ANTI - AMERICAN MUSLISMS RUNNING AMERICA!   December 8th, 2008 - 2:22 pm

Pat yourself on the back you so-called Americans who voted for this CHICAGO THUG!

Enjoy the decent into 3rd world status you idiots!

Kenny C   December 8th, 2008 - 2:22 pm

It didn’t matter, they were watching other crap on television. Most people are too busy and don’t care who runs the country now. They are all the same anyhow.
When they see their saving go down the toilet maybe they might start paying attention .
Only good thing is the news media is going down the toilet were it belongs. They are going broke and wait until those clowns that worked there see their 401’s

Eileen for Freedom/Liberty   December 8th, 2008 - 2:24 pm

One of the reasons McCain lost. Didn’t have the ability to fight fire with fire. They would have used it on him…to be sure!

This ad could have made a difference…the truth is the truth!

U.R. Dreaming   December 8th, 2008 - 2:41 pm

I do not think that this ad would have changed the outcome of the election but it should have been run regardless. Many of us know that Obama is a fraud, an empty suit, an unscrupulous politician who believes that “the ends justify the means.”

The American people have spoken via the ballot box. Now we need to survive the next four years and the coming depression. To all the conservatives who didn’t vote because they didn’t like McCain: I understand. I was of the same opinion until I realized that elections have consequences and the consequences of an Obama victory would be disasterous! So I held my nose and voted for McCain. Now I feel foolish because I believe that he never wanted to win! He never fought the good fight. He never went after Obama the way he should have. He tried to be a “gentleman” and he lost the election and let all conservatives down.

Dr No   December 8th, 2008 - 2:49 pm

Clearly McCain didn’t want to win. Not running the ad shows it.

Clearly McCain didn’t want to win.”

I dont think he wanted to either

TruthTeller   December 8th, 2008 - 3:31 pm

Not even John McCain was willing to tell the truth about Obama.

Now the Supreme Court has bowed down to Lord Obama.

May God help this country for what is to come…

KansasGirl   December 8th, 2008 - 3:46 pm

Too bad McCain doesn’t have character.

Everyone says McCain did not want to win. The truth is that the Republican party did not want to win this election. If they wanted to win they would have picked someone who was a good candidate and the party would have done a better job at campaigning. Even seasoned Republican party people were asking why they were keeping one hand tied behind the back.

The question now is WHY didn’t they want to win and why did they desert the people who wanted them to win.

Apparently, this Naval Academy grad was AWOL from his class when the battle dictum of “Use it or lose it” was taught.

It is better that he failed to be elected as president, if he didn’t realize or, worst yet, chose to ignore he had the means to defeat his opponent.

In combat, as in a polical campaign – an unwilling combatent is easily defeat, and the McCain-Obama campaign is, and will be, a classic case of that point.

Seattleguy   December 8th, 2008 - 6:22 pm

goes to show what a real class guy McCain is..he said he would not use material from Wright and he stood by his word.. unlike BHO brings CHANGE in the form of Bills old guard. Real nice.

Queryous   December 8th, 2008 - 6:34 pm

People were ready for change.
Political trends cycle and the United States people like to change back and forth between Republican and Democratic.
This is how things have gone.
I think this may be way McCain did not invest a lot in his campaign.

Hephaestus   December 8th, 2008 - 7:15 pm

I can’t believe that so many of my fellow Americans drank the Kool-Aid and voted for this Chicago gasbag named obama. I just hope that he does NOT do for America what he did for Chicago. barack obama is a racist and a liar.

U.R. Dreaming   December 8th, 2008 - 7:20 pm

Someday we may learn the truth about this election and why McCain was chosen to lose it. For now I just wish that the old guy would retire from the Senate and return to Arizona never to be heard from again. He has ZERO credibility with me and many other conservatives.

Think about it, he was a war hero, the ultimate non-republican, running against an inexperienced black man with a muslim name and history! How could he possibly lose unless he ran the worst campaign since Bob Dole!

JL worried American   December 8th, 2008 - 7:22 pm

American’s are not filled with values anymore, they are filled with pride. This voting generation does not research anything they are so ready for the fast living and what is ready NOW. Idiots for not knowing how to plan for the future. Our fathers fought so hard with blood and sweat and to see our great country come to this is just a SHAME and so SAD. For a soon to be first lady to say “I am proud for the first the first time in my life to be called an American” WOW that a thing to say… my comment for that is, hey if you were’nt proud of America then get OUT! America needs people that love her and will protect her and the future. Our military men and women are proud and fighting with honor . No way does she deserve to be called the first lady with a comment like that, and a muslin believing husband to boot. Leaves me to say… I am for the first time embarrassed of what American’s have allowed to call our U.S. President. I cry for our future generation that will be the one’s to suffer for results of this election. God help us and let’s not forget our country was based with the bible as a guide to live by. Sen. McCain is a man of true honorable values and a very proud American who loves his country, so sad we can not call him our President. So sad… :(

Tom   December 8th, 2008 - 8:24 pm

“Comment For Dummies”-see JL worried American

“I am proud for the first the first time in my life to be called an American”
Who said that because if you are quoting someone you NEED to get it correct before putting quotes around it. I belsive that what she said was more along the lines of “for the first time in my life, I am really proud to be an American”

Thank you for your time you IDIOT!

Tod   December 8th, 2008 - 8:42 pm

WOW! Great ad!!! Too bad McCain has TOO MUCH INTEGRITY to play dirty.

John Smith   December 9th, 2008 - 1:16 am

I’m surprised McCain didn’t make something of the Obama quote from the 2001 interview in which he said, “I’m not interested in the suburbs; the suburbs bore me,” suburbs being leftwing intellectual code for non-urban white people.

I honestly don’t think McCain wanted to win, and he especially didn’t want to win if he knew to do so would have turned the press against him. He decided to let them have the candidate they wanted. But McCain still got pilloried by his old “friends” in the media.
