Brazilian Carnival Queen Uses 1.6-Inches of Tape to Avoid Total Nudity Rule During Samba Parade

AP: The Carnival beauty famed for proving it's possible to get too naked for Brazil's samba parades is looking for the spotlight again—by painting her body with an image of President Barack Obama. WARNING: This clip (in Spanish) from last year's parade contains graphic content. NOTE: This report from last year is in Spanish.

I wanted to bust y’all for saying that the clip is in Spanish, but Eric beat me to it. I’ll do it anyway:

What the hell kind of world do you live in that they speak Spanish in Brazil?

I’m an American living in Brasil, and I can confirm that they speak Portuguese (because, of course, the nation was populated by settlers from Portugal). They also spell their country’s name Brasil. (And Austria and Australia are two separate countries.)

Brasilians pretty much feel the same way about Obama as do Americans: the poor people like him, and most of those who work for a living think he’s a con-man.

Nossa, Nossa, Brasil nao fala espanhol, se falam portugues.

My Gosh, Brasil does not speak Spanish, they speak Portuguese. We dont like it when folks say we speak Spanish, Portuguese is such a sweeter language.
