-star “jones” happening, I’d welcome GW back in a heartbeat.

It’s so nice to see some respect paid to a president that kept us safe. As a democrat, I was not always a fan of President Bush; however the disrespect he has been shown is disgraceful. Also, no one could ever argue the fact that he loves this country; I’m not sure the same can be said of our current President.

ctmom   April 6th, 2009 - 6:07 pm

*sigh* We miss you Mr. President!

Jaimo   April 6th, 2009 - 6:13 pm

I miss him so much. I didn’t always agree with his positions, i.e. amnesty, etc. but when it came to protecting us and having a good heart, he is heads above that f’n moron the illiterates and the people who want to rule over the illiterates voted into office.

Diane   April 6th, 2009 - 6:32 pm

I miss him so much. We took for granted our relative safety under his watch…he couldn’t protect us from every evil…but, somehow, with discernment and wisdom and a great team, we were protected. I have never felt more existential dread than I do right now. I resent the network news and international community which interjected itself into our politics and the utterly vacuous community which voted our current White House tenant in. He is a mockery to all who care for the office and I wish we had GWB back. Sad days…

keith   April 6th, 2009 - 6:35 pm

Bush= the best president ever
Barrack Hussein Obama= the 12th Imam who is hell bent on detroying this country.

Cheryl   April 6th, 2009 - 6:47 pm

I sure miss President Bush! At least we knew that the safety of Americans was top priority! Now we have the nut case for president, who is making us less safe. Wants to get rid of our nukes, scale down our military..Heck you can’t even call a terrorist a terrorist anymore. America, what have we done voting in Obama?? This is going to be the worst 4 years of struggle and suffering that our generation has ever seen. Hope & Change??Yeah he is changing us into Europeans.God Help Us!

America, I too used to appreciate the good things former President Bush and his father did for America.

But I realize now that I was as naive about him as the worshippers of Saul Alinsky Obama are today!

Both Bushes are part of the Bilderburg Society.

They helped create the path that Saul Alinsky Obama now walks. They started the work to take over banks and private industry and Saul Alinsky Obama was handpicked to complete the task.

If you have not seen this video, you must.

=========================
A SUMMARY…
=========================

This expose’ details the reality of a secret group of very rich, very elite individuals around the world called the Bilderburg Society. Henry Kissinger, both the Bushes, Rockefeller, both Clintons, etc are some of the members.

It proves how Obama was chosen to be their puppet and was elevated to the position he is in with their help. It uses actual news footage, investigations into the group, and commentary by several experts in the field, etc.

It tells their mission to take down the banks and bankrupt the economy in America. What they are planning for our military, etc.

You will be amazed at what is going on in America and the world. I believe it totally…and you will too after viewing it.

Please watch it…and then if you think it is as valuable in information as I have found, share it with family and friends, as I have.

AMERICA YOU MUST WATCH THIS VIDEO>>>>>>>>>

IT IS LONG, BUT YOU WILL GO AWAY WITH A NEW AWAKENING AT WHERE WE ARE IN OUR COUNTRY AND WHAT WE CAN DO TO STOP THE MADNESS!
PLEASE…PLEASE VIEW THIS VIDEO IN IT’S ENTIRETY…AND PRAY FOR AMERICA!

yes Bush is a much more intelligent and class act compared to our highly-educated no-class Prez…we all know of this Al-Monsour guy who got Obama into Harvard and I am sooooo sick of his as-k—– to other countries apoligizing for this and that and thinking he speaks for all of us..that line he told the CEO’s “the only thing between u and the “pitchforks” is me and my administration is so thuggish…Thugthistle????
yes O and the lefties will be suprise when the “pitchforks” head to Washington..how long do they think people will stay stupid????

@Sherry

Wow, a sane democrat. So rare, I hardly believed it, when I saw your post.

Presently, Obama has not commended himself well. He’s apologized to Europe for American arrogance, told Islam–I’m okay, your okay–and didn’t know Austrians speak German.

I just cannot figure how democrat voters could think that the most radical leftist member of the senate with ties to some of the most despicable leftist radicals in the country could govern any differently than he is. McCain was no bag of candy, but he’d of been the better choice. I’m sure there will be many chastised voters next time around. Here’s to one term that will remind America just why liberalism is a bad idea.

Now there’s a real president for you. Not like the pseudo empty suit playing house at the White House right now.

Thank you, President George W. Bush, you are a classy man. You never failed to stand by us, even when we totally abandoned you.

I miss our real president.

Nice to see Bush can still throw a decent pitch. He didn’t bounce it in the dirt like John Kerry did.

Obama probably couldn’t get the ball to roll past the plate in one throw.

Bush knows how to throw a baseball because, well, it’s an American sport.
What would Obama do with a baseball? Kick it like a soccer ball, apologize to the International soccer committee for American’s using the wrong size ball all of these years, blame the previous administration (Bush), tell everyone what strong leadership he portrayed in converting Americans from baseball to soccer, bow to the king of Saud, and go home and smack Michelle on that big a$$ of hers.
