You know I hear and read all the time how cool, calm and collected…the “Messiah of Islam†is and how citizens think these are great attributes in a leader, but I have another image that I‘d like to share with you!
I think back to a documentary I saw on the dictator Saddam Hussein after he first came into power in Iraq. You may remember seeing it yourself.
He had called the leaders of all Iraqi parties into the auditorium where they originally met to conduct business, much like our Congress and our Capital.
Once they were assembled, he had armed guards stationed at all the doors and more of his armed militia scattered throughout the auditorium. He methodically then called out all who had spoken out against him…one by one…he called their name and…one by one…they were dragged out by armed guards and shot!
Saddam sat there cool, calm and collected smoking a cigar and looking at these men who stood against him with hatred in his heart and revenge on his mind.. Many of them now knew what was to befall them…many of them with tears rolling down their cheeks and fear on their faces because they knew it was only a matter of time until their name was called!
It went on until all those who had opposed him were gone…literally gone!
All this time, America, he sat there calm, cool and collected with all the hatred and evil that could be manifested in one life…cool…calm…and collected.
That documentary, America, was the saddest thing I have ever witnessed to date. Grown men who had spoken up for freedoms and independence were now being systematically murdered by the very man they had spoken against.
America, cool, calm and collected is not only a sign of peace…but can be a sign of evil and revenge…just waiting to be unleashed!

The Democrats have had control over both houses of congress for the last two years and have done nothing. Prior to that, they managed to block any meaningful reform proposed this administration including oversight of Freddie and Fannie. Congress voted overwhelmingly to go to war including many democrats not to mention Gen. Powell (who is an Obama supporter and made the case for it at the UN). Spend about ten seconds looking into what Fannie and Freddie were doing and who was pushing it and you will find Democrats fingerprints all over this mess financially. In addition, take a minute and speak to those working on/for Wall Street and ask them how many folks are holding back or pulling out of the markets for fear of an Obama victory. They dont want the sh@t taxed out of their money so they put it elsewhere for now. You help the poor by creating jobs. You create jobs by helping business. You help business by lowering taxes and making it more attractive for them to come or stay in the United States. Bush doesnt move business out of our country, businesses do because Unions have driven up our cost to manufacture, environmentalists have made it impossible to do anything and taxes are too high. Giving others money is welfare. That money is not the governments, it is the peoples. Taxing others to give to others is socialism. Help the poor by creating jobs, not by giving them a handout. From the news today – The Republican Gov of Hawaii has officially sealed the birth records of Obama and will not release them to anyone other than Obama or his legal agent.

Suppose that every day, ten men go out for beer and the bill for all ten comes to $100. If they paid their bill the way we pay our taxes, it would go something like this:
The first four men (the poorest) would pay nothing.
The fifth would pay $1.
The sixth would pay $3.
The seventh would pay $7.
The eighth would pay $12.
The ninth would pay $18.
The tenth man (the richest) would pay $59.
So, that’s what they decided to do.

What exactly about the questions were not fair or valid regarding Obama’s plans to “spread the wealth around”? Don’t you think knowing a candidate’s ideology is crucial for the voter? This is altogether different from having a safety net for the less fortunate, which we already have in the way of welfare, food stamps, rent subsidies, medicaid etc. This is about taking more from those who’ve worked hard to succeed and funneling it to others just to balance out the amount of wealth for everyone. I actually changed my mind about voting for Barack Obama after this weekend. As much as I like the idea of Barack Obama I have to admit that he is starting to wear off me. It’s sort of like rooting for a football team that is not from your hometown and then when they win the superbowl you start wishing they had not. This is more serious and I think I finally have my head on straight. I’m 32 but I have a good amount of money tied up in the market. I trust our system. What goes up must come down and visa-versa. However, if Obama raises capital gains taxes that doesn’t come down. I’m still struggling but nothing Barack Obama offers is going to hep me. I can’t imagine I’m the only person who suddenly realizes this in the next week.

