Obama Sends ‘Hard Choices’ Budget To Congress

President Barack Obama is sending Congress a budget that would boost taxes on the wealthy and slash Medicare to make way for a $634 billion down payment on universal health care. Obama's first budget predicts the deficit for this year will soar to a whopping $1.75 trillion.

Amazing!! America the so called richest country in the world not even rank in the top 2 in offering it CITIZENS the best quality of LIFE.

And you can chalk that up to

Poor healthcare..where the insurance companies benefits and NOT the citizen.
Those country that outrank America do have UNIVERSAL healthcare and it seems to work just fine for its citizens.

And for the detractors.. if Universal Healthcare didn’t work for these Countries dont you think its CITIZENS would RIOT and act up for it to change.

America is NOW catching up to 21 century type policies ,Too bad we had to waste 8 yers in doing so

Education : Well where do i begin, OUTDATED crumbling buildings and lack
of quality teachers.. because it doesn’t PAY well And also lack of learning supplies for the classroom.

Also NOT much of Social programs and SAFETY NETS that put citizens in a position to live a quality life they deserve.

POVERTY BREEDS CRIME.

Those Countries that outrank America have a LOW crime rate.. because they provide the safety nets for its citizens, And that prevent many desperate people from going out and doing desperate things to survive.

e.g A mother going out and shoplifting diapers and food for her kids.

Afterall the past 8 years was everyman for himself under president Bush, unless if you were a billionare company that needed a handout or rich.

Slash medicare to make way for “universal” healthcare? Nobody approved “universal” healthcare.

America pickup on this one. Call/email your Senators and tell them no “universal” healthcare.

Saul Alinsky Obama is trying to slide in under the radar his “universal” healthcare. There has been no discussion and/or approval of any such thing.

America…wake up and read between the lines of whatever this man says!

He thinks because he put in the verbiage “tax the wealthy”…that will be key to the middle class that it’s okay because we “all” want to tax the wealthy and if we do, anything else that goes along with it (like Universal healthcare) will be okay.

Don’t fall for it America…call/email your representatives.

Especially, you Democrats who are just as fed up as the rest of us. You have to control your representatives…we all do!

Please help…do it now…too much is sliding in under the radar like this!

America…we cannot give up on the birth certificate it means more than we know. I received this post earlier in another spot and wanted to post it for all of you because you are a part of this effort. My original post was about the (2) active duty soldiers who are questioning the validity of the President’s birth.

The article posted on World Net Daily on 2/26/09.

As a person that can’t speak out at the time due to my oath. I’m sure you will understand. I thank you for what you are doing. We are watching that petition every day. Keep it up and you will see true defenders of our Constitution take action. Stop now and we will be crucified before we get moving. We need your help to get the momentum rolling on this issue or we will not see resolution until its to late. When there is enough momentum to succeed you will have your resolution. Stop short and you’ll be squashed.

Article II Section one:

No person except a natural born citizen, or a citizen of the United States, at the time of the adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the office of President; neither shall any person be eligible to that office who shall not have attained to the age of thirty five years, and been fourteen Years a resident within the United States.

Good luck and God bless America.

Dear Sean…are you kidding? You aren’t serious are you?

Do you live in America? Do you realize that we have the very “best” healthcare in the world?

Do you realize that Canadians come here for alot of their medical care that they can’t get in Canada?

Do a little more research and get back to us with more propaganda.

JUST ANOTHER DAY IN THE SOCIALIST “REIGN OF BARRY HUSSEIN” AND HIS AGENDA TO TAKE US INTO UNIVERSAL HEALTHCARE WHEN WE ALREADY HAVE THE BEST THERE IS!

@ sean: none of those countries has a population as high as does the U.S.A.

Your list:

Countries with the Highest Quality of Life

1 Norway
2 Sweden
3 Canada
4 Belgium
5 Australia
6 United States
7 Iceland
8 Netherlands
9 Japan
10 Finland
11 Switzerland
12 France
13 UK
14 Denmark
15 Austria

Among those nations, look at the immense differences of POPULATION SIZE between the U.S.A. and the rest…much, much higher population in the U.S.A.

Nations with smaller populations can enjoy better circumstances because there are not as many of any one person — a large population as the U.S.A. has also has more of every type of person, to state the obvious.

IN HUMAN POPULATIONS EVERYWHERE, there are “more stupid people than smart ones,” “more poor people than wealthy ones,” “more short people than tall ones,” “more dark haired, dark-eyed persons than blondes with blue eyes,” more people who don’t go to college than do go, etc.

The point is, even among smaller populations, “average” is still average and excellence is still excellence, etc. Throw in many millions of humans in one nation and you get more of the lower mean and less of the higher mean multiplied many times over.

The U.S. can’t be compared to these smaller nations with “higher standards of living” just because there’s little comparison with conditions from the U.S. to those — AMONG THEM, IMPORTANTLY, THAT THE U.S. PAYS FOR THE MILITARY DEFENSE OF MANY OF THOSE NATIONS (Japan and Canada, for starters).

Yet with all our handicaps, it’s still the U.S.A. that Japan, Canada, Israel, Mexico, many other nations, continue to rely on for “defense” and security and we still list way up on that group as having a high standard of living. The U.S.A. is a generous, brave and capable nation because we’re a Capitalist economy (or were) and up to now (before the Obama fiasco) also a highly motivated one as to individual options and freedoms.

If the U.S.A. had Sweden’s (or even Canada’s) population size, we’d be rolling in fields of clover.

America…we need to keep on top of Congress. We need to call/email them on a continual basis to let them know how we feel about all this spending…it has to stop and stop NOW!

Please…America…only “we” can do this. Saul Alinsky Obama lied again when he said only government can do this…tell them no…government has done enough to get us into this mess and they are creating an even bigger mess in trying to get us out.

Here is a great site that will give you all the House and Senate telephone and email numbers. You can bookmark it for your personal daily reference.
