The mother of the girl talks about the notorious video of her daughter and explains that the seemingly drug-induced behavior actually came from the girl watching the horror movie "Grudge 2."

What a load. If you hear the girls talking to the little girl, they say about her, “It’s her fault, she wanted to try it!” clearly meaning X.

G Bev   July 13th, 2007 - 7:04 am

Oh, I see, Mom. So we’re supposed to praise you for “not” giving her X, and give you a pass for letting her watch a graphic horror movie. I guess you’re a good parent after all.

Bruce   July 13th, 2007 - 7:24 am

Funny how this insipid “news” show doesn’t even question the propriety of letting a little girl watch a horror movie. The mom should be jailed for that alone.

T Nick   July 13th, 2007 - 7:59 am

Now, now, people. You’re being much too harsh. After all the mother is now a member of an official “protected class” and you can not challenge them or you will be called bigoted, racists and not multi-culturally sensitive. The reporter used the rationalization that the question of letting a 2 year old see a violent horror movie and not using a car seat regardless of vehicle capacity were not central to the story.

Mommy gave her side of the story and that’s all that was needed.

Was the child tested for drugs? Was the mom tested for drugs? Was the father (if known) tested for drugs? Was the vehicle tested for drugs? Was the mother tested for having any brains or is she just a breeder?

Ann in Maryland   July 13th, 2007 - 11:52 am

There are mean people everywhere.

Hopefully, they get just rewards.

Brenda   July 13th, 2007 - 2:47 pm

THE MOTHER IS SOOOOO UNFIT!!! WHY DID THEY MENTION HER DOING THE X IN THE VIDEO, AND WHY DID THEY KEEP FLASHING THE BRIGHT COLORED IPOD ( A COMMON THING TO DO WHILE SOMEONE IS TRIPPING) IN FRONT OF THE LITTLE GIRLS EYES. IF SHE STILL HAS THAT LITTLE GIRL, SHAME ON THE STATE FOR NOT TAKING HER!!!!! I DON’T CARE IF SHE IS BLACK, WHITE, YELLOW OR OLIVE, THIS IS NOT RIGHT AND SHE NEEDS TO HAVE THAT LITTLE CHILD TAKEN AWAY!!

christy   July 13th, 2007 - 2:50 pm

ok i dont see the diff in giving it or pretending you gave it. in the sense that the mother was wrong for even pretending to. as for the horror movies, give me a break. my children watch horror movies and so did i as a little kid. i love horror movies and so do my kids. they know its not real. that doesnt make her a bad mom. what makes her a bad mom is riding around with no car seats and pretending her child was on drugs and having the child pretend as well.

JOJO   July 13th, 2007 - 2:59 pm

another GENIUS from south of the border…..my daughter dont DOOZE drugs….please, someone, put this family out of its misery, and send them off somewhere, south of the border where they belong. future of America, people. Lord, help us all…..

Maria   July 13th, 2007 - 3:02 pm

Why is this child riding on the floor of this car? Isn’t she supposed to be in a car seat? Why is the mother allowing people to manhandle her child’s face.
There is so much wrong in this video and then to add drugs to the mix.

John   July 13th, 2007 - 3:18 pm

The issue is not whether or not the drugs were real, the issue is an unfit parent clearly too immature and irresponsible to raise a child. 1) The child was not in a car seat but was on the floor of the car while 2) They either gave her drugs or JOKED about giving her drugs in front of her and 3) If it IS about the movie Grudge 2, why did the mother let her see that film and why were they not joking about that?
Test this woman for drugs. Take her in on charges of child neglect for the car seat issue, and have her evaluated.

James   July 13th, 2007 - 3:33 pm

Definitely a bad mother: Everyone knows the sequels are never as good as the first

Jan York   July 13th, 2007 - 3:54 pm

First, they have it on tape, not one two children under age not in car seat – with vechile in obvious forward motion. In Texas, both Moving Violations – with attached Child Endangerment charges- that is court time in Family Court. And in all logical conclusions should have some serious consequences…but this is Texas. The soft hearted “family oriented” – code word for elected liberal – judges would give opportunity after opportunity to this poor underpriveleged mother until we read that the child is found three days after ingesting a lethal dose of X and no one knows what happened. The movie wouldn’t even be a consideration…after all that is parental prevaledge. And we wonder what the world is coming to?