I live in Delaware. Joe Biden works the angles better than anyone. The question about his family benefiting from Biden’s 36 years as our Senator did not go far enough. First, his son Beau was a named partner in a firm called Biffeato Gentilotti and Biden. In the past several years, this firm has had an enormous influx of asbestos cases all of which were referred to the firm by another prominent lawfirm with ties to the Democratic Party. In the last several years, these suits have been filed in Delaware becuase it is the corporate home for the the defendants. Funny how Joe Biden’s kid’s lawfirm is the beneficiary of all of this work. Secondly, Biden’s other son was a lobbyist in DC at another firm up until the beginning of this year. He left that job and started work as a hedge fund manager. He is now being sued by the investors who say he was clueless in how to run a fund. The lawsuit charges that Biden’s son was placed in charge of the fund- where he earned $1.2 million per year, just so Biden would not have to deal with claims that his son was a lobbyist during this camapign. Thirdly, the Washington Times story is correct. The same story ran in the Wilmington papaers and I saw no denial by Biden of the fact that his campaign paid $2 million dollars to “vendors” all of whom were related to his family. Fourth, how does a US Senator earning $165 k a year witha school teacher wife afford a $3 million dollar home in the leafy community name, appropriately enough, Greenville? I think common sense tells you where the money comes from for this lifestyle. Fifth, Biden has been an advocate for Delaare’s credit card industry for years. He opposed hs own party’s opposition to the Republican led efforts to change the bankruptcy laws so as to make it more difficult for the “common man” to file Chapter 11 and get rid of credit card debt. So, all of this pontificating by Biden that he is fighting for the common man is just a lie. And finally, if there was ever any question about how Joe Biden is the consummate angler, Americans should be aware that this is a guy whose son was employed by MBNA- then one of the largest credit card companies i the US, while he was handling the bankruptcy legislation and he was involved in personal real estate transcations with an MBNA executive to sell his home to the executive for nearly $1 million dollars more than he paid for it only several years earlier. All of these clowns, Obama included with his Tony Rezko, are snake oil salesmen.

Main ideas
The main ideas to come out of Marx and Engels’ collective works include:
* Exploitation: Marx refers to the exploitation of an entire segment or class of society by another. He sees it as being an inherent feature and key element of capitalism and free markets. The profit gained by the capitalist is the difference between the value of the product made by the worker and the actual wage that the worker receives; in other words, capitalism functions on the basis of paying workers less than the full value of their labour, in order to enable the capitalist class to turn a profit. This profit is not however moderated in terms of risk vs. return.
* Alienation: Marx refers to the alienation of people from aspects of their “human nature” (”Gattungswesen”, usually translated as ’species-essence’ or ’species-being’). He believes that alienation is a systematic result of capitalism. Under capitalism, the fruits of production belong to the employers, who expropriate the surplus created by others and in so doing generate alienated labour.[6] Alienation describes objective features of a person’s situation in capitalism – it isn’t necessary for them to believe or feel that they are alienated.
* Base and superstructure: Marx and Engels use the “base-structure†metaphor to explain the idea that the totality of relations among people with regard to “the social production of their existence†forms the economic basis, on which arises a superstructure of political and legal institutions. To the base corresponds the social consciousness which includes religious, philosophical, and other main ideas. The base conditions both, the superstructure and the social consciousness. A conflict between the development of material productive forces and the relations of production causes social revolutions, and the resulting change in the economic basis will sooner or later lead to the transformation of the superstructure.[7] For Marx, though, this relationship is not a one way process – it is reflexive; the base determines the superstructure in the first instance and remains the foundation of a form of social organization which then can act again upon both parts of the base-structure metaphor.[citation needed] The relationship between superstructure and base is considered to be a dialectical one, not a distinction between actual entities “in the world”.[citation needed]
* Class consciousness: Class consciousness refers to the awareness, both of itself and of the social world around it, that a social class possess, and its capacity to act in its own rational interests based on this awareness. Thus class consciousness must be attained before the class may mount a successful revolution. Other methods of revolutionary action have been developed however, such as vanguardism.
* Ideology: Without offering a general definition for ideology[8], Marx on several instances has used the term to designate the production of images of social reality. According to Engels, “ideology is a process accomplished by the so-called thinker consciously, it is true, but with a false consciousness. The real motive forces impelling him remain unknown to him; otherwise it simply would not be an ideological process. Hence he imagines false or seeming motive forcesâ€.[9] Because the ruling class controls the society’s means of production, the superstructure of society, as well as its ruling ideas, will be determined according to what is in the ruling class’s best interests. As Marx said famously in The German Ideology, “the ideas of the ruling class are in every epoch the ruling ideas, i.e. the class which is the ruling material force of society, is at the same time its ruling intellectual forceâ€.[10] Therefore the ideology of a society is of enormous importance since it confuses the alienated groups and can create false consciousness such as commodity fetishism (perceiving labor as capital ~ a degradation of human life).[citation needed]
* Historical materialism: Historical materialism was first articulated by Marx, although he himself never used the term. It looks for the causes of developments and changes in human societies in the way in which humans collectively make the means to life, thus giving an emphasis, through economic analysis, to everything that co-exists with the economic base of society (e.g. social classes, political structures, ideologies).
* Political economy: The term “political economy” originally meant the study of the conditions under which production was organized in the nation-states of the new-born capitalist system. Political economy, then, studies the mechanism of human activity in organizing material, and the mechanism of distributing the surplus or deficit that is the result of that activity. Political economy studies the means of production, specifically capital, and how this manifests itself in economic activity.

