Some of them have been found innocent and released before. Mayhap we learned our lesson.

No doubt there will be far left judges, that will release them on our streets…..not only pay their legal expenses, but we will be made to fork over welfare and food stamps to them!

Granted BO is the POTUS elect but I don’t have to like him any more than you like GW. I’ll just put up with him like I did Carter. BO will be gone in 4 years unless hs declares himself POTUS for life like his bud Chavez and Castro.

First of all, he can’t do anything himself. The current procedure is prescribed by the Military Commissions Act of 2006. Any potential changes will have to make it through Congress first, just like they did under Bush.

Second of all, I doubt he is interested in making any actual substantive changes in this area. Maybe, for PR effect, he’ll transfer them from Guantanamo to another military base.

I wonder how many relatives Obama will find when the Gitmo crowd gets here.

Besides, President Obama will not be closing Guantanamo because he will need someplace to put his political enemies.

Like killing babies, a guy marrying a guy (or girl marrying a girl), forced labor under the new Obama plan for student’s community service, stealing money from a hardworking individual and giving it to people that don’t work. Values like those? You can keep ‘em.

Second of all people should be able to marry whomever they want.

Third nobody (student or not) was ever the worse for a little hard work.

And fact is sometimes we do need to pay for people that are unable to take care of themselves. So don’t be so stingy. There is nothing wrong with helping out others.

Third, the students I know DO work hard through church campaigns and other voluntary organizations.

I am not stingy and I am not opposed to helping others. I contributed a significantly higher percentage of my income, through my church, than either your god Obama, and ESPECIALLY his really stingy sidekick Biden. I have no problems with contributing, but I want to decide to whom I contribute…not have my money stolen by the government and then redistributed by them.

while we’re at it… Also hold a trial for Obama and ACORN. They caused the our current economic situation As ACORN forced banks to loan money to people/illegals. Oh also… the wire-fraud/bank-fraud/credit card fraud for the Obama campaign. which was very ‘intentional’ and not ‘accidental’. one finds it hard… to stumble into the security protocols (which requires a password) and then accidentally switch off the security features. Obama did such purposely – and illegally.

As a conservative, who didn’t vote for Senator Obnama. I am proud that he has decided that the detainees will be tried in American courts. It’s about time.

Don’t get me wrong, I don’t like these characters at Gitmo. However, I believe that we, as the good guys, must always play by the rules. For without rules, we are no better than they are!

They are entited to constitutional protections and protection under the Geneva Conventions. Our military men understand the importance of upholding these vital laws for combatants.

I hope the President-Elect will renounce torture and mistreatment of prisoners at the very least.

After all, we’re supposed to be the good guys!
