What does the camera footage from the ATM camera show? What does the camera footage from the security cameras show? Why were no photos taken by the police? It seems odd that that they would not want to document the victim’s statement.

At first, I was enraged-when first read on Drudge.
Then I looked at a comment on Little Green Footballs-it saying to look at Hot Air, and the possibility of this being a hoax….went there and saw her face-noticeing her skin wasn’t broken.
What did the guy do? sit over her and etch that backwards B on her cheek….that would have taken some time to do.

I’ll admit the “B” does raise some questions. However, I find highly unlikely that she gave herself a black eye..Plus, in my hometown…going to the ATM.. pretty much at any hour of the day, is like entering into a war zone. The stakes are pretty high that you will get robbed at an ATM machine..and by a black person…..Same thing going to the parking garage after work. We’re all sort of used to it. That’s why I carry a gun in my purse. We have a black mayor, a black assistant chief, black congress people, black campus police chief, black assistant DA..obviously they think this is the norm…And I can assure you..it wasn’t always like this. Of course, hoaxes like this are typical of the Rove style of politics McCain has been forced to use by his lobbyist campaign staff. They think it is an effective way to campaign with the little money they have left. But the tracking poles show McCain is now in dramatic decline.

McCain should have gotten a decent campaign staff and run an honorable campaign. He probably would have still lost, but at least he would have then gone down with honor.

PITTSBURGH (AP) – Pittsburgh police say a McCain campaign volunteer who said she was held down by a black man who cut the letter “B” in her face has changed her story.
Police spokeswoman Diane Richard says investigators gave the 20-year-old woman a lie-detector test and are “looking at some inconsistencies” in her story.

The student, Ashley Todd, of College Station, Texas, initially said a black man robbed her at knifepoint Wednesday night and then cut her cheek after seeing a McCain sticker on her car.

Police say bank surveillance footage doesn’t show her at an ATM where she says she was attacked.

Todd, who is white, now says she was knocked unconscious and doesn’t remember being cut. She now says she only discovered the wound later.

No arrests have been made.