Preston   July 13th, 2007 - 3:59 pm

Ive seen that look many times, the girl is tripping balls.

mark   July 13th, 2007 - 4:03 pm

police state bull. always trying to find a way to jail people, even without evidence

10ticals   July 13th, 2007 - 4:12 pm

x will not kill you. x will not kill a 2 year old. the child is in a minitank patroling the webs of the terrorverse. the x is the least of her problems. but whats worse is that its the most of your problems.

erik   July 13th, 2007 - 4:14 pm

Wow, children should be taken away – “mother” (call her that for sake of understanding who I am talking about) deported.

10ticals   July 13th, 2007 - 4:14 pm

and the ld 50 of mdma is safer than the ld 50 of caffeine or alcohol

beverly   July 13th, 2007 - 4:15 pm

great. another uneducated breeder. can’t speak properly, can’t raise her children properly,
probably receiving assistance from U.S. taxpayers
yet has an ipod and partying down with fellow morons all packed in a vehicle making the child
sit on the floor. is this our future???

Andrew   July 13th, 2007 - 4:16 pm

Sounds like a court-ordered sterilization in is order for this breeder. She needs to have her children placed in other homes, a good 2-3 years in an English class and daily biatch-slaps everyday for the same period.

Harris county DA had better step up to the plate here. TX DPS should be revoking the drivers license of whomever was driving that breedermobile.

Unfortunately, this story is played out all over Houston every day. The entire town makes me want to puke every time I’m required to be there. Absolutely the “armpit, crotch and between the toes” of Texas.

10ticals   July 13th, 2007 - 4:18 pm

in any tribal culture the taking of entheomedical compounds is completely natural. your children are high on sugar and caffeine atm. go get the knives out of their hands.

Maikafer   July 13th, 2007 - 4:20 pm

mkay… so if it isn’t drugs-( yeah right) that makes it ok for a two year old to watch an R movie? What are you thinking people?

10ticals   July 13th, 2007 - 4:21 pm

yes it does

Preston   July 13th, 2007 - 4:21 pm

10ticals…caffeine doesnt give you massive long term brain damage

10ticals   July 13th, 2007 - 4:22 pm

who cares on what movies you watch. are you really that protective of your childish memetic constructs.

10ticals   July 13th, 2007 - 4:26 pm

caffeine destroys your digestive system causing many people to become obese. it also puts un-needed stress and tension on your heart. also it causes dilerium and a confusion of thoughts. prolongued use of caffeine causes longterm confusion.

10ticals   July 13th, 2007 - 4:29 pm

mdma is linked to curing long term neurosis not causing it

Norman619   July 13th, 2007 - 4:31 pm

Jailed for letting her watch a horror movie? LOL!!! That’s too funny. You people need to STFU when it comes to stuff like that. It’s really none of your f’ing business if other parents let their kids watch horror movies or not. When I was small my parents let me and my brother and sisters watch horror movies at a very young age. Guess what? It didn’t hurt us. We all grew up to be well adjusted adults. LOL!!! We knew it was not real. Imagine that? Teaching your kids to know the difference between reality and fantasy. Makeing sure your kids know right from wrong. It’s called doing your job as a parent. God how I hate busybodies.

Anyway, I have to call BS on this lady. If you watched the video they pretty much admit to giving this little girl something they shouldn’t have. Can they test the girl’s hair for traces of drugs?

Dave   July 13th, 2007 - 4:32 pm

For all of the angry, hateful amateur eugenicists that post here demanding the child be abducted by government gods in uniforms with guns because you geniuses have concluded she is an “unfit” mother, I can only say this: your children will be stolen by the government for doing far less than either faking or actually drugging your child. Government minions salivate over the prospect of abducting your children for any reason, even made up ones. They crave your children and their wet dream is wrecking your lives. Countless thousands of children have been abducted for far less “infractions”. So think carefully about what innocent things you’ve done with your children that could be easily taken entirely out of context by people as dumb as you are, if they ever ended up being widely reported. Try thinking for a change. Try cleaning up your own houses you scum, before demanding the forced steralization, deportation, and child abduction! DAMN YOU! YOU MINDLESS SCUM HAVE KILLED THE USA!

