Conservative Commentator Dishes on Breaking Bread With Obama at George Will’s House

"He enjoys the back and forth. And he's not tough, mean, insulting, snarling. None of that stuff. And we weren't either. These are a good, conservative group and we just had a great back and forth. And he wants to keep the dialogue going."

Dirty Chicago Politics – as usual – in Chicago and now Washington – Change America? – same ol – same ol!
=======================

The most dangerous kind of an enemy is one that appears to be nice and amicable. I don’t doubt myself that if I sat down with the Nation of Islam’s Messiah I would find him engaging and polite on a social level.

Many leaders of the past are examples of this…Hitler was a great host and very amicable to those he dealt with in the beginning. He received their confidence in the beginnning…fooled alot of Germans and other nations around him.

At one time American leadership thought Fidel Castro was a great patriot and look how that turned out.

Beware of wolves in sheep’s clothing…they are still wolves!

What we have to go on to judge a man is his past…look at his past dealings and associations and you will see what the man is all about.

Enough said!

JUST ANOTHER CHAPTER IN THE “REIGN OF BARRY HUSSEIN”!

We wish him well as he impliments his socialist agenda……I doubt there were any real conservatives in that room.

Why wasn’t Dr. Mary Fatneegro invited? BTW, for an NBC Babe, that host has a nice rack.
Allah Akbar…Yes we can…..

Hitler was a great guy too, he used to pick up babies.

Wonder if when Obama picked up Mr Fruity Tie, it made his little leg tingle.

Each and every one of these news readers is an idiot.

Jezebelle Asymptote   January 14th, 2009 - 5:50 pm

Yeah, the reason Twerpy wouldn’t tell us what was on the menu is because Obama had them all on Heinz baby food and shave ice.

What an effing mess.

Dr. dick Hardon   January 14th, 2009 - 6:11 pm

THIS JUST IN !!! Obama finally picked a puppy. He caved to his base, got a Pit Bull, and named it Malcolm X. Michelle wanted to name it Oprah, but was vetoed.

A free people [claim] their rights as derived from the laws of nature, and not as the gift of their chief magistrate.

Thomas Jefferson, Rights of British America, 1774

At the establishment of our constitutions, the judiciary bodies were supposed to be the most helpless and harmless members of the government. Experience, however, soon showed in what way they were to become the most dangerous; that the insufficiency of the means provided for their removal gave them a freehold and irresponsibility in office; that their decisions, seeming to concern individual suitors only, pass silent and unheeded by the public at large; that these decisions, nevertheless, become law by precedent, sapping, by little and little, the foundations of the constitution, and working its change by construction, before any one has perceived that that invisible and helpless worm has been busily employed in consuming its substance. In truth, man is not made to be trusted for life, if secured against all liability to account.

Thomas Jefferson, letter to Monsieur A. Coray, Oct 31, 1823

Dependence begets subservience and venality, suffocates the germ of virtue, and prepares fit tools for the designs of ambition.

Thomas Jefferson, Notes on the State of Virginia, Query 19, 1787

I think we have more machinery of government than is necessary, too many parasites living on the labor of the industrious.

Thomas Jefferson, letter to William Ludlow, September 6, 1824

Bush unfortunately never had the reverse opportunity. Conservatives are reasonable and rational, willng to engage in intelligent dialogue. The liberal media has been too full of hate and venom towards Bush to engage in any rational meeting. Liberals, especially liberal journalists, can never win a battle of ideas.

Yeah Right   January 15th, 2009 - 5:52 pm

Obama meets with conservative commentators? What conservative commentators? The two conservatives with the largest audiences in the country, Limbaugh and Hannity, weren’t even invited.

Somebody let me know when arrangements are finalized for the Boston Tea Party II. I’ve got my war bonnet and tomahawk ready. …

JD   January 15th, 2009 - 6:28 pm

Some of you people are unbelievable. Conservatives are reasonable and rational and willing to engage in intelligent dialogue? Not when it comes to some of the people who visit this site.

Comparing Obama to Hitler because he was nice?! Oh yes. How I hate my leaders to be nice. I bet most conservatives said that Bush was the kinda guy they’d like to sit down and have a beer with cuz he seemed like a jerkwad.

If Obama had completely ignored conservatives then you people would rip into him, but now that he’s actually met with some conservatives you’re saying that he’s a wolf in sheep’s clothing? Spin it however you want, guys.

All I know is that if this nation wants to come together, there needs to be compromises on both sides, including mine. This just looks like the first brick in building that bridge.
