You can bet that Senator McCain had to make some concessions to the “Messiah of Islam” to get this deal done.

That is what is called “dirty politics as usual by the “new” socialist/communistic Democratic party!

AMERICA BLESS GOD…ASK HIM FOR HIS FORGIVENESS FOR THROWING HIM OUT OF OUR HOMES, OUR SCHOOLS, OUR COURTS AND OUR COUNTRY…ASK HIM TO COME AND HEAL OUR NATION AS IN DAYS OF OLD!

Obama and Reid still need Lieberman to reach 60 votes and shut down Republican filibusters.

So the Dems had to postpone their vengeance…..again.

Joe beats MoveOn and DailyKos again.

It’s funny how Democratic Senators do not have the gonads to vote for or against Lieberman OPENLY–and insist that THEY must have the secret ballot.

Yet in January they plan to take the secret ballot away from American workers with “Card Check”–which Obama will sign to pay off his big union benefactors.

Keep your friends near and your enemies nearer.

It was a good choice because it appears to be magnanimous and he will owe the Party and Adminstration.

Lieberman never should have left the show, “ALF”… he was great as “Willy”.

Of course, Lieberman’s best known role was Emperor Palpatine in the Star Wars movies.

I have to quote this for emphasis, as I was thinking the exact same thing. Democrats specialize in irony and hypocrisy. Useless idiots.

The move by Democrats to allow Joe Lieberman to rejoin with Democrats in return for his committee chair is a very smart political move on behalf of President Barack Obama. It is exactly the type of unity that will give Congress the ability to run a Democrat mandate without oposition.
It’s clearly a signal from God that he wants the Democratic party to succeed and proof that
republicans have disenfranchised more then the people…….

They need Lieberman..plain and simple. Lieberman sure isn’t afraid of those Democratic idiots. He may turn out to be the Dems worse nightmare. Sure hope so…Somebody needs to keep a check on those nuts

Perhaps we will have open voting next election and President Obama will get 99% of the vote. Secrete voting for the laws, Ya, that works for me!

Texas_Liberal   November 18th, 2008 - 9:23 pm

I can’t believe they let him keep his chairmanship. He’s a turncoat and he should have been bounced. Typical garbage from the gutless wonders in the Democratic Party.

sigh   November 18th, 2008 - 10:45 pm

Yo Texas_Liberal, they are all gutless wonders, Dems and Reps both. As far as him being a turncoat, I think you are too rough on him. The Dem Party turned on him first by endorsing another candidate in his district. Only the party rats voted against him, which is why he won as an Independent. The Dems got what they deserved. And the American People got what they needed, somebody who no longer was forced to vote along party lines. 2 down, 98 to go.

sigh   November 18th, 2008 - 10:49 pm

Oops. Lieberman does not have a District, I meant for his seat in the Senate.

pine   November 19th, 2008 - 8:17 am

I’m confused, what is the difference between Joe Lieberman and Chuck Hagel?
