Try this. Go to http://www.weatherchannel.com and get a list of all 50 States Hottest Temperatures ever recorded. Look CLOSELY at all the Dates. If Global Warming exists, ALL STATES would have 2008 listed as the Hottest Temperatures. Some of the states have the hottest days back in the 1800’s. How many Cars, and Coal Plants were around in the 1800s???? Look this up. Most states Highs average around the 1920s and 1930s. Remember when Saddam on his way out of Kuwait, just before the highway of death, lit 700 oil wells on fire. Well that burned 6 MBPD or about 1 billion barrels by the time the last well was put out.

Since there was no refining or catalytic converters on those wells it was the equivalent of 20+ years of US driving. As far as run away heating or cooling goes, which ever the latest claim is, I’d say the next volcano to go off will settle things. They produce more C02 than all man kinds suv’s put together and not by a small difference either. The numbers simply don’t compare.

The fact that we are about to start implementing some serious measures to try and protect something that has managed just fine for over a billion years to take care of it self makes me nervous as well.

There is big angle not talked about with global warming. The carbon credits not only makes Al rich it is a regressive tax. Meaning the less income you make the higher percentage of your incomes goes to gas and electricity.

Think about it: if you make $40K a year and spend $50 per week on gas that is 6.5% of your gross income. If you make $120K per year and spend $50 per week that is 2.17% of your income. So if gas doubles (or electricity) then the guy making $40K gets hit with a 6.5% “tax hike” while the $120K guy has a 2.17% “tax hike”

Now people with less money under 45K gross HHI vote democrat 65/35. So the more money Al Gore takes the more votes the dems get cause those fools don’t understand free markets so they will blame the rich just like Obama did and vote for change.

The only industries that lose are the old industrial age ones (steel, autos, coal, agriculture). They will all be forced out of business and the final dagger into the heart of the midwest will be complete.

The topic at hand, this video, is proof of the Fox news corporation cooperation with China. Fox News in China makes much more money for Rupert Murdoch (NewsCorp) than Fox News in America. In order to preserve that profit base, Fox News must minimize all aspects of the Chinese influence of all aspects of our lives.

Why not simply have a LIMITED form of protectionism? Add the costs of homeland security inspections, and the costs of climate destabilization, and the costs of defending trade with China — and divide those costs incrementally between the millions of ships that bring job killing, slave labor, and polluting products to our shore.

The products at Wal-mart only seem low because we are not factoring into the retail price of the jobs that are lost and the homeland security efforts and the price of climate destabilization. The largest political party in attendance at Wal-mart stockholders meetings are not Democrats nor Republicans. They are the Communist Party Youth of Beijing. You can verify this on the documentary “The High Cost of Low Prices.”

If the people I care about have to lose their jobs, that is already bad. But now we have to pay taxes for, and borrow money from, the same people who caused these problems in the first place.
