This is a natural progression. They melt and shrink in summer, and freeze and grow in winter. Even this concept should be simple enough for the Global Warming/Climate Change freakshow to grasp.
I would also remind everyone that it was Al Gore in 2005 who claimed that the northern ice cap would be gone by THIS year.

This very year, Al Gore bought a deisel powered 55 foot houseboat. He calls it ‘clean deisel,’ but the lake it is kept on only sells crude deisel.

Actually, I am a white educated American, and I do believe in Science. That’s why global warming is a farce. Because the science is bunk. Do you get it? Is Al Gore a scientist? Nope.
