The problem with the air car is the energy required to fill/refill the tanks. Another failure on the horizon.

lsbrew   January 4th, 2008 - 4:16 pm

I wonder if it will use regenerative technology to capture wasted energy when braking going hill?

What is with the first poster. Maybe he should change his name to SoCal Loser or Douchbag – notice with a capitol D.

Though it is great to live in a free country – people like him should not be allowed to comment. They should just stay at home watch their tv, drink their beer, keep having sex with family members and let the grown folks talk. Notice every time you see his name there is some scumbag comment with a scumbag tone.

Nasty

I think that if we use most of the hot air from the candidates running for President here, you could travel around the world.

SoCal Patriot   January 4th, 2008 - 5:17 pm

It would be better suited as a hybrid with a small engine on pressure switches to charge the tanks. It’s still not what they’re trying to make it out to be. There’s no such thing as perpetual energy.

Phil Bailey   January 4th, 2008 - 6:01 pm

Compressed air is a very expensive and inefficient form of energy. First, turn coal or oil into electricity. Then run a compressor and then store the resultant energy. Each stage reduces overall efficiency, so the the cost is 85% energy loss and a huge electric bill. Not feasible.

Rover   January 4th, 2008 - 6:43 pm

“Not feasible.”

But it makes a miracle news story for those that hope something might be getting better….

Perpetual motion is just around the corner if we all just prey enough :D

Think of it as Rush Limbaugh style news for those that dropped out before grade school physics… they don’t want facts, they just want news!

“Perpetual motion is just around the corner if we all just prey enough :D”
Praying wont help you…

“Think of it as Rush Limbaugh style news for those that dropped out before grade school physics… they don’t want facts, they just want news!”
Pot/kettle/black… I’m not a big Rush fan but you’re an idiot. :D

Rover   January 4th, 2008 - 8:13 pm

@SoCalPatriot
“Pot/kettle/black… I’m not a big Rush fan but you’re an idiot. :D”
I am a western electrical power engineer that is probably keeping your lights on tonight, you fool! :D

If anyone can make a better car, let them actually do it… So very few ever get that far but rather just try to steal investors money promoting such scams. Look at our favorite Christian Pat Robertson and his investments with Dennis Lee…

Christians seem so easily taken by scams and I try to warn them off. But there are crooks out there looking for Christian fools since they think Christians will believe anything…:

So I try to help…

But the damned seem to be so destined to Hell no matter what I do…

Nobody cares about your SPAM either…

Rover   January 4th, 2008 - 10:05 pm

Let me know your zip code, and I’ll brown your butt out tonight :D

SoCal Patriot   January 4th, 2008 - 10:08 pm

“Let me know your zip code, and I’ll brown your butt out tonight”

How pathetic, reduced to internet threats. That really says a lot more about you than me kid.

Rover   January 4th, 2008 - 10:24 pm

90210…

That is a big one…

I will endeavor to make it so… Even if your were too chicken s*** to give the “real” zip, your moron :D We’ll run a 50mS droop so as not to PO anyone…

:D

SoCal Patriot   January 4th, 2008 - 10:34 pm

You wont be running anything other than your mouth, punk. :D

Poor Rover got his nose rubbed in the “mess” he tried to leave on the carpet and then ran away. Bad puppy, bad puppy.
