I notice that you denounce the “demonization” of all religions. I assume that you include Islam in that list and that those who demonize it are also worthy of criticism.

Hitler was also involved in rocket development and jet powered fighter planes. That did not keep us from developing the best jet fighter planes in the world and some of the best rockets too, both with the help of ex-nazis.
I look forward to the day when people with degenerative genetic diseases like dwarfism, diabetes, etc are not allowed to bring children into the world with the same problems.
The problem may be self correcting as the health care systems collapse under the weight of increased population and start a government mandated triage program to save only those with the greatest chances of survival.
That will be our future if we don’t head it off soon.
