“What kind of gun does he have?” Wow. I know there is a reason the dispatcher asked that question seconds after the first shot was fired. However, this audio is a chilling example of a citizen trying to protect his family in a proper way and suddenly being scrutinized by the state. When that shot was fired, the homeowner became a threat. I can’t sort this out.

Thank goodness this citizen had a weapon to protect his family. Stop ridiculous Gun Control efforts so the next potential victim can protect himself and family too. Good work buddy!

i say bravo. if it happened more maybe they would think twice about attacking or robbing.

i hope it that ever happens to me that i don’t get an idiot 911 dispatcher like the fool with all the b.s. questions, just send the cops over the moment he heard there was a break in. might have saved the poor homeowner a bullet and having to live with the thought of having shot some moron.
