McCain: ‘Obama Won’t Have the Right Response’ to Crisis
John McCain slams Joe Biden's remark that, if elected, Barack Obama would be tested in an international crisis, saying he knows Obama is not ready for the presidency.
He already showed America he has what it takes to face a crisis.
As opposed to your scattered irratic fumblings for 10 days when wall Street melted down, he was smart, steady and calming.

I cast my vote last week for President Elect McCain because he is the leader I want in any crisis!
He has over 22 yrs of military experience, 5 1/2 of those were as a POW of the Viet Cong and over 23 yrs as a legislator in Washington.
He has what it takes! He will bring honor, integrity and know-how to bring about the changes that America so deperately needs and wants in this difficult hour!
He will cut spending, cut taxes, and stop all the pork barrel in Washington. He has only our best interests at heart and he will always put country first.
Join with me and the millions and millions of the other “silent majority” that are casting their vote for the continuance of our democracy and freedoms by electing President Elect McCain and Vice President Elect Palin as our new leaders.
GOD BLESS AMERICA THE LAND OF THE FREE AND THE HOME OF THE BRAVE…MAY OUR GOD CONTINUE TO BLESS HER!
VOTER REVOLUTION HERE AND NOW!

Let’s see…Mr. McCain appoints Sarah Palin as a potential replacement for the Presidency and thinks that someone ELSE is “unprepared” to handle a crisis? Sorry, John, you lost that argument when you did not vet her properly. Now you are stuck with her and the “experience” argument against Obama falls flat.
If you live in a glass house, don’t throw stones.

The influence of the Vice President in this role depends almost entirely on the characteristics of the particular administration. Vice President Cheney, for instance, is widely regarded as one of President George W. Bush’s closest confidants. Al Gore was an important adviser to President Bill Clinton on matters of foreign policy and the environment. Often, Vice Presidents will take harder-line stands on issues to ensure the support of the party’s base while deflecting partisan criticism away from the President

no Mark, come back here 3 days into the International CRISIS and lets see what your guy has done by that time. I doubt any of us will be laughing!
mark my words it wont be apparent that the response is the right one, if he has even made a move by then.

moose shooter,
It’s hard to imagine Mr. Obama being worse than the present group that we have in the White House. Not only are they unable to handle a crisis; they manage to go out and CREATE them.

Does having served 139 days as a senator qualify someone to be President? It is more qualified than having served 2 years as a governor?
interesting……..but then Mccain knows something that some people who haven’t done their homework don’t. It was reported, I believe Sunday that the FBI is ALREADY vetting all potential campaign members of EITHER candidate to make sure their security credentials are capable of handling an international crisis. It was reported in London, oh about 10 days ago by a member of parliament who happens to be on the foreign relations committee that there was something “VERY BIG” in the works, and a lot of increased chatter about an attack between Nov and Jan. Biden SITS on the Foreign Relations Committee- could it be that someone may have had a briefing and was stating his fears ahead of time because he thought he wasn’t being taped? Entertain the thought of how easy it would be for terrorists to get suitcase bombs into major Us cities and hold us hostage…especially with a president who has stated that he woudl sit down with Iran and by the way it is just a tiny little country who poses no threat to us. Let’s just remember that Obamacorn was born to a muslim father and a mother who was part of the communist party. The saying is, I believe that the ACORN doesn’t fall far from the tree. Perhaps Obama’s goal is to let terrorists come in the US because he himself believes in their cause? Biden is privy to info about all kinds of security issues, why would he make such a serious gaffe at this point in the game? I don’t buy the supposed fact that he wasn’t aware the media was there- the media is ALWAYS there. I think he intentionally said it, because he himself has worries . I also believe that if Iran blew Israel off the map. Obama who was educated as a muslim in Indonesia wouldn’t lift a finger.

Clinton mishandling of the first attack on the twin towers and lack of responses to the attack on the USS Cole lead us to where we are today, having to take the fight to the aggressors.

moose shooter,
The Cole was bombed on October 12, 2000 and Clinton had 110 days to respond before leaving office. During that time frame it had not been clearly established who was responsible for the attack. Al Qaeda was thought to be the culprit but definitive proof was lacking. There are still many unanswered questions about this case.
By the way, assuming that we DID know that al Qaeda was responsible for the Cole bombing, why didn’t Mr. Bush do anything about it? He was in office for 234 days before 9-11 yet we had no response. Was this Clinton’s fault, too?
Ooops!

