Obama did exactly the right thing here. As we all know, America is for all practical purposes bankrupt.
Opec is our fourth largest creditor.
Our number one creditor is Japan, which may not feel like loaning us much more money because they are now in a recession of their own. China, our number 2 Creditor, has it’s own problems due to our new lack of demand for their products because we are now bankrupt and credit has clearly been tightened here. The there is our number 3 largest creditor the U.K.. Unfortunately, they also seem on the brink economic collapse, too.
Now do you understand why making nice with the Arab world is so important? They are one of the few who are still in a position to loan us money – even though things have even slowed down for them. In fact we have a special relationship with Saudi Arabia that was set up many years ago by Henry Kissinger. He basically got them to agree to always buy our debt to fund these huge debts. So we really need to stay in their good graces in case we need to throw more of their good money after bad into our gargantuan money pit.
The point is, really, that you can forget what we want to happen. America is now owned by other countries. Obviously this hasn’t really sunk in quite yet with a lot of conservatives. So if we really think we still control much of the world – we have only to realize that – that was then – and this is now.

Its members are scattered across the globe and are in many nations. In fact, you could argue that al Qaeda is the antithesis of a state and seem to embrace anarchy. How do you reconcile that paradox? That leaves the OPEC nations, who are probably struggling the least, as our fourth biggest creditor, which means they are probably our most solid go-to-guys when we need someone to provide us with more good money to throw after bad when our gargantuan money pit starts to look even emptier than usual.
