The Banned Pa&triotNovember 20th, 2008 - 8:31 am
It was left over from the Obama ads that infected her reasoning!
Mac-101November 20th, 2008 - 8:39 am
That explains it all, some people are thinking with their WORM cell instead of their BRAIN cell!
VeganmanNovember 20th, 2008 - 8:43 am
Power of prayer huh? Looks like the power of surgery.
These worms come from undercooked pork, so I guess I don’t need to say it, but I will anyway.
GO VEGAN!
It’s healthy, it’s green, it’s good.(no parasitic brain worms in veggies!)
DaveNovember 20th, 2008 - 8:46 am
Just another wonderful benefit of hordes of illegals invading our country from filthy third world societies.
But Hey!,they’re just importing the brainworms that American’s won’t!.
seejayNovember 20th, 2008 - 9:25 am
Dave hit the nail on the head!
America never had a problem with BRAINWORMS FROM NOT WIPING YOUR BUTT until we embraced-(Mandated)- DIVERSITY!
But, once again, noticing when “Hispanics” contract third-world diseases here in America makes one A RACIST!
Just like with blacks and crime! If you notice it, YOU’RE A RACIST!
Tired of the scam?
Seejay, you are racist scum. I almost missed you over the elections, but now I realize it was a nice break from your raving nonsense. Where do you get so much hate? Were you raped by a black man as a little boy or something?
crazy forrestNovember 20th, 2008 - 11:12 am
Yeah… it takes a few hundred hands folded in prayer to do the same thing that two good hands from a skilled and educated surgeon can doesn’t it?
‘Course that doctor don’t know the difference between a fluke and a worm, so…
peter cNovember 20th, 2008 - 11:23 am
Maybe the power of prayer got her into surgery without insurance.
And it’s just another reason why we can’t let illegals stay here. None of the millions here now took AIDS,TB,and other tests legal immigrants take when they come to live here.
But Kennedy,Kerry,Pelosi…OBAMA…don’t care about diseses getting us.Their families are proteacted. They won’t let us have School Vouchers…but their kids go to the best private schools and universities.
And now millions voted for “The Messiah” who knew NOTHING about his truthful background ( he supports illegals getting full American Rights)…but believed all the liues about Palin?
I wonder if Olbermann and Matthews have brian worms.
Melissa in NorCalNovember 20th, 2008 - 12:37 pm
Why in the world did they cancel their insurance? Now, we get to hoof the bill for her worms. Geeez!
Melissa in NorCalNovember 20th, 2008 - 12:39 pm
Veganman,
Going vegan isn’t the answer. Washing your hands and cooking meat thoroughly is the answer. You don’t have to be the one eating the meat to catch this by the way. There was an Orthodox Jewish boy back East that came down with this and nobody could figure out how. Hygiene is the most important thing and it does seem as though our “new immigrants” don’t have a whole lot of respect for it. Poor hygiene is pandemic in Asia and South America.
[...] A simple hand washing could prevent something from taking up residence in your brain. A valley mother of four is told she has a brain tumor. But when doctors go in to remove it, they find something else. And it turns out this isn’t the only time the doctor has run into this. WASH YOUR HANDS OR ELSE; The worms crawl in, the worms crawl out….. Breitbart TV [...]

Hey You Out There,Those of you who complain about people migrating to our country- the aliens as you call them. How do you think you got here. Unless you are Native American, you are the proud owner of “alien” blood coursing through your veins. Whether your ancestors came from England or Germany or Australia or wherever they came from, your DNA arrived on our shores FROM SOMEWHERE ELSE. Yes, you too are at least a little bit alien. Join the club.
A very interesting fact for those of you who keep ragging on black people is that the DNA of many African Americans has been here longer than your DNA has! In other words, you are more “alien” than they are.
GarrettNovember 20th, 2008 - 1:49 pm
Power of prayer? You must be joking! It is the power of science and it’s wonderful offspring, technology. Prayer had NOTHING to do with it. It is a complete waste of time. The act of praying is a direct descendant of the act of human sacrifice or pushing needles into voodoo dolls to supplicate the alleged gods. If you don’t believe me then, when you get sick again, just go to your local clergy person (shaman) and let the “power of prayer” (an oxymoron) cure you. You and I both know that you won’t do that so doesn’t that make you a hypocrite? Yes it does. Religion is irrational. Deal with reality with reason not supernatural BS!

