The Socialist/communistic “new” Democratic definition for “change” = same ol…same ol!
=============================
This is still Chicago politics as usual from Illinois and from the “Messiah of Islam”!

The same people that are now calling on the Governor to resign are the same socialist/communistic “new” Democrats that defended, former President Slick Willie Clinton in his “proven” disgrace of the office of the “Presidency”…they let him stay in his office…he wasn’t accused of being unable to do “his” job!

I think all of them are hypocrites and clearly being motivated to protect the “Messiah of Islam” and further hold onto the Senate seat for the socialist/communistic “new” Democrats!

I am not defending this Governor…I think he should be prosecuted for doing wrong and so should all those who are a party to this continued corruption in Illinois and this Chicago machine…including the “Messiah of Islam” who profited from such corruption.

JUST ANOTHER CHAPTER IN THE “REIGN OF BARRY HUSSEIN”!

Madigan’s father has long been positioning his daughter for the Governor’s position. If Lisa Madigan has her way, the Attorney General will take over, then appoint her to the Senate seat or appoint himself, in which case, guess who gets to become governor? (Yes, the indignant woman demanding the governor’s resignation). Why can’t we just clean all the crooks out instead of rotating them in Illinois?

Why wont the Democrats give Governor Blago the same due process they scream we should give terroists in Gitmo? Protecting his Royal Highness Obama’s arse is apparently more important….

Eileen -

Your name is growing as long and as full of manure as your comments; you’re a doctor as much as I’m a goat.

Clinton was one of the better Presidents we’ve had. Don’t be such a prude, he had an affair. They happen all the time. The only way in which it impaired his job was from the time wasted by conservatives more worried about a sin than their country.

Obama has nothing to do with this. Do you honestly see conspiracy in everything with a Democrat attached to it? You’re as mentally ill as the 9/11 nuts blaming Bush.

“I recognize that this is an extraordinary request, but these are extraordinary circumstances.” — Attorney General Lisa Madigan

These are not extraordinary circumstances in Illinois.

Would Rod Blagojevich be governor of Illinois if he were not married to Chicago Alderman Dick Mell’s daughter?

Would Lisa Madigan be Illinois Attorney General if she were not state Representative Michael Madigan’s adopted daughter?

Lisa Madigan is a potential replacement for Obama herself. Perhaps if she were to take herself out of the running for Obama’s seat she’d be a bit more credible in her move to preempt due process here.

Farmer Bob -

You make very valid points. This has nothing to do with Dem vs Rep as everyone knows Illinois is a Dem state. I’d really prefer the Illinois Supreme Court pick someone not remotely involved in this mess, at least then we can say, “well, it’s someone new…”

Regardless of her motives, Ms. Madigan is correct in her stance. Blago needs to be forced out or have his authority stripped until the voters of Illinois select a new governor.

Blago should never have been elected, and indeed he should have been forced out long ago, by the voters, in an election. However, Illinois, being a blue state, twice voted him in; and he’s been in for six years doing his damage as the most liberal governor in the country. He should no more be *forced* to resign on the basis of allegations than say, Barack Obama should. Otherwise, Lisa Madigan should be forced to resign on the basis of the fact I believe she is playing politics with this Machiavellian move for the purpose of personal aggrandizement. She wants the Illinois Supreme Court to remove him because he is “unfit” to govern. He’s *always* been unfit to govern. So is she.

Lisa Madigan is what is wrong with Illinois.

First, Lisa Madigan wanted the senate seat for herself.

Second, Lisa Madigan is planning to run for governor in 2010.

Third, Lisa Madigan is using her position to violate Blagojevich civil rights. Even Blagojevich has rights.

Lastly, List Madigan would not have her current position, if it was not for her dads political power!

Lisa is just like Blagovich. She should also go!

Bill5321   December 14th, 2008 - 5:19 pm

Don,

Clinton was not a great president.

His last four years as president, Clinton was forced to give up his law license and almost went to jail.

Now dozen of books are coming out saying Bill Clinton changes in the housing market has cause the current global depression.

Bush is no better than Clinton or Carter. We have has a string of bad presidents.
