Clinton’s Chief of Staff Leon Panetta may have absolutely no experience with intelligence, however he is most experienced in burying secrets which can never be found.
Now that the incoming administration is on a roll I have to wonder what position Monica will have.

Now the Clinton machine has the new adminestration for change wrapped up.CIA,DOJ,secretary of state on and on.
We are in for another four years of Clinton.Don’t think for one second that all of these appointments of the Clinton machine arent loyal to Hill and Bill first and only .Obama is just a puppet.A joke .
Other notable candidates who turned down the job as CIA director include Mike Tyson, Marion Barry, Cynthia McKinney, OJ Simpson, Homer Simpson and Bozo the Clown.

Out here in Monterey County where this beetle-browed freak of nature lives, it is a well known fact that he can’t even control his wife Sylvia. How is he going to run the CIA?

I am very surprised and disappointed he didn’t nominate George “Slam Dunk” Tenet. Why not? He also worked for the Clintons.
Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to the 3rd Clinton Administration.
Thank You

When Bubba and Hillary stage their blood or bloodless coup, whatever it takes, they’ll already have nearly all their retreads in place. Then they can ignore Osama, the U.S.S. Cole and other acts of terrorism just like the olden days!

Socialist/communistic “new” Democratic definition for “change” = same ol…same ol!

Leon Panetta has no experience in intelligence work!
America…this is truly serious…we have always relied heavily on intelligence for our defense.
True they let us down big time in the Bush years…and heads should have rolled…but didn’t!
But to put someone of Leon Panetta’s meek demeanor is a major mistake. I’m tougher than him…if he can do it…you bet I can!
Try again oh Nation of Islam Messiah…try…try…again…our nation’s security depends on it.

During Panetas term with Buba. from 12 year old ,DADDY HOW CAN A STUPID MAN LIKE THAT GET A JOB WITH THE GOVERNMENT ???
You people have elected an idiot. A complete retard. Could have picked Mickey Mouse obama he voted for you to. You moron.
Israel please continue to defend yourself now.
Israel worried about obama presidency:
News article reports why Israel’s worried.
As for our president-elect, his all-too-coy insistence that “we have only one president at a time†has been selective from the start. Glad to pontificate on stimulus packages and union benefits, Obama has used the one-president mantra to avoid taking stands on difficult issues that bedevil or bewilder him.
Our president-elect needed to make a clear, prompt statement in support of Israel. He didn’t. If I were an Israeli leader, I’d be worried, too.
Obama’s notorious for avoiding firm stands that might alienate any important constituency. But you can’t have it both ways in the Middle East. He needs to stand up in support of Israel. Now.
Israeli soldiers should not have to go into battle worrying about an American bullet in the back.

Is anyone going to be surprised if Mr. Judgement picks Sandy Berger for something? Then McCain comes out and says what a great pick he’s made?
Eileen for Freedom/LibertyJanuary 5th, 2009 - 9:24 pm
Now I understand why the Nation of Islam’s Messiah picked Panetta…it is because of his stance on “torture”!
I just read this on Politico today…this was originally reported in the Washington Monthly:
Leon Panetta’s Stand on Torture…..
Those who support torture may believe that we can abuse captives in certain select circumstances and still be true to our values.
But that is a false compromise. We either believe in the dignity of the individual, the rule of law, and the prohibition of cruel and unusual punishment, or we don’t. There is no middle ground.
We cannot and we must not use torture under any circumstances. We are better than that.
Panetta’s appointment, and the choice of Dawn Johnsen to lead OLC, seem to mark a more forceful, dramatic break with Bush’s interrogation policy than anything else to date.
That is why, America, the Nation of Islam’s Messiah wants him at the head of our intelligence agency…so that he can undermine our intelligence.

I pray Hussein’s stupidity selecting an individual with not a shred of experience for the job of protecting our national security doesn’t cost American lives. Our enemies aboard must be laughing their jihadist as*es off. Barry Hussein is an a**clown.

Guess someone needs to dig back into the memory hole and see what Panetta thought about Clinton rendering people to Syria and Egypt for “torture”
GregJanuary 5th, 2009 - 9:53 pm
Why should this surprise anyone. Obummer has no experience and no ability to lead and is totally incompetant. Why then should he pick someone other than a guy that has no experience in the CIA and intelligence gathering.
It all fits – the picture is getting clearer and clearer. We are going to be led by a guy that was first percieved as a moronic puppet beholding to a vast amount of sources and that fact is becomming more apparent by the day.
This is like watching a slow motion car wreck – sad and sick at the same time.

Most of my golfing buddies said they were voting for Obama….and not to worry because he would surround himself with SMART MEN….I’m worried.he.he.he…..oh Lordy
Obama has selected Leon Panetta, the former congressman and Clinton White House chief of staff, to take over the Central Intelligence Agency, an organization that Obama criticized during the campaign for using interrogation methods he decried as “torture.”
Panetta, whose chief qualification is bloviating against torture, has a reputation in Washington as a competent manager with strong background in budget issues. He has absolutely no hands-on intelligence experience. If confirmed by the Senate, a kindler, gentler CIA Director will take control of the agency most directly responsible for hunting senior Al Qaeda leaders around the globe.
Obama’s public relations people at the Associated Press report that Obama is sending an unequivocal message that controversial policies approving harsh interrogations, waterboarding and extraordinary renditions — the secret transfer of prisoners to other governments with a history of torture — and “warrantless wiretapping” are over– the policy of “hug a terrorist today” is here.
Despite an internal list of former and current CIA officials who had impressive administrative credentials, Panetta was selected, in large part, because he comes from outside the intelligence world.
Part of Panetta’s outside world is his membership in the Institute for Policy Studies [IPS], described by Brian Crozier, director of the London-based Institute for the Study of Conflict, as “…the perfect intellectual front for Soviet activities which would be resisted if they were to originate openly from the KGB.”
The IPS is described as a Washinton-based “Think Factory”, which helped train extremist who incite violence in the United States and whose educational research serves as a cover for intrigue and political agitation” (FBI file 175-398). Another description given is that the “IPS apparently exercises considerable influence in the New Left Movement and may have as its goal the destruction of the United States Government.”
And, Obama’s choice for CIA Director is a member.

This is one of the worst moves Obama has made since being elect to the presidency back two months ago. This man, Leon Panetta has NO CIA experience, if we get nailed again (heaven forbid), what is guy going to do and what will he say if anything like that happens to us again?
