A sincere and open request to Snowe and Collins of Maine and Spector of Pennsylvania, please remove yourself from the Republican party.

You are a disgrace in voting with the Democrats on this “pork” filled, special interest “stimulus” bill that disguises itself as a help to our economy.

I, and other Americans, want bi-partisanship in Washington no doubt about it.

There are times, however, that it is not possible due to the very, very broad differences between us based on deep seated principles about what is right and what is wrong.

This so called “stimulus” bill has more “pork” than Porky Pig. It has more “thank you to the voters who voted for me” than any other.

It will burden our children and grandchildren with the largest debt in the “history” of our nation. A debt they can never hope to repay.

And why is it the Democrats want this passed when the bailouts that we were told were going to correct our financial situation in the $750 billion bailout…did not!

In fact, it did the opposite because enough time was not taken to provide guidelines and oversight on how and when those monies were to be spent and to who was to get what.

In fact, we have now learned that our government and our Congress allowed millions of our taxpayer dollars to be wasted in the $750 billion dollar package.

How on God’s green earth do you expect to be able to handle such the humongous amount of possibly $9.1 trillion dollars when you could not oversee $750 billion?

How can we trust any one man (especially a proven tax evader himself) or any one entity to oversee these monies?

They cannot and won’t.

If we are to believe what the Nation of Islam’s Messiah says…the sky is falling…the sky is falling…what difference does it make?

If we choose to pass this huge stimulus bill in the hopes it will work…and it doesn’t and the sky falls.

or

If we choose to “not” pass this bill and take our chances and the sky falls.

This is a free enterprise democracy, we have weathered many storms in our government and our economy and gotten through it.

Companies come and go, banks come and go…and life went on.

I want our government to say “no” to making us dependent on big government…I choose not to spend any more taxpayer money…tighten our belts and get on with the business of America.

We can do it again…yes we can!

This bill is too big…there are too many things that have not been investigated.

I just read last night about a healthcare provision they have in this bill about electronic health records of each and every American.

This way another government agency can monitor what kind of care we are given and then if the doctor goes out of the bounds of what the government guidelines are in caring for us…they can put a stop to it!

That is just one item, America. If this bill is passed, we will wake up the next day to surprise after surprise, and discover government intervention in our lives like never before.

America…only we can stop this…don’t give up…we have lost a battle…not the war!

Our very way of life is being challenged here…that is why the Republicans are standing unified (minus the (3) turncoats) against this bill.

You call that partisanship? I call it patriotism and putting America first not party!

Thank you Republicans who are standing up for us…the American people.

Senator Spector is an example of what the Republican party is becoming; Democrat lite. There is no way he can look any American much less Pennsylvanian in the eye and say this is good for America and not be lying. Simple as that. He knows what is in the bill regarding health care and he dismisses it. Along with other spending that if America truly knew what’s in it, they would overwhelmingly be against it. Forget the Obama acolytes who will follow him regardless of what he does. Spector is a disgrace to Republicans and he should just fade away. Or jump over to the left and be done with it. Its where he belongs.

We all knew the three amigos were going to do this and so did Obama. You are all right, they should show some spine and actually become democrats. The annoying thing is that after all the defending of this bill they have done over the past few days, they still don’t know what is in it! This sounds like the mortgage crisis. These dopes are signing on our behalf something we can’t afford and they don’t even know what it is! Variable intrest rates? Balloon payments? National health care??? Big fat pay offs for Obama’s far left wacko supporters??? Gosh we didn’t know we were signing that!!! If this bill were to be revealed to the public and debated for a week it wouldn’t get one vote. The fact that the three amigos are willing to endorse it shows me they are either stupid or in someones pocket. Probably both. Ole Senator Specter sure sounded indignant when Laura Ingraham suggested possibly both.

It is my understanding that you are going to be the target of negative radio ads by the Democrats. I just want to encourage you to stay the course with us in voting “NO” on this bloated “pork” bill. We are proud of our Republicans in Washington as they are standing united against the biggest mistake in the history of our country.

On the other hand, we are disgusted by the (3) renegade Republicans that have joined the Democrats against their party and we, the American people.

This bill is not in the best interests of our country and our citizens. It will penalize and burden our children and grandchildren with a debt they can never, ever hope to repay.

We have heard about some of this “pork” in this bill and we are disgusted by doorbells, ACORN and management of our medical records. This is a special interest bill put together by the socialist Democrats and we are totally against it.

Stand firm…stand with us…we will defeat this together. Then and only then we can work on something that will work…like just concentrating on what got us into this mess in the first place…the housing crisis. One thing at a time…thank you for standing with us!
