Homosexual hypocricy, yet again.

Their movement to establish hate-crime laws is a ploy to criminalize Christianity.

And yet they exhibit the worse acts of bigotry and hate.

Brenda C   November 11th, 2008 - 8:15 pm

The same people that voted for obama voted against you homosexuals. They can’t be right when you need them and wrong when they disagree. Get over it. You lost

Taynia   November 11th, 2008 - 8:33 pm

Yes, it is VERY dangerous for people who disagree with the left to attempt to use the First Ammendment. The Left is trying to make Christianity (especially Mormons) illegal. They can’t be happy until all dissenters are quieted by the government or social pressure.

Travis   November 11th, 2008 - 8:37 pm

The Left claims to encourage tolerance, acceptance and freedom of expression, but show nothing but intolerance and unacceptance and want to withhold the same freedoms of those who disagree with them. We live in a democracy. The people have spoken.

The truth will out   November 11th, 2008 - 8:37 pm

When will the sodomites get it???

I hope they die   November 11th, 2008 - 9:31 pm

Those No on 8 people are disgusting. The people of California voted TWICE don’t they get it??? We don’t want your SICK LIFESTYLE CHOICE shoved down our throat.
It is a choice, not a right. No one is stopping them from having any rights. They are trying to take away what the people of California voted for.
Why don’t they go after the NAACP, since 70% of Black voters voted YES ON 8—why why why??? Get it it is the most disgusting abuse of the court system ever. The gay activists are sick cowards for their attack of Dr. Dobson and the Mormon church.

JPG   November 11th, 2008 - 9:48 pm

Hey California, we’ll make you a deal. Clean up your filthy cess pool of a state and reign in spending so your halfway decent people will quit leaving and coming to our states in the midwest. Why? We don’t want your values and these people voted for B.O.
In return, we’ll encourage our mentally ill homosexuals to go to Houston, New Orleans or Atlanta for their gay orgies so they’ll quit coming to your state. Your lib media and schools have brainwashed and created so many as it is.

LSU Fan   November 11th, 2008 - 9:57 pm

Maybe Dobson is dangerous. I think he killed Pete Maravich!

From CA w/ love   November 11th, 2008 - 10:00 pm

JPG,

If you haven’t kept up with the news, California voters voted twice now to ban gay “marriage”. Its the liberal appointed judges who want to re-arrange the definition of marriage. The people leaving this state in droves are the hard working, income tax paying, straights.

Kuhpeesh?

Don   November 11th, 2008 - 10:38 pm

I’m surprised the other Prop 8 backers (LDS Church) weren’t there protesting alongside those they hate. Dobson and Focus on the Family don’t believe that Mormons are even Christians! Silly Bible thumpers can’t even get along with those of like mind.

Being a homosexual I can’t understand why you people hate gays no much. People voted yes and it passed. Gay people have the right to protest. Lets say that someone held a vote that women couldn’t work anymore and it passed because all the men showed up and got it through. It doesn’t make it ok just because something is passed.

I do not want special rights I just want equal rights under federal and state law. The same rights that a heterosexual couples have when they get married.

You keep saying gays are liberals. Well I am not. I am a republican. If you think about it most sex scandals with republican government officials tend to be gay ones.

As a gay person I can tell you I am just as hated by the right as I am by the left. What I don’t understand is why me getting married to an adult of the same sex will hurt any of your marriages.

Also please remember gay people do not expect to be married in your church. If that is not part of your religion then it won’t happen. I am fine being married by a judge.

The sad thing is if you knew me in person..I mean really get to know me and how I treat others you would like me and we would have a lot in common as humans.

I understand some people because of the bible are against homosexuals. I understand that and respect your belief. Please respect me. We can agree to disagree and still live without causing each other pain.

