You know, America, I was just reminded today by someone on the TV that the Nation of Islam’s Messiah has only been in office…two weeks…two weeks?

I thought it felt more like 20 years. It is probably because the new leader of the free world is in our faces day after day after day after day after day…well you get the point!

It, obviously, must feel like that to Gibbs also because after only two weeks he is getting testy and falling apart on national TV…hey someone needs to tell him it has only been two weeks…two weeks…two weeks!

UGH!

=======================

JUST ANOTHER DAY IN THE “REIGN OF BARRY HUSSEIN”!

Dave, Tn   February 5th, 2009 - 5:42 pm

He was about the only one working for the networks that came close to challenging this group of clowns before the election.
STAY AFTER THEM

Gibbs is maybe only a couple IQ points higher than that loser Scott Bush had fronting for him. Another over hyped myth from the MSLM

LK   February 5th, 2009 - 5:43 pm

“He doesn’t believe in transparency?”

Sure he does Jake, he just doesn’t believe in ETHICS! LOOK AT HIS TAX CHEATING NOMINEES!

By the by Gibbs: you’re no Tony Snow! Whatta bumbling fumbling oaf! Another good selection Obama!

farce   February 5th, 2009 - 5:57 pm

“He doesn’t believe in transparency?”

Yes, his definition is just different than the rest of the world’s. Probably the same definition the USSR used.

Senator Klit Torris   February 5th, 2009 - 6:02 pm

What a goofy, geeky looking guy that Gibbs is. Oh wait, he’s a male liberal. They’re all geeky and goofy. I just hurled major chunks, as I spotted that wrinkled old Arab hag, Helen Thomas to Tapper’s left.

N   February 5th, 2009 - 6:05 pm

It’s a shame this reporter couldn’t have been a bit more persistent with the Bush Administration before our national debt doubled in the period of eight years.

Texan   February 5th, 2009 - 6:30 pm

Tapper DARED question the Lord Messiah? He can expect an audit from the IRS soon for his grevious sin.

Wow, when did ABC grow a pair?

N, you will wish for the days of Bush’s deficit after The One gets done with Porkapalooza

THIS IS CNN   February 5th, 2009 - 6:44 pm

It would have been nice to see this type of questioning, about a year ago.

GiveMeLiberty   February 5th, 2009 - 6:46 pm

I have to agree with NObama…Looks like ABC did a little “growing”! It sure is nice to see another network has some besides FOXNews. Gibbs in NOT cut out for this job, and no one will be able to measure up to Tony Snow. He defined the word gentleman! Tony, you are missed!

TED KENNEDY   February 5th, 2009 - 6:49 pm

Good thing this guy was not in my state 40 years ago.

YES WE CAN… and DID, get away with MURDER.

scabbeus   February 5th, 2009 - 6:52 pm

Is the honeymoon over? ABC would be very smart to continue this tact with the White House; there ratings would definitiely improve.

Wow, I might even tune in to ABC news tonight. I doubt if I will be able to watch for long but I’ll try. If the mainstream media had reporters that actually asked the liberal politicians such questions they wouldn’t have the dismal circulation and viewer numbers that are killing them. The sad thing is that the big liberal media outlets would rather go under than hold liberal politicians responsible.

The Conservative Resistance   February 5th, 2009 - 7:54 pm

Notice he didn’t answer the question about the fact that the polling indicates people hate the spendulus package?

Nobody cares what “we” think. “They” know what’s right for us. Just bend over and take it.

All Hail Comrade Obama!

N,
Don’t you mean they should have pursued Bonnie Fwank, Dobbs, etc? By the way N, GFY.

Apparently, Ole Harry Reid doesn’t know what it means to “burn the midnight oil”!

He misled us…said they’d work through the night…not!

He went home! Hope he reads his emails and gets the number of calls that came into his office today!

KEEP IT UP AMERICA…KEEP CALLING…KEEP EMAILING…IT ISN’T OVER YET! LET’S SHOW THEM WHOSE BOSS AND WHAT WE WANT…NO STIMULUS NOW OR IN THE FUTURE!

