How about responsibility for putting the tax evader and criminal releaser…Geithner and Holder into the government?

Do you take responsibility for putting on the pressure and getting them confirmed?

The only reason Daschle didn’t make it, and had to quit, was the pressure from the citizens who called and emailed their Senators telling them what they thought about this appointment.

It is just sad that we didn’t get enough people involved to keep Geithner and Holder out of the government!

As usual, this column is rife with nasty little racists and pamper-school level diatribe. I suppose what I’d like to say is this: Daschle still got away with rot, and it’s not fair. And Obama: I am glad you got up and said it’s your fault. But we need you to do better. Fire the incompetent assholes you have got on your vetting team – do not even let a tax cheat pass go. It’s good we are not letting such weasels in, despite their strength in policy in such terrible times. But PLEASE do NOT make us progressives writhe in rage too many more times as you actually put these assholes forward! We desperately need you to run a competent vet and REFUSE to allow anyone who is stained against the common laws of our land to even approach that seat. Please show everyone that this game stops here, here and now, competently, in your administration.

This is the first of many screw ups to come. Obama is our Apologist in Chief. He’s already apologized to the muslims for “America’s behavior” and now he’s apologizing (once again) for his own screw ups.

If he was the least bit sincere in this (and all the other similar interviews), he would ask Geithner to step down immediately, ask Hillary to step down due to being constitutionally ineligible for the position, and have Holder step down for his inexcusable actions in the past.

Then, he would have all his cabinet audited immediately and demand that anyone with any history of tax evasion resign immediately. Also, he should request every single congressperson to submit to an audit with the requirement that they each resign immediately if tax issues are found. Let’s get a clean start, okay? What could be wrong with that?

Finally, all of Obama’s past records from undergraduate school and his birth details should be unsealed. There really should be nothing to hide there, no?

Obama is off to an excellent start, he HAS to be the first US Liberal to ever take responsibility for anything…

and (2) he’s hosing the peaceniks (sending 30,000 troops to afghanistan)

and (3) he’s hosing the homos by not revising Dont Ask

You would NEVER get this kind of leadership from Republicans. Now if he can only get that horror Pelosi under control, extract the garbage from TARP I, I would say he’s batting 1000.

“Enemies in the hill” – thats a loaded statement.

Just because someone doesn’t agree with President Obama’s agenda doesn’t necessarily make them an enemy of his.

If anyone needs a change, it’s NBC.

There is a double standard in this country, if you are a Republican conservative and you do something wrong they will hang you by the highest tree from your toenails.

If you are a Democrat or a liberal you can get away with just about anything. Money hidden away in your refrigerator and not pay the taxes, not pay your taxes for property you own in the Caribbean and have the IRS basically ignore this. Not pay taxes for hiring illegal worker that work in your home. Take free gifts from your buddies and fail to report this on your taxes and the only reason you pony up is because your are hopefully landing a cushy position with the current administration, take sweetheart mortgage deals from Fannie Mae and Freddie and get away with it. Have the company you work for pay you the tax money you owe and still pocket it, and also still land a position in the current administration.

I have to wonder what other surprises we have coming. What kind of decision is our new president going to make when it come to serious matters, Iran, Russia??

Hey, at least he owned up to it and admitted that he made a mistake (unlike that mistake-proof dope now clearing brush in Texas). Now THAT is a breathe of fresh air.

.4 years ago Bush wanted Barney Frank to clean up Fannie Mae….Barney said no….he said every things fine….this was one of many things that started this crap….sure the other side has just as many faults but ease up a little on poor ole George….we all lost money because of this….half of my retirement is gone….now we got a 100 liberal college professors crying that Obama doesn’t know what he’s doing….these azz holes are the ones that educated him….here’s a stimulus plan….cancel all taxes for a couple of months and convert over to a consumption tax..now we have hookers, drug dealers, Daschle’s, Geithner’s Rangel’s and God who knows who else in Washington PAYING TAXES….NOW DO YOU PEOPLE KNOW WHY THEY WON’T PASS A CONSUMPTION TAX! This whole democrat administration is just plain sleavy. I’ve never seen such spin. They must think we’re totally uneducated. The one I heard today? “Well, it took George Bush 6 years to admit he made a mistake versus 15 days for BHO. What a guy!”
This whole debacle shows us that having executive experience is what is required to run something as complex as….as the United States. Since BHO had never done anything prior to his being president, why would we expect he would know how to run anything? He’s never created a job, but he’s the one to pull the country out of a financial mess? He’s never hired anyone, so he’s going to be able to make the appropriate nominations? Don’t keep me started on the military and healthcare. I know John McCain wasn’t very good, but he wasn’t this bad.
