Are all of the reporters in New York blithering idiots? Not only did they repeat the same questions fifty times to the mayor, they kept wanting someone to imply that “terrorism!” was involved. Malkin’s site is saying that a freezing passenger soaked with water was mobbed by reporters while he was freezing, but no one offered him a coat. Yep…the finest of the New York media in action…

22 September 1995; U.S. Air Force E-3 AWACS; Elmendorf AFB, Alaska: During takeoff as the aircraft was passing rotation speed, the aircraft struck about three dozen geese, ingesting at least three into engine two and at least one into engine one. The aircraft was unable to maintain controlled flight and crashed in a forest about 1 mile (1.6 km) beyond the runway. All 24 occupants were killed.

My hat is off to that pilot and co-pilot. At least they had enough courage and honor to steer the plane away from populated areas and take their chances.
Unlike that MORON military pilot who saved his own skin and let his jet crash into a neighborhood and kill some poor man’s wife and child recently!