Queef in VA   November 12th, 2008 - 12:11 am

Most of the gays I know are so one-sided. They think they know everything about politics but come up so short on any real issues, especially the lesbians. They want to have babies with frozen gay guy sperm and one of their eggs in order to make believe they are real parents and family. Trying to dress like and make the child look like the parent they are really not even related to. It’s a farce and they will live to see how if affects the children. Or it will make the children bitter towards anyone who has a “normal” family lifestyle.
Then you have the gay men who think they can raise children but can’t even keep it together in their basic relationships and screw up the kids.
Look if you cant have children because you are same sex couples then please get a pet or two – at least you can send them to the kennel when you have your hissy fits over who was supposed to do the laundry.

Scientist X   November 12th, 2008 - 2:04 am

Is it true that homosexuals have a higher incidence of colon cancer and problematic diverticulae? It seems like a logical conclusion since the colon wasn’t intended for friction from repeated entry and retreat. That particular organ is for excreting waste from the body. The occurrence of the colon serving any procreative purpose cannot be found in nature. Perhaps the phenomenae of rectal breaching is a deviation from nature.

Alex P   November 12th, 2008 - 2:26 am

As a person born a physically intersexed woman, a pseudo-hermaphrodite, perhaps I can offer a different perspective. I am also a staunch conservative. Although reared originally as LDS, I consider myself essentially a diest, one who affirms Jesus, but does not support so-called “holy scriptures”, or other writings, as they are indeed products of fallable, mortal man.

Personally, I do not embrace the concept of gay marriage, per se, as an institution. I voted againt Prop. 8 because I believe it is wrong to deny any group equal protection under the law. Contrary to what some say, marriage is primarily a civil activity and secondarily a religious one.

Claims in the ads supporting it were nearly all bogus. Many of the sign wavers who supported it were, in my opinion, ignorant, pansy-like, pasty-faced, church-going drones, who couldn’t fight their way out of a paper bag. Most wouldn’t say crap if they had a mouth full! Hypocrites!

One reason I voted no is that I consider religion to be the absence of reason and logic. It’s a social control system that has very little to do with The Creator, God or Great Spirit and has everything to do about controlling the lives of other people. Balderdash! It’s about time that many so-called religious people wake up and understand that their institution is entirely man-made, is fallable, and those who practice it, for the most part, are just plain gulliable. It has very little place in modern society. In my view, churches are businesses which should be taxed like any other business. If you want to practice religion, please do so quietly at home. Do not try to force your belief system upon me or anyone else. Religious people typically do not ever carefully research the basis of their faith, how the Bible came about, those who wrote it, or the doctrines that grew up around it. Just because you “believe” something does not necessarily mean that it is true. It’s time that people think for themselves and not be slaves to a system that looks upon its members as sheep. Sheep, as you know, get shorn.

As a true hybrid between male and female, I think I am uniquely qualified to make the above statements because I have never had the luxury of thinking inside the box like most religious people. My life, over the course of 52 years, for your information, has been a living hell. Not by choice, but by circumstances of birth. My parents reared me in the wrong gender. The genetic and brain scan tests confirm it.

As a result, I have never known the love of another human being. I’ve never had a relationship, a companion, intimacy or anything like that almost all people take entirely for granted. I will never have a child, a family, or a husband. I have come to grips that I will have to live this entire existence alone. I have no doubt that I will die alone, uncared-for and unloved by another not for who I am, but for what I am!

So, when you criticise gay people for wanting to be married, support them in their quest to be happy. Put aside ignorance and hate-filled religious dogma that serves no useful purpose. A compassionate Creator wouldn’t put gay people here unless they were not meant to be happy, loved and embraced.

It’s not your place to judge other people and their lives anymore than it is their’s to judge yours. So live with it! With that in mind, I hope all gay people can be happy with their relationships in life. It’s hell to have to go through a lifetime alone, so support them at the best, and don’t harm them at the least.

Most likely, Prop. 8 will be struck down soon as unconstitutional. as it should be. For it denies a minority the same rights enjoyed by the majority. In a representative republic, like we have, the majority is not permitted to subjugate a minority regardless the majority agrees with them or not, this is especially true as long as it does not harm others.