Marx believed that the identity of a social class is derived from its relationship to the means of production (as opposed to the notion that class is determined by wealth alone, i.e., lower class, middle class, upper class).
Marx describes several social classes in capitalist societies, including primarily:

Marx predicted that the petit bourgeoisie would eventually be destroyed by the constant reinvention of the means of production and the result of this would be the forced movement of the vast majority of the petit bourgeoisie to the proletariat.
Marx also identified various other classes such as:
* The lumpenproletariat: criminals, vagabonds, beggars, etc. People that have no stake in the economic system and will sell themselves to the highest bidder.
* The landlords: a class of people that were historically important, of which some still retain some of their wealth and power.
* The peasantry and farmers: this class he saw as disorganized and incapable of carrying out change. He also believed that this class would disappear, with most becoming proletariat but some becoming landowners.

It’s very sick and sad at how much joy you take at seeing people you don’t agree with experience pain. If you read the overwhelming majority of these posts you’ll see the conservattives expressing fear for what an Obama administration will mean for the country. You don’t see us saying how bad it will be for us personally, but for everybody (that includes you). On the other hand, most liberal posts express this mean spirted wishing to see those they disagree with caused pain. Most of the concerns that are being voice here are legitimate. You have the right to disagree with what we think will happen, but I truly fail to see why you get joy at the mere prospect of our preferred canidate losing. If we’re right you will be affected too, if we’re wrong then we’ll all be happy. Like I said before…this isn’t American Idol to conservatives. If our canidate loses and things work out well anyhow we won’t be mad or sad. With that being said, I get the feeling that if McCain wins and things improve you’ll still be angry.

It is not so much that it will be a Dem controlled Congress but a magic 60 controlled Congress. I would not want either party to have that much power. Quite frankly it it Both parties that has gotten us into this mess and neither party seems interested or seems to have ability to get us out. Joe Biden denied that his familiy members got any of the money that was paid to the companies that they work at. But does anyone here think that he would say that they did get their hands wet to be chosen to provide the services? If it were only one company, only one family member, MAYBE, but it was NOT just one. Just too much coincidence.
But the point here is not even whether Joe Biden was “helping” his family members or not. Those companies did get the money and his family members do work for or have strong ties to thes companies. The reporters asked LEGITIMATE questions. Despite that, this TV station, like the one Orlando that also asked some tough questions, was also BANNED from the Obama/Biden ticket list of TV stations that are in tank for the Democrats and deserve an interview.
And for the libs or the common people that are high on the Messiah’s special Kool-aid enough to think that this economic crisis is all Bush’s fault, and can only recommend some research to find out about Bush’s requests (yes, more than once) that Congress did something about Fannie and Freddie, to McCain’s warmnings about those companies, and about how the democrats ignored everything so that they could keep taking money from Fannie and Freddie and could keep pressuring them to give away home loans to people who obviously couldn’t afford to pay back.
I also recommend that they watch the videos on the internet of the democrats defending Fannie and Freddie from any attempt to fix the mess that they were getting into.
Of special interest to people, who think that the “white” Republicans have put us into this mess, should be this video of a Fannie May CEO giving a speech, in 2005, at the Democratic Congressional Black Caucus, which included their Messiah of doom and even identified him by name.
The Fannie CEO says that the Black Caucus (and I am sure the white dems too) are Fannie’s friends, family and conscience. He also admits that his company had come upon difficult times and he was counting on their (dems) for help.
And “help” they did. They kept the government from doing anything to control them until Fannie and Freddie imploded the economic crisis finally exploded.

Over the last week, McCain have Palin have had continued to pull the race card by having the woman claim she was attacked by a “black man†and carve a “B†on her face and in Hollywood they had someone hang a Sara Palin dummy (course its hard to tell the difference) up in a lynch pose. Both of these McCain tactics were meant to race bait and bring discredit to President Obama. Both Obama and Biden will gladly answer fair valid questions.