Wow, I can’t believe that every last one of you is completely missing the point of this story. Honestly, can you be more childish?
It really doesn’t matter if you believe in prayer or if you think Obama was the right choice. The moral of the story is…
APPRECIATE THE LIFE YOU HAVE NOW, FOR YOU DON’T KNOW HOW MUCH YOU HAVE LEFT.
DranoNovember 20th, 2008 - 2:50 pm
These 3rd worlders, the pride of the multi-culture crowd, are handling your food from field to table and in restaurants. As pointed out in these comment pages it related to personal hygiene which is practically unknown in most of Mexico and South America as well as consumption of undercooked pork raised in filth.
TB is back, Polio is back, Leprosy is back, all due to legal and illegal immigration. How long before we have small pox again as well all brought to us by illegals who sneak into this country without health examinations.
Gregus ScottusNovember 20th, 2008 - 3:03 pm
I thought the worm was the most disgusting thing I’d seen today— until I started reading the comments.
Microwave EverythingNovember 20th, 2008 - 3:49 pm
The comments about third worlders coming here with the same attitudes from the old country is spot on. How many do you know? Do you understand what is acceptable to them, hygiene wise? Come out here to Central California Ag country and you will get an eyefull. The truth speaks for itself and it is nasty. Go into any restroom they use and you will notice NO toilet paper.
As far as Native Americans not being immigrates, that is not exactly true either. They migrated here from Siberia or somewhere else, so look up the definition of the word. History is written by winners, not losers, adapt and conquer or be a footnote in history.
Gregus ScottusNovember 20th, 2008 - 4:23 pm
“History is written by winners”
Yeah, and guess who is winning these days. The immigrants. They have more children. American culture has stopped being spread because Americans thought they could just ignore other people and treat them like dogs instead of educated them and improving their lives. They looked down on them and thought they could pretend they weren’t there. But they are there, and they have many more children than your typical white westerner. So, therefore, time to take a different approach— embrace them and teach them the ways of western civilization. If they refuse, then they ought to be kicked out of the country. My ancestors immigrated here— they learned the language and they took up the way of life. Others must do likewise.
JPGNovember 20th, 2008 - 4:23 pm
Why do you God haters always spew on everyone of faith? I’m sure prayer helped but not in ways you’d understand. Go bash all of those God fearing/loving scientists, artists, composers, etc. throughout history and laud the pagans who accomplished nothing but death and destruction which, by the way, you always manage to attribute to Christianity. Faith can’t make anyone perfect but can lead you to excellence when maintained with reason.
Kali4November 20th, 2008 - 4:33 pm
Goldilocks—
Did you forget that there was NO America prior to 1788? How can you be an alien in a country that doesn’t exist? Native Americans themselves are immigrants to this land as well. Try not to confuse the country (U.S.A.) with the land it’s borders encompass (a portion of the North American continent)when you speak about immigration. Most (not all unfortunately) of the people are railing against “illeagal” immigrants. Let me state that one more time, just incase you missed it. ILLEAGAL immigrants. The reason they are called illegal immigrants is because they ignore the immigration laws that are already in place. So yes, they have already broken the law and should be subject to punishment under the law. Part of the reason that the laws are in place is to ensure that we (as a country) do not begin to grow at an unsustainable rate, to ensure that no highly infectious diseases enter the country to threaten citizen’s welfare (unless I am mistaken you are subject to a cursory medical examination upon application for citizenship), and to allow a fair way for everyone (who wishes to do so) from around the world (not just the countries who are directly attached to our borders) to have a chance to come here. There are two types of citizens; Natural Born (born on American Soil) and Naturalized (legal immigration or born on foreign soil to American parents.) Even the founding fathers recognized that they were not Natural Born citizens, but they were not immigrants either. They were born on this soil, but before there was an America. So as far as being called an “alien,” it depends on where you were born and your nationality. If you were born in America and moved to Mexico, you would be an alien. That is not the place you are from and you have not yet become a citizen. Alien is the correct term, so get your panties out of a wad. I was born in America, and I live in America so at no time could you consider me an alien. I have ancestors who immigrated to America, they were aliens for a while (Resident Alien is the official status until you gain citizenship if you are here legally). I even have a few ancestors that showed up here before there was a U.S.A. I, and most other people, don’t have a problem with immigration or immigrants. If you want to come here for a better life, to improve the country, great! Show it by respecting the laws first.