So give up your paranoia and be happy. Be happy for those people who have found a life parner in which to love for the rest of their time here.

Remember, people like me cannot even have that privilege, for we will pass from this earth alone.

Then you don’t know the Bible, or God AT ALL. Jesus claimed MANY would claim to be of christ, or following him, or adhering to his teaching, and woul be thrown in the lake of fire for their hypocrist and unbelief.

If you are a homosexual or transexual or whatever..you cannot enter Heaven, God already said this over and over in the Old Testament. But then, you already know that. Don’t you!

So just go away and stop cursing those who want to obey what God commands as far as what to do and what NOT to do.

Gay people need to understand the ancient criteria of marriage:

“For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh.

When you can become “one flesh” give us a call.

Just once (OK, a lot more than once) I’d like to see one of these protesting mobs of violent queers “dispersed” by an IED, you know, Baghdad crowd control.

Only Petulant Brats ACT UP!   November 12th, 2008 - 4:18 pm

Why can’t gay people GROW UP and leave the rest of us alone?!?! Their emotional instability is deeply disturbing, and yet some groups want to label them “normal” and give them “rights & privileges” that only apply to heterosexual people.

The fact that they refer to their protesting movement as “ACT UP” ought to be a clue to everyone: Only little petulant BRATS “act up”!

Just what is a “pseudo-hermaphrodite”? Is it something like a Mormon who doesn’t believe in holy writings? Come on, who are you attepmting to kid? Pseudo means false, fake, sham. So you are a sham hermaphrodite. You are female being held in a male body?
Then you go on to say, “It’s not your place to judge other people and their lives anymore than it is their’s to judge yours” after saying, “Many of the sign wavers who supported it were, in my opinion, ignorant, pansy-like, pasty-faced, church-going drones, who couldn’t fight their way out of a paper bag. Most wouldn’t say crap if they had a mouth full! Hypocrites!” I am afraid that you didn’t even read your own writings. And your tone and word choice suggests that you are of the GLTG community. You are pseudo, fake in your attempt to suggest you are openminded to anything you don’t agree with.

William   November 12th, 2008 - 5:17 pm

You put forth the arguement, “Most likely, Prop. 8 will be struck down soon as unconstitutional. as it should be. For it denies a minority the same rights enjoyed by the majority. In a representative republic, like we have, the majority is not permitted to subjugate a minority regardless the majority agrees with them or not, this is especially true as long as it does not harm others.”
Will you also use the same arguement to allow for beastiality and pedophilia? After all, if you are a member of NAMBLA, North American Man Boy Love Association, you should remember their motto, “Sex before 8 or it’s too late.”
Where will you, Alex, draw the line and say that the SELECTED behavior of an individual, does not have to be approved by any and all?

Eileen for Freedom/Liberty   November 12th, 2008 - 5:32 pm

Dr Dobson is a wonderful Christian leader…and Focus on the Family has done more to inspire Christian families throughout the world than any other organization.

The Gay rights people are wrong in attacking him. It reminds me in the Bible when the two angels went into Sodom and Gomorrah to take Lot out of the City before it was destroyed…and the crowds of gays/homosexuals pressed into the house where they were to induce them to come out because they were new “men” in the community and they wanted to “know” them. It is that kind of mob mentality that I see here and around our country today…the same crowds…lashing out…just before Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed!

AMERICA…BLESS GOD…ASK HIS FORGIVENESS FOR THROWING HIM OUT OF OUR GOVERNMENT, OUR SCHOOLS AND OUR LIVES! HE IS OUR ONLY HOPE…!

None to you   November 13th, 2008 - 2:00 am

Maybe you people should get some morals instead of running around screwing each other thinking that is what family is. You hide behind and team up with all of the others doing the same as you and making each other think you are doing right. How sick and sad. Why bring innocent children into this, you are so very selfish. It’s all such a facade for you. Once you don’t find your partner attractive anymore you are gone – how disenchanting for the children you have but they will be Ok right?<?<??<?<
NOT!
