Who won’t admit that they’ve felt like doing that sometimes when they get treated badly at an airport? Especially when it’s for a connecting flight on a different airline, they tell you that your flight will wait for you, you run from one end of the terminal to the other anyway – and then that gate tells that you’re too late… I swear some of these airport people are sadists.

The airlines suck, but this is just too funny. This screwy broad is wound just a little too tight for her own good.

I have been in that type of situation.
I had a connection flight same airline and we were delayed on take off and arrived late, but they shut the doors 10 minutes before the flight took off. They did get me a hotel and flight they next day. Something is wrong with people like that. Maybe she is a liberal..LOL

One time I was on standby in Las Vegas and the plane was totally packed with my wife on board and left the gate and moved on down the tarmac. I was very polite to the gate agents and they were kindof snarky. I resigned myself to waiting on the next flight. Miracles of miracles, the plane turns around and comes back to the gate. One guy gets off and they motion me onto the plane, where I take my seat to the confused stares of all the passengers. Had to be a first. The guy was panicking about flying and that got them to drop him off.

That’s how chris Matthews and oberman act when they don’t get to touch obama’s pant leg as he passes by.

It is very true regarding how American airport security would have handled this woman. They are not trained to think (actually, I don’t believe they can be hired if they knew how to think), and consequently, would have done what their training taught them, which would have been to disable her with a taser, and then to cuff her. Airport Security in the USA is extremely dangerous. They are trained to react, not to think.

For example, if Obama’s kids were seen running in the airport (impossible I know) away from security, and there was some report that two young African-American girls had busted through security, they would probably shoot them in the back, just to find out who they are. Then, they would appologize and see if they could revive them, now that they know they are not a threat.

Afterwards, they would congratulate each other on a job well done, because they were able to react so quickly instead of thinking.

With all the people in Hong Kong, you have to figure at least one of them is crazy.

I think Mike has it right. It could be that her co-passenger boarded — perhaps a child or an elderly person who could not manage alone at the other destination. And it could be that the crew at the gate did not escalate it because they could understand what she was saying between fits. Who knows? Her reaction is so severe that she’s either a rage-aholic or very distressed about something legit, which would explain the 0 to 69 reaction, tantrum and “fainting.” Watching it reminded me of how a protective mother would behave — nuts but perhaps understandable.

A friend of my mine was on a flight in europe when two drunks tried to get off the airplane at 30,000 feet. Unfortunately everybody was to busy wrestling them to the ground to take any videos.

She was lucky not to pull such a stunt at a US airport.
