Lady, if you are ever in the unfortunate position of being close to something really screwed up and then you see just how very bad the press in this country distort the truth, you will question every word from the psuedo-intellectual dolts that are presenting the American public with their version of what is happening in this world!

(Dan Rather, after a US Army observation helicopter got lost and was shot down in North Korean airspace, did everything just short of calling the Army a bunch of liars! He was convinced the aircraft had purposefully invaded North Korea!

The truth was that the co-pilot was getting his border orientation flight and had only been in country a few days. It had snowed heavily the night before and they simply didn’t see ground features that would normally have shown them they were close to the DMZ.

They had no idea they had crossed the DMZ until they called for other aircraft in the area to help them get a fix on their position. When they realized how far north they were they turned around to get back to safe airspace and were shot down by the North Koreans they had just flown over.

The OH-58 helicopter had no armament and both pilots were unarmed. The co-pilot was a Maintenance Test Pilot, on a different type of aircraft. (AH-64)
