Are ‘Misleading’ Lyrics in Britney’s New Song Secretly Obscene?

AP: Can listening to sexually aggressive lyrics prompt teenagers to have sex at an earlier age? That's the issue raised by a new study, and it could unleash a fierce debate over whether a teen's music player is potentially risky and -- if so -- what should or can be done about it.

Of course they are deliberately obscene. As is the entire pop-culture of the arts & entertainment industry. It sells… it always has with pubescent children. The problem is… they stay children much longer than ever before.

In this new era of the “hook up” mentality, you aren’t going to be able to change it. It will have to die a natural death through hyper-saturation, and sexual atrophy, or undergo an epiphany of thought among coming generations. I’m not optimistic in that regard. There is no one to teach them a better way.

More conservative fascist morality police on patrol. As if kids don’t aren’t already getting educated by their catholic priests.

More censorship, good ol-republicans.

Smegolicious, You are a disgusting pig.

I was not calling for censorship (that is a liberal ploy), it’s just the opposite, you twit. I was conceding that the decadence is not going to change, due to the weakness of our perverse society.

Children are born animals. Intelligent adults are supposed to parent them to a responsible, productive adulthood. As a typical twisted liberal, you condemn the catholic church for it’s few pervert priests, while also condemning “good ol-republican” censorship. From this idiotic thinking I deduce you are all for the “free love” mindset. That being true, how can you condemn the perverts out there? You are one of them.

They are just firguring that out NOW? Seriously? That song has been out for a WHILE.

And to the genius who called it “good ol-republican” censorship, I’m a republican, and I don’t think it needs to be censored. Lots of kids sing along to things without really realizing what they mean, and since they’ll see the title as If U Seek Amy, and the rest of the song is about “Amy,” they might not get it. Making a big fuss over it however, will make them get it. Hence Enzo’s saying it will have to die a natural death, we can’t just make it go away.