Garrett & Don & Veganman–
Before you discount prayer, you should remember that there are many things in this world that are unexplainable by science. Prayer itself has been shown to be benificial to those in recovery after major surgery mainly via stress relief (high stress inhibits the healing process). There is a “random” possibility of something going wrong in *any* type of surgery. For example the surgeon is not in control of the sterilization of the instruments. The surgeon could perform the surgery flawlessly, but unbeknownst to him, he left a disease in you brain ten times deadlier than the problem he fixed. A little extra precaution never hurt anyone. Don’t be confused, I myself do not pray and I am not a religious person. However, unlike you I am not so quick to discount something I can’t comprehend and measure. For example, I went through Hurricane Ike. All of my neighbors and I had a pre-hurricane party before the hurricane made landfall. Let’s just say we had a stumbling good time. As the rain started to fall we all made our way back inside. The guy that lives across the street from me (a Naturalized Citizen for those who care) ended up saying a prayer to all of the trees in his yard. Eight trees, individually, in the hurricane rains. The next morning came around and his house not only had no damage, but not one single broken tree limb either. He was the only one. Can you scientificly explain that? I can’t. Could it be chance? Sure, why not. Could it be something more? Who knows. But your belief that it isn’t is just as viable and provable as those who believe that it is.
I am sorry I took so long to get around to making a direct comment on the content of the story. Here it is: Cook your food properly and wash your hands!!! Being a vegan won’t avoid this either. The larvae that produce these worms can survive on the outside of vegetation long enough to make it into your body. Besides, it is against our biology and nature to not eat meat. just look at the natural world. When it come to living creatures they can be largely broken down into two groups, predator and prey. Prey have flat grinding teeth (for crunching up delectible vegetation), and eyes to the sides of their head (for a wider field of view to watch out for those that would eat them). Predators have sharper cutting teeth (with wich to get a nice chunk of juicy steak), and forward facing eyes (allowing for binocular vision and depth perception to accurately gauge that ferocious tooth and claw filled lunge). Where are your eyes, and what kind of teeth do you have? You can get by on veggies, but without artificial supplements, it is unhealthy for humans to live on veggies alone. We just weren’t built for it.

Veganman – you can still get brain worms even if you do not eat meat. Watch the whole video. When you are eating those veggies the person in the back who prepared them may not have washed their hands and passed that worm on to you. Better idea, cook and eat at home.
Gregus ScottusNovember 20th, 2008 - 4:40 pm
JPG, don’t bother talking to these people. They believe lies. My personal favorite atheist lie is that religion has resulted in all of these wars and millions of deaths throughout history. When you actually do a little studying, you find this is completely untrue. It is, in fact based on a total misunderstanding of people and of religion. Very few wars could claim religion as their root cause, and half of these were started by Muslims against the infidels. The Inquisition resulted in a very small number of deaths over a very long period of time, yet it is heralded as a Great Proof against the validity of religion. And then you come to the 20th Century… And you see what atheist thoughts led to— millions upon millions upon MILLIONS of deaths. Murders of the innocent. Eugenics in full force, carried out by ruthless atheist dictators. And the modern atheists tell us we should ignore this and not blame atheists for it, all the while they try to blame religion for all of the world’s ills.
They are fooled— completely fooled. And they choose to be fooled, most of the time.

This story reminded me of a scottsdale man a few years back that committed suicide by getting on top of his convertible and letting it collide into a pole while it was still going down the road. Just like in the movie Crank, where Chevy (J. Bonaham) is on a motorcycle. I think he had the same disease or something and it ate away at his brain – he came back from Mexico after eating pork.
