Saul Alinsky Obama needs to keep his hands off our freedoms and liberties.

He is barking up the wrong tree in trying to squelch the opposition to his march to socialism.

This is America…we have a great heritage of freedoms and liberties…maybe he hasn’t been in the country long enough to know that!

Do they teach the Constitution in Indonesia or Kenya?

JUST ANOTHER DAY IN THE SOCIALIST “REIGN OF BARRY HUSSEIN”

Tubby   February 16th, 2009 - 6:59 pm

The true colors of the libtard leftwing useful idiots are starting to surface.

Bill Press has got to be one of the all time pin head lefty weenies. I don’t think I’ve ever heard him come up with an original thought.

Leftwing radio stinks because it blames the USA and normal Christian heterosexual patriots for all the worlds problems and that kind of talk radio just becomes tiresome for most of us after about 2 mins.

I’m all for free speech and so are my conservative friends, so why isnt the left for free speech huh?

LK   February 16th, 2009 - 7:02 pm

GRRRRRRRRRRRR-8!

That means there’ll be a counterbalance to the exclusive, tightly held, liberal media conspiracy that includes NBC, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, CNN, PBS, NPR, NY Times, Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, Chicago Tribune (et al) and most colleges!

No Free Market? We’re with ya Bill, but let’s go all out and include it all!

Azul Del Fuego   February 16th, 2009 - 7:03 pm

Any one of us….let me be more clear…ANY ONE OF US can apply for a broadcast license and if we have the funds, we can build a radio station, get AM spectrum, and start to broadcast. We can play any type of music we want, we can broadcast religious programming, we can broadcast in any language we want, and we can say whatever we want without using foul language. Drive through any sourthern rural area and you’ll hear black Christian radio during the daylight hours. So Bill Press is probably frustrated that a feminine liberal loser like himself is having a tough time generating an audience for his message. That’s right! No one wants to hear him. They rather hear black Christian radio, spanish radio, hip hop, oldies….anything but the weak message he decides to puke up every day on his no-ratings show. Look, liberals have broadcast TV, NPR, most of the print media, college campuses, most of the channels on cable (except Fix kicks their a$$…ha ha!) and now they are demanding AM radio, too? They have congress, the senate, and the whitehouse. Why do they want am radio? Answer: because they think they can.
Maybe the liberals own stock in satellite radio and expect it to take off once the control AM radio content.

WHINEY-HINEY LIBTARDS   February 16th, 2009 - 7:24 pm

Don’t usually like Megan with all her click-clacking speech impediment stuff that gets in the way, but she’s “right on” in this video! Bill Press is your typical WHINEY-HINEY LIBTARD demanding “equal time” because he doesn’t like what more Conservative Talk-Shows are saying. ISN’T THAT TOO BAD!!

And by the way, “Progressive” is just a euphemism for LIBTARD PROPAGANDA BU!!SH!T!

Let the *FREE MARKET DICTATE* what goes on the air…

Larse   February 16th, 2009 - 7:28 pm

Maybe, it is just finally time, to throw that old AM radio away…

Maybe, it is just finally time, to throw that old AM radio away…

LArse> EVEN IF WE DID GET RID OF AM RADIO.
WE Could still put it on FM,AND still out perform the left.
THe left in fact has NBC,ABC,CBS,MSNBC,NPR,PBS,THE NEW YORK TIMES , OTHER NEWSPAPERS,THEY CONTROL Universties, NEWS magazines,
so we have AM TALK Radio.
YOU SOUND LIKE STALIN,HITLER,MAO,
SO WHAT IS YOUR BEEF . GET OVER IT .
IT IS FREE SPEECH.

Hickok   February 16th, 2009 - 8:50 pm

This fairy, Press, looks like all male liberals. That is, he looks like a penis in need of a circumcision. Women have a built in excuse. That being estrogen. It screws up rationality, reason and clear thinking. Men who are uber liberals wish to be seen as “Compassionate, thoughtful and caring. In reality, they look and act like women with an excessive estrogen problem.

Dayum Right   February 16th, 2009 - 8:59 pm

FNA Right! While were at it let’s apply the fairness doctrine to TV and Print Media. We could head up a Media Czar who would make sure that everything that gets printed or spoken on TV or over the radio is fair and in accordance with Obama’s policies and philosophy.

This sounds like a great idea. In fact we have precedence. It worked in Nazi Germany, Cuba, The USSR and China. What more evidence do you need that the first amendment is overrated and too broad.

Hold on to the second amendment folks. That is the ONLY Thing protecting the first.

Kenny C   February 16th, 2009 - 9:04 pm

I like AM Radio because there’s no libs to put up with like you have in the declining newspapers. And forget Television the libs have a strangle hold on that….fairness….put more conservative programs on TV and more balanced reporting in the newspaper I canceled.

Air American was the liberal-funded attempted to push their views into the free-market AM airwaves. The problem was no body wanted to hear liberal radio – it failed. The free market worked exactly at it should have.

