I take offense to the term that is used for children that are retarded, “special”.

What the heck is special about a retarded child? Do people want retarded, I mean special children? Does a couple say, “Doctor, tell us, is our child a boy or a girl and please tell us our child is retarded.” No, I don’t think that happens.

Chances are a retarded child will do nothing but drag a family down. In the days before welfare, programs for special needs children and laws created by mentally deficient nutjobs like Eileen for Freedom/Liberty, retarded babies would be killed and then mourned.

I’m not saying that’s a nice thing to do but I am saying that’s the smart thing to do if you value your own life and the rest of your normal family.

Calling a retarded child special is nothing short of a delusion to make yourself feel better for creating a deficient drag on your family.