“SOCIALISM KILLS THE HUMAN SPIRIT!!!”
But it keeps the corporate spectre alive. Go figure.
Oh, and Eileen, you left out: “He will cut spending, cut taxes” AND fix the deficit! John McCain is the true messiah!!!
anyone who seriously thinks American Jews will vote a muslim who was educated in a madrassa in Indonesia into office-yeah, they need to take a serious unbiased look at Florida. There has been a seven point swing in Florida in one week-now MCcain is ahead. We have many friends there and they are seeing lots and lots of pictures of Obama dressed in muslim clothing attending a madrassa. These pictures and documentaries are EVERYWHERE. Jewish people also love their money and don’t want their taxes raised and the wealth they earned re-distributed to lazy a$$es who can’t put the crack pipe down and stop having kids.I’m black myself, grew up in a very, very bad neighborhood to a single mom. She worked her ass off, and even though I had some trouble as a teen, I pulled myself up out of the ghetto even with a learning disablity, joined the military, went to college and managed to buy my own business. I don’t need or want a hand out from anyone any those who think they can fix poverty with government handouts are only enslaving the poor to the federal government.
You mean he won’t declare there is a problem, then declare there IS a problem two hours later, do nothing for ten days, then all of a sudden announce he is suspending everything else he is doing to immediately fly back to Washington, cancel an appearance with David Letterman, then go sit in Katie Couric’s studio and have make-up plastered on (like a trollop) and do an interview to clear up some inane crap his Vice President said to Katie earlier, spend the night in New York, spend the morning in New York, finally return to Washington that afternoon and attend a meeting in the White House regarding the crisis where he says absolutely nothing constructive?

Hey, when are you people goin to stop all this trash talk on my runnin mate? I know he’s an old grumpy gimp but he’s catapulted me onto the national scene and we all know I never would have been noticed up there in Alaska, you betcha, and now I have all these keen new clothes and I didn’t have to try and cook the Alaska books to hide them either. Those wonderful RNC people just bought them for me and Todd and the girls.
So quit pickin on us or when I’m elected to president of the senate, I’ll overrule all of your laws and have you thrown out of the country.
S.Palin, future V.P. and ruler.

The Dems and Obama will handle any crisis just like they did after 9/11 when liberal Democrat actor Richard Gere got up before an audience of police and firemen and told them we need to show compassion and understanding to the people who just murdered 3000 Americans in New York. He was booed off the stage as he should have been. This is the way Democrats handle that kind of crisis – blame America first.

Mister- admittedly know nothing, kneejerk temper, insulting women and the American voter with YP pic–must be reminded that he BROKE in 3 days @ THE HANOI HILTON AND MADE OVER 30 TAPES– HAS NOT HAD A CONSISTANT PLAN FOR ANY THING THE ENTIRE CAMPAIGN–rushed to DC to fix the economy and ended up blowing it!!!
He is neither calm, thinking or honorable….He was never a leader and has no experience except to blow things up…
The world does not trust him but low info- willfully ignorant voters do…What does that tell you…His base is the same as Hillery’s—How did that work for her???

Mark my words….within 6 months of an
Obama presidency, this country will be at war with each other and Pelosi, Dodd, Shumer, and the rest of the idiots that got us in this mess will all be in hiding. After the 9′11 attack, you would think Americans would have better common sense than to fll for Obamacorn’s rhetoic. Nobody bothers to question all the things that have been brought up about Obama. You Dems all say Palin isn’t qualified? SHE ISN’T AT THE TOP OF THE TICKET LIKE “PRESENT” OBAMACORN IS! And he is a few bricks shy of a full load of sh**. HELLLLOOOOOOOOO!
FAREWELL AMERICA… Thanks for the memories.

He’s still as unconvincing as ever, and he falls down on the two main crises enabled by the republican party: the two wars and the economy.
America has to cut back, regroup and invest. All the big talk about Russia and Iran doesn’t mean anything. It’s rabble-rousing. I do not see any idea of how he intends to realistically handle the powder kegs of Pakistan and Iran. And who could offer the better advice in your opinion: someone that has already served years in the Middle East – Colin Powell – or Ms Palin?
Senator McCain was a poor choice as a candidate, despite his qualities as a man.
