If you’re gay, that’s fine…but you still have to be responsible citizens and play by the rules. This kind of stuff just does more harm for your “cause” than good.

I saw a particularly disturbing article that a bunch of teachers were going to participate, taking the day off, letting substitutes fill in, and either drafting gay-friendly lesson plans for their students or volunteering at the ACLU.