Azul Del Fuego   February 5th, 2009 - 11:03 pm

So what if this no name ABC reporter challenged Gibbs. What does it matter? BHO is with us for a minimum of 4 years – and due to the the pork in this “stimulus bill”, he’ll probably be El Presidente for life.
ABC news reporters are all a bunch of pu55ies. Why didn’t they challenge BHO with difficult questions as he was campaigning for a socialistic America….er…Hope ‘n Change?
This is all to throw conservatives a bone and make us think that ABC is hard-hitting news. Just you wait until election time in 3 years…they’ll be Obama’s waterboy once again.

N   February 5th, 2009 - 11:15 pm

Senator Klit Torris-

You know that if you started the day Jesus Christ was born and spent $3 million every day since then, you still wouldn’t have spent the $3 trillion dollars it cost America to go to war with Iraq.

Magyarfrau   February 5th, 2009 - 11:56 pm

Wow, looks like this Tapper guy is on the wrong network.
I guess the criteria to be in the Obama administration must be tax evasion or to be devoid of any competency. This poor Gibbs fellow is out of his element. Where did he work before– Walmart , maybe a greeter? Maybe the Pres surrounds himself with these types to make himself look presidential. Still praying and hanging on to our guns out in the hinterlands.

SEE- yoU Next Tuesday   February 6th, 2009 - 1:14 am

Well Mr Gibbs, three questions & you didn’t deam any “pertinent” well how about you write your own questions, put them in a hat and have the “reporters” pull their question as they walk into the room.

Hopey_Changey   February 6th, 2009 - 1:16 am

Restock the smoking machine in the white house because reality has struck our mythical leader in the head. Obama will now begin to micro-manage press briefings. Heck, he is now the HR director in charge of salaries for corporations. This guy won’t have much time for domestic policy or national security issues. Now I know why he has outsourced domestic policy to Ms. Pelosi. Oops, I forgot, we no longer have any national security issues because we are now loved by all. Grab a helmet because it will only get worse with the kids in charge. Votes have consequences. Don’t trust your emotions.

Cat-Fight   February 6th, 2009 - 1:22 am

Hillary has sure been quiet since Hodbrooke overruled her on Zinni. Who is in charge, Nancy? I can see it now, Cat-fight between Hillary and Nancy with Obama smoking cigs in the basement wishing for 2012 to hurry so he can go home to Chicago.

Russia and Iran see so many opportunities.

Asop   February 6th, 2009 - 10:27 am

Of course Obama believes in transparency….much in the same way the fabled Emperor did. It’s what makes him think he is wearing fine clothes, when he has nothing on at all.

palm32   February 6th, 2009 - 10:52 am

How dare you question the Omans!
Now sit down and behave yourself!
Really, what was so upsetting about this question? Did I miss something?

Senator Klit Torris   February 6th, 2009 - 1:01 pm

This Gibbs guy looks just like Dilbert. And by the way, N, GFY.

Sean R.   February 6th, 2009 - 1:38 pm

And this is what the media is supposed to do, keep the government accountable, honest, etc. You folks know why Obama is getting frustrated that his Hog Spending Bill isn’t passed yet, it’s because more and more of us the American public are educating ourselves about this bill and where knowing that it’s a spending bill and it’s NOT going to save the economy. Last I checked and heard, about a week ago or so, about 45% of Americans were for this bill, now all of a sudden that number has shranked to 37%, while about 45% of us are now against this Hog Spending Bill!

Liberalism is a Mental Disorder!!!!

David   February 6th, 2009 - 2:49 pm

when the press does finally turn on the obama administration – it will not be pretty. it is still early. with his level of experience there are going to be MANY gaffs.

Eileen for Freedom/Liberty   February 6th, 2009 - 3:27 pm

The debate on the stimulus goes on right now 2/6(3:10 pm est) on CSPAN 2 – it is very, very interesting…right now a dialogue between Dodd, Schumer and Graham about housing…please tune in and hear it for yourself!

Kenny C   February 7th, 2009 - 11:18 am

Hey Jake….get up there and tap dance with him