Think about how pathetic your judgemental vicarious power trip is you burnt out TV-addled losers, you gullible, perpetually-conned saps! INTROSPECTION, give it a shot some time. Turn the TV off (internet or otherwise).

Your child once abducted will then probably be raped by the pervert guilds that generally run CPS agencies. Not only raped, but drugged as well. Oh, but of course the “legal” drugs are so much more healthful than X, right? You poor, pitiful, hopeless fools. The ability to critically think has been bred out of you, hasn’t it? You think you have the right to tell other people what to do. YOU’RE PARASITES.

You pathetic miscreants that watch a few videos and then instantly demand that everyone in the family should have their life ruined. You scum. You rotten, failed humans. You neo-Nazi pigs. Yes, you are neo-Nazis, not because you’re against the illegal immigration invasion and neo-Aztec cult takeover of the southwest, but because you favor eugenics and hierarchical collectivism. Even if the mother did give her child x and didn’t put her child in a car seat and did film it and post it on the internet, nobody has the right to interfere. Do you know why? Because that is HER child! I bet you same freaks support abortion. You hypocrites!

If someone is initiating aggression against you personally, you have the right of self defense. You do not have the right to interfere with anyone else’s life. I don’t care how many episodes of Law and Order you watched where children were stolen from “bad” parents. Guzzling beer and watching television does not qualify or empower you for anything. You don’t have the right. Look that word “right” up in a 200 year old dictionary and it will show you how far from reality you have descended in this tyrannical empire of delusional morons and maniacal experts and inbred elite families looting and murdering and raping the globe.

mdma leaves the body early within a couple days. the only compounds that stay in the body for extended periods of time are oil based like with thc

10ticals   July 13th, 2007 - 4:35 pm

but when you have her testing the hair.. why not put her on the rack and squeeze out the truth. thats what you barbarians did in the 13th and 14th centuries.

Dave   July 13th, 2007 - 4:39 pm

If the mother were violating the child’s rights, that would be one thing. That would be a local issue for the justice of the peace (which have been abolished in favor of the gods in uniforms, aka LAW ENFORCERS). So the entire system as it stands is rotten to the core, and you punks that sit around all day watching videos and making your glib comments about steralization and child abduction and all the rest of your crap–sitting there drooling with stains all over your clothes–YOU, all of you, are part of that rotten system. YOU are the cancer in the body politic that must be purged.

10ticals   July 13th, 2007 - 4:43 pm

rofl.. namaste everyone

Norman619   July 13th, 2007 - 4:59 pm

If ever someone was in dire need of a blunt it’s Dave. My god man you need to calm the hell down.

Eddie   July 13th, 2007 - 5:07 pm

Saw the full video with no commentary from the news team. http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=b7c_1183762084 After listening to the girls comments there is no doubt that they gave this kid Ecstasy. The language used to describe her “trip” leads to no other conclusion. Grudge 2 my caboose! She was on a drug induced trip!

johnk   July 13th, 2007 - 5:08 pm

“Drugs are drugs and everybody dooos them”. That kid was under the influence of something. She lives in a housing project but has an SUV with leather seats, an ipod, a video recorder, and on vacation to Padre Island. I wonder who finances all of that?

This kid ought to be taken away – drugs and horror flicks, the state is likely paying for her anyway, put her in a good foster home and arrest the parents.

Michele   July 13th, 2007 - 5:26 pm

I think the government should follow all of you around with a camera and see how many times you “f” up and then swoop in and save your kids from YOU.

If there was any chance this kid was trippin’ she WOULD have been taken away. But when did watching a scary movie a crime? America decided long ago that your values aren’t necessarily MY values. America decided “anything goes”…”as long as it feels good, do it”

Ya reap what you sow.

M hALL   July 13th, 2007 - 5:37 pm

I hardly have the time to respond to but if I did have lots of time I still wouldn’t jump on this bandwagon of holier than thou whiners.

