GoDaddy.Com Throws $2M Holiday Bash for Employees to Celebrate Record Earnings

WHIR: At a time when many companies are scaling back, annual holiday parties and cash bonuses may be on the chopping block this year. However, Go Daddy threw its biggest party ever to reward its employees, who have helped the web hosting and domain provider post record earnings this year.

This makes me wanna rethink GoDaddy as being my website’s hosting company, which will be coming up for renewal in a few months.

Maybe the I.T. industry knows that they will get the next series of bailouts, so they need to blow all their money now, while they still can.

GODADDY IS ONE GREEDY MUTHA   December 15th, 2008 - 3:45 pm

Hmmmm… Maybe all those who use GODADDY.com as their hosting service or their procurer of domain names ought to DEMAND A BIT OF THE ACTION, “or else” (take their biz elsewhere).

GODADDY.com is one of the *chintziest* businesses online. They won’t even provide a friggin’ toll-free 800 number for their customers! They make you call long-distance, then put you on hold indefinitely, and you have to listen to their dorky “SWING” music while racking up long-distance charges. They constantly RAISE THEIR RATES and rarely if ever give their customers any perqs or breaks. Logging in to their website is a hair-pulling nightmare. You’d think with all their bucks they could get things to work efficiently and they could respect their customers a bit more.

GODADDY, you are one helluva Christmas GRINCH to throw a $2 million-BASH and not “invite” your customers or share the wealth with them!!!!! The least you could do is toss them a FREE DOMAIN NAME or lower the fees for a year or something!!

SHEESH! Such GREED deserves not a lump but a TON of coal!

Go to GoDaddy & Get Some Pie   December 16th, 2008 - 4:14 am

Godaddy customers should contact Bob Parsons and tell them they want a “piece of the holiday pie.”
