Obama is really trying to protect us and the environment from pollution. I like that. It is about time that we create clean coal technology to help coal workers live longer. End killing coal workers due to health problems caused by unclean coal. Good Stuff!!!

Do not call your uncles evil. They had to feed their families. The coal mine owners are the ones to blame because they did not provide a safe working enviroment. Obama will have your uncles working in a safe clean coal enviroment that does not affect their health. It is time we clean up the enviroment with new jobs and technology.

Technology is a wonderful thing except when it comes to coal. According to Obama and Biden there is no such thing as “clean” coal. Obama says his cap and trade policy will bankrupt the companies. The democrats objective is to put the coal industry out of business. Again the democrats are against anything that gives us a chance of energy independence.
Obama plans to capture the force of the Great Cosmic Vortex in to power America.
In the meantime, we will be at the mercy of his Muslim brothers in the Middle East, and make us more vulnerable to terrorist attack.

The sun is setting as I sit down with Barack Obama, the next President of the United States in his hotel room. Obama drinks from a water bottle and leans back in his chair. He is tired but still alert after a long day of campaigning. His face is relaxed and content. “We are almost there,” he tells me.
Election Day is two weeks away. The sun may be setting on this particular day but it is clear to all but a few that a new day is beginning soon not only for America but for the world.
It has been six months since I joined the Obama campaign. Sometimes it feels like lifetime ago. So much has happened. There has been a great deal of traveling and I’ve seen more of America than I have ever cared to see. I am still astounded by how large this backwards and flawed nation is. I express this to Senator Obama.
“I understand. Believe me, I feel the same way.” Obama pauses and puts down the water bottle and rubs his eyes with both hands. “There is so much that I must do and sometimes I don’t know if eight years will be enough.”
The McCain people continue to claim Obama is a Socialist or that he will take money from plumbers. “They do not understand,” Obama says. “I wish sometimes I could just grab one of them by the shoulders and just yell, ‘wake up and get with the program!’”.
“Some people get it, a lot of them actually. They know what I must do. America is broken. Look at the rallies.” And he’s right. I don’t believe any of his appearances this week attracted less than 10,000 people.
“We have walked down a long path and I don’t mean just you and me. Martin Luther King, Malcolm X, W. E. B. Dubois, they all started the path and I can finish it”.
I tell Obama the legend of Amon-Ra, a God of ancient Egypt who attains the characteristics of all other gods. “Sometimes you remind me of him,” I tell him.
Obama smiles and looks out the window. Outside is America; a land that needs a wise and just leader.

Wind and solar need constant coal back ups, democrats are against nuclear plants, democrats are against drilling for oil, natural gas is only found by drilling for oil, tidal isn’t even close, ethanol and biofuels are one in the same (little redundant of Obama) and they are ineffective and have been causing skyrocketing food prices and starvation in countries that we export corn to…. I have seen little written on Obama’s Energy policy, but voters really need to be aware of its implications. Rather than a job-creating, revenue generating enterprise, he wants to turn the energy industry into a federally subsidized theme park. If developed correctly, growth in the energy sector could provide the same type of impetuous that WWII industrialization provided in freeing us from the long-term recession created by FDR’s Great Society. While it seems that everyone, including Mr. Obama, is in agreement that we need more nuclear power plants, his energy plan consists of sinking an incredible amount of tax money into energy solutions that will not support the investment. This sort of construction will require an entire revitalization of our infrastructure; foundries, machinery, heavy equipment and on and on. Here’s the proof that Obama’s solar initiative is a waste. The power density of sunlight is about 1.4 kW/square Meter.

The future largest solar power plant planned will be in Deming NM. It will be 3200 Acres (5-square miles) and produce 300 MW or 300 MW x 8hrs (only works in sunlight) x 320days = 770 GWatt-hrs./yr.

Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station sits on 4,000 acres, a large amount of which is unused. So the size is about the same as the Deming Solar plant. PVNGS produces about 4,000 MW, or 4,000 MW x 24 hrs x 320days = 30,000 GWatt-hrs./yr.
If we normalize to an 8 hour days due to the limitations of solar, a solar plant would have to be in the neighborhood of thirteen times the size of a nuclear plant to deliver the same power during daylight hours on a clear day AND we would still need a power source of comparable size for the remaining 16 hours each day. As you can see, even if we can increase the efficiency up to 100%, solar just can’t do the job on a large scale. This doesn’t even address the environmental impact of the loss of sunlight on the surface of the earth.