Hickok   February 16th, 2009 - 10:52 pm

Golly gosh, Breitbart folks, I guess I’m a mean person. I shall repent immediately.

Hickok   February 16th, 2009 - 10:58 pm

You cannot be a man and call yourself a liberal. You automatically waive that right. A man who is a liberal, is in reality a hermaphrodite, or has had a sex change.

MARKET DRIVEN   February 16th, 2009 - 11:01 pm

IF AMERICANS WANTED TO LISTEN TO LIBERAL BS, THE LIBERAL TALKSHOW HOST WOULD BE THRIVING AND SUCCESSFUL JUST LIKE THE CONSERVATIVE, INDEPENDENT RADIO TALK SHOWS ARE.

AMERICANS DON’T CARE TO LISTEN TO LIBERAL BS, THEREFORE, THE FAIRNESS DOCTRINE NEEDS TO BE PUT INTO PLAY BECAUSE THE LIBERALS CAN’T COMPETE HEAD TO HEAD, PERIOD!

Larse   February 16th, 2009 - 11:09 pm

:D

Poor tards… AM is for you!

[...] “Where they want it, [liberal radio] succeeds, and where they don’t, it doesn’t.” That seems… about the death of libtalking Obama 1260 in DC without mentioning the fact that its ratings were so low it took a microscope to find its listeners. In fact, Obama 1260 carried the entire list of libtalkers Press names as examples of brilliant voices silenced by an evil conspiracy of conservative radio station owners, and the station owner dumped the format because he couldn’t sell their air time to advertisers. [...]

Bill Smith   February 17th, 2009 - 12:55 am

Bill, The NYT, WaPo, etc. are delivered through the US Mail, and over PUBLIC ROADS. Does that mean that I get to march into their offices and demand that they devote HALF — or ANY — of their newsprint, ink, press time, etc. to whatever I want to say to THEIR readership?

Can I march into a successful restaurant and demand that their hard-won customers be forced to eat what MY failed restaurant cooked?

Can I bust in on the Today Show and demand that they GIVE me half of their air, paid for by THEIR hard-won sponsors?

No.

Bill Press, you ARE entitled to stand on a corner and say what ever you want, and hand out your printed words, too. You are NOT entitled to MAKE people listen to you, or read you.

You are free to speak, and I am free NOT to listen.

WAXMAN SAYS ....   February 17th, 2009 - 3:11 am

Waxman is also interested, say sources, in looking at how the Internet is being used for content and free speech purposes. “It’s all about diversity in media,” says a House Energy staffer, familiar with the meetings. “Does one radio station or one station group control four of the five most powerful outlets in one community? Do four stations in one region carry Rush Limbaugh, and nothing else during the same time slot? Does one heavily trafficked Internet site present one side of an issue and not link to sites that present alternative views? These are some of the questions the chairman is thinking about right now, and we are going to have an FCC that will finally have the people in place to answer them.”

2 cents   February 17th, 2009 - 3:22 am

comment boxes like these provide the alternative views MR WAXMAN!

and in this economy 2 cents is all I have to give !DON’T TREAD ON ME mo fo

NO_O_n12   February 17th, 2009 - 3:50 am

Bill Press keeps pressing the issue but he can not offer a convincing argument. He complains that there is now liberal talk radio in D.C. He ignores the fact that one was recently started but failed after only a few weeks, since the election in 2008. Why did Air America fail? The [un]Fairness Doctrine, if imposed should include ALL BROADCAST media. MSNBC should then be forced to carry The O’Reilly Factor immediately following Hardball. Why does Press avoid the issues that liberal radion does not exist outside the areas he mentioned because there are not markets for the product.

Eileen for Freedom/Liberty   February 17th, 2009 - 1:50 pm

Jay Sekulow Live…is focusing on this fairness doctrine…and how they intend to fight it! If you type Jay Sekulow Live in your search engine…you will be able to hear his broadcasts!

Charmin   February 19th, 2009 - 12:38 am

I flushed something that looks and smells like that guy this AM.

Megyn is still HOT, though.

To Bill Press and Larse,

First of, Larse is a retarded loser who doesn’t know his hands from his buttocks, so this schmuck agrees with Bill Press and his fascist friends in the Demoncat Party. Larse, my advice for you is to move to the Ex-Soviet Union, Venezula, China, Cuba, Iran, Syria, or any third-world country out there, because you clearly don’t deserve to live in America since you don’t understand the US Constitution and the Bill of Rights!

Now to Bill Press, this friggin guy is a loser, he’s just yet another stooge for the government, Press, keep sucking up and kissing up to the government, because pretty soon you’ll be off the air, because nobody is listening to your left wing rubbish. You’ll be like the rest of the yellow-journalist who got laid off from the media and want to plot a revolution in this country! And Press, if you Progressives keep trashing America, the Family, Christianity, Heterosexual male and females, the military, the police department, etc. then you left wing whackjobs will continue to removed from airwaves, because the majority of the people in this country despies what you leftist stand for, and NO, it’s NOT no “conspiracy” as you moronic liberals claim!

Liberalism is a Mental Disorder!!!!
