WASHINGTON, D.C.—– After U.S. Senator Jim Inhofe (R-Okla.) was sworn-in to his 3rd full term in the Senate today, he outlined his top priorities for the coming months and introduced legislation (S. 64) to protect American taxpayers by halting the second installment of the $350 billion bailout. Senators Barasso (R-Wyo.), Wicker (R-Miss.), DeMint (R-S.C.), Lincoln (D-Ark.) and Enzi (R-Wyo.) are original cosponsors of the legislation.

America, some in Congress are starting to get the picture of what ‘we’ want. Fifty seven percent of Americans do not want to spend any more money—we need to increase that number.

Senator Inhofe (R) Oklahoma is introducting legislation to stop our government from using the $350 billion left in the Wall Street bailout.

Here is how you can get involved and let them know you approve of what they are doing and that you want it done and done now!

4. Click on ‘government reform’
5. Click on 1/6/09 bailout bill to read it for yourself

If you agree, send him an email and tell him so. Send your comments to the Democratic and Republican leadership also that we want this bill passed. Send it to your state Senators and your House Rep.
