CBS News: The move at the largely black and Hispanic school in Hempstead is among the first in what will likely be a wave of name changes around the world...from schools and streets to parks and mountaintops.

You all know that our schools these days are becoming like the re-education camps in Nazi Germany and in the Ex-Soviet Union! The illiberal media, press and especially the NEA are the ones to be blamed here for our children being indoctronated in schools these days!

Liberalism is a Mental Disorder!!!!

Don’t worry Sean, you can continue to send your kids to church, err I mean a private religious learning facility. We will continue to believe you’ve actually given them an education, even though you’ve brainwashed them into thinking man walked with the dinosaurs. They don’t need Science anyways…

You say you can’t afford to send your child off to a private religious learning facility? Not to worry! Your time-tested KJV head thumper can cover every subject short of Math… the Bible has trouble with math, days and millions of years are always getting switched around.

And you think public schools are akin to re-education camps? Ha!

Obama’s new song:
“Kool Aid, Kool Aid tastes GREAT – Kool Aid, Kool Aid can’t WAIT!”
I look forward to seeing the name of this school in 4 years – they should just hang the sign with velcro and keep the old sign very close. LOL!
Dummies – I’d pull my kid out that school as quick as a Democrat Tax Hike!

The irony here is that even OBAMA won’t send his kids to a public school.

His kids are gonna go to a private Quacker school in the DC area (the same one that Chelsea Clinton went to and Biden’s Grandkids attend). Of course the pretext here is that it is for their privacy and security, but WE know the real reason.

The NEA is a socialist organization whose primary intent is to indoctrinate our youth. It’s funny when they support a socialist like Obama and then he sends his kids somewhere where they won’t be brainwashed like the proletariat class.

I’m renaming my outhouse.

Eileen for Freedom/Liberty   November 22nd, 2008 - 1:21 pm

Public places like streets, schools, airports, etc. are named after individuals who have done something in their lives to warrant such an honor.

Barry Hussein has done nothing so far to warrant such an honor. It doesn’t say much for this school system and/or this city when they have the nerve to name it after a man who has contributed nothing, nothing to their district, their city, and/or our country!

What idiots and they wonder why the school systems are ineffective.

JUST ANOTHER CHAPTER IN THE REIGN OF BARRY HUSSEIN!

Bush twins went to Preston Hollow School first, and The Hockaday School both private.

Yeah, and they’re going to put his face on the new three dollar bill too.

He’s only the president-elect!! He hasn’t done anything yet (thank God). Why don’t they wait to see what kind of president he is? Oh wait, the media will cover for him…
Home school..the way to go to save your children

Hempstead is one of the lowest rated districts in NY State. The gang activity and crime related to such at the middle and high school is out of control. Days after the final presidental debate which happened to take place in at a college on the boarder of the town, blacks and hispanics gangs went at it during school hours. They had to lockdown the high school for several days due to the degree of violence that occurred. No parent in their right mind would ever think of living in such a lowbrow town such as Hempstead let alone send their child to such a deplorable school district. They strive to fail in Hempstead and are damn proud of it. It’s no surprise they rush to rename anything and everything Obama in such a town as they’re none to smart.

Jimbo   November 22nd, 2008 - 5:32 pm

Hey hmmmm…..

Where did you go to school??? Seems you are none (to) too smart as well. Did you fail english and all?

sigh   November 22nd, 2008 - 8:43 pm

Jimbo, is that the best you can do?

A common tactic of Internet losers is to attack spelling and typos instead of actually debating the issue.

csc5502   November 22nd, 2008 - 9:07 pm

Yeah Jimbo,

He spelled it “hmmm” not “hmmmm” like you did. Not to mention the fact that in English (which you should have capitalized) you don’t end sentences with three question marks.

If you’re going to attack someone’s use of language, you shouldn’t make errors of your own while doing it.

[...] SCHOOL NAME: Check.  [...]

Enzo   November 23rd, 2008 - 2:35 pm

Wait and see how low this school will rank over the coming years. Sex, drugs and gang activity will prevail no matter what name you put on the bricks and mortar of a rat hole school.

Duncan   November 24th, 2008 - 1:00 am

Like a renaming will straighten out the schools

They will still be Fu.ked up

paul   November 24th, 2008 - 9:39 am

Don, I am curious, as to where your absoluter proof is about dinosars and how men did not walk with them. Just like everybody else, you assume to much and there is not absolute proof that evolution happened. Not only that, it is my God given and government given right, to teach my kids anyway I see fit. You nor anybody else, can tell me how I can and how I will teach my children. You tell us, not to teach them one way, and want us to teach them the way you want us too. This sir, is called being a hypocrite, one who wants everyone to believe the way he wants, but not willing to let anybody else believe the way they want. Just like everybody else, who is like you, they all want people to keep quiet and not say anything. This is America and I have just as much right to speak my mind as you do. All you have done, is attack people for their beliefs, if they do not agree with you, this is called intolerence, you want tolerence, when it comes to you, but do not want to give it to somebody else. Where you there millions of years ago, did you actually see people evolve from apes, do you have any photographs. No, did not think so, until you have irrefutable evidence and have have absoulute proof, then you have no right saying anything. Stop trying to endoctrinate my kids, by making them believe what they do not want to, by doing this, you are doing the samething, that you say I am guilty of. Science was founded by bibke believing churches, and some of the greateset scientist in history were christians. Sir Issac Newtion, Kepler, Copernicus, and several others. Maybe, you need to do alittle history, before you start spouting of at the mouth.
“I am not using science to explain away the Bible, I am using science to try and explain how God made everything” Sir Issac Newton

Sean R.   November 24th, 2008 - 1:20 pm

Paul that was a good message you wrote to Don (in which Don was responding to my message), you have the right to home-school your kids if you want or you can send them to public schools and they’ll more likely be indoctronated.

Now to you Don, dude, I don’t have kids yet, but when I do have children one day, I’ll send them to public school, and if I find out that there being brainwashed and learning perversion, my wife and I take our kids out of that school and we’ll home-school them and they’ll learn real history instead of perversion!

Liberalism is a Mental Disorder!!!!