The ultimate depravity of our anything-for-a-buck media was her last grab at straws about the child on the floor.

I was fully prepared for an attack on the way the little girl was dressed or possibly even a complaint about her hair being slightly messed.

We as a society have lost grip on reality. This whole story is a disappointment.

Freedom of press doesn’t mean freedom from press unfortunately.

Jeremy   July 13th, 2007 - 5:39 pm

Wonder where these little girls will be fifteen years from now…My guess is barefoot and pregnant. How can we expect anything less when we see the parenting skills or lack there of in her their upbringing.

dina   July 13th, 2007 - 5:51 pm

This woman is an unfit human let alone mother
take all her kids away and FIX HER like a pet since she is not capable of making motherly decisions for her children. I was crying when I saw that child tripping out and the fact that the mother would roll video on it shows you what this society is coming to-everyone wants a reality show at their own kids expense!
BIG BROTHER NEEDS TO STEP IN ON THIS B**TCH AND TAKE THOSE KIDS AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

h   July 13th, 2007 - 5:59 pm

Hey 10ticals – You are almost right about the effects of PUDE MDMA – however, most low-income people get X – which isn’t pure MDMA – and besides, MDMA was not found to cure neurosis, but to aid psychiatrists in the 50-’s 70’s – mostly in group/family therapy….

…..I can’t believe you’re trying to defend the use of MDMA on a kid though – you get older, take whatever you want….but NEVER give a child ANYTHING!!! especially when that child is already handicapped with a mongloid for a mother…..

and DAVE, “YOU are the cancer in the body politic that must be purged.” – - sure, observations of bad behaviour are the problem, sure. You’re a moron.

10ticals   July 13th, 2007 - 6:19 pm

‘MDMA was not found to cure neurosis, but to aid psychiatrists in the 50-’s 70’s’
-psychiatry was formed to cure neurosis and was in fact as i said a link to cure neurosis not found
‘I can’t believe you’re trying to defend the use of MDMA on a kid though – you get older, take whatever you want….but NEVER give a child ANYTHING!!!’
-high circuit chemicals don’t hurt the human body or mind under normal situations. they are links to our subconscious and our spirit. mdma is not the safest entheopharmocological substance but it is not anywhere near the top 10 dangerous chemicals to enter a childs body. babies have been given small amounts of dmt on their gums since birth in several south american cultures. obviously this story comes from the child like attitude toward entheo-chemicals. hopefully you can concentrate on the true issue of safety vs tyranny and realize everything will be ok.

James   July 13th, 2007 - 7:54 pm

Everything is fine; they were listening to a Christian Radio station.

James   July 13th, 2007 - 7:57 pm

Analysis shows that many pills that are sold as XTC pills are really not XTC at all. They don’t contain MDMA, but for instance speed, MDEA or other substances with even bigger risks. And also the dose is often very different. MDEA has a more boosting effect than a hallucinogenic effect, and has a shorter duration: 3-5 hours and therefore looks more like speed. A user looking for a hallucinogenic effect is tempted more easily to take a second or even a third MDEA pill, and thus is taking a great risk. A person who uses XTC or any other stimulant experiences no fatigue, and can dance for hours. When it is hot and humid and the user doesn’t drink enough water or soft drinks, the body can get overheated and dehydrate, resulting in failure of certain muscles and organs such as kidneys. Overheating is extremely dangerous and difficult to treat; a risk that can be reduced by enough ventilation and cooling in clubs and discos. XTC users turn out to be more sensitive to flu, cold and laryngitis; female users are more susceptible to bladder infection or infections of the urinary tract. Long-term use can cause depression, fear, panic reactions, sleeping problems and impotence.

People with asthma, a weak heart, high blood pressure, diabetes or epilepsy should definitely not use XTC. It can intensify depression, panic attacks and psychosis. XTC combined with other substances like alcohol and medicines is very risky. It makes the user overconfident and it can affect the ability of co-ordination. Therefore, it can be very dangerous in traffic.

Last, but not least, XTC is a fairly new product and the long-term risks are not yet known.
