Nothing Obama has said during the Campaign amounts to Marxism. In fact you do know that because Bush effectively nationalized the banks and has guaranteed basically all debts that that action could be considered socialism (what you simpletons would call Marxism). So is Bush and the republican party now Marxist? They nationalized the banks. Your candidate is going to pay face value to buy up mortgages. $300 billion in cash to buy up homes. I’m certainly interested in knowing what Bill Ayers saw in Obama to host his first campaign event. Iinterested but it appears no one in the media is willing to allow me to have it. Come to think of it, that’s kind of marxist itself.

Since not everyone is going to sit through a six minute video, can someone summarize this and indicate things such as the event being referred to?

What kind of propagandist BS is this. What does this have to do with Obama??? Our prisons are filled with non violent drug offenders. It cost more to keep them in prison than to pay for a college education. The only difference is the ability to hire proper representation. It’s no secret! Crack and cocaine have much different sentences, why because of racist laws. Who cares about Bill ayres??? What about all the Republicans on the board???? Are they invisible???? This entire tape, in its attempt to connect Ayers philosophically with Obama, is pure style and virtually no substance, at least in making this connection as to their respective ideas. Anyone who has the patience to listen through the entire dribble will see how absurd the attempt at making this film’s point is.

Fact is, there are problems in our country and anyone wanting to whitewash this fact, or anyone who thinks exposing it (so that those in a position to attempt a cure can do so) is unpatriotic doesn’t know what true patriotism is. Patriotism doesn’t mean that if your country has weaknesses you should ignore them, it means (in the case of the U.S.) America-love it or improve it.

Obama is far more centrist than McCain and certainly far more so than Ayers, who represents an extreme leftist point of view.

Some of Ayers observations have truth to them; it’s the methods he choses to address the problem that are problematic, even illegal. Obama NEVER agreed with his methods or the extreme conclusions Ayers has drawn, even if recognition of some of the problems overlap, as they would with any politically aware American.

It seems that many of those commenting here didn’t really view the piece and simply use these forums to espouse foolish ideas and thoughtless demogogary.

If Ayers isn,t an active KGB operative, he along with Obama are high on their list of “useful idiots”. In a 1985 interview with KGB defector Yuri Beznemov, he explains the 4 stages of the coming Marxist domination of the world. The first stage of “demoralization” was already completed at the time of the interview. Obama and Ayers are major players in the second stage of “destabilization” through their community activist programs. We may have just begun the third stage of “crisis” with the recently contrived mortgage meltdown and ensuing global banking crisis. Why is law racist between cocaine and crack? Are black people only allowed to smoke crack and not allowed cocaine. It would seem to me that the more intelligent drug user would go with the drug with the lighter sentence.

Laws are rules and the “punishment” is designed as a deterrent not to break said rules; therefore, if it is no secret that crack and cocaine have much different sentences then it is impossible for said laws to be racist.

Ayers has been the darling of the Chicago education establishment (all of whom send their kids to private schools,) for years. He, with the help of Obama and hundreds of millions of dollars, have made Chicago schools what the are today: dangerous, drug-riddled diploma mills that produce nothing but misery, when they produce anything at all.
Obama and Ayers are the architects of the anarchy that is the Chicago Public School system. Obama used to tout this “accomplishment” when he was running for State Senator. Now, if you wish to keep revisiting the past then let’s look at McCain’s failure as a “hero” when he “confessed” in Viet Nam and when he allowed his captors to “discover” that he was the son of an Admiral, why do you think they called him “The Prince” What about his cheating behavior over and over again? Why not ask some of his fellow prisoners at the Hanoi Hilton about his bravery as opposed to the bravery of the other 599 POW’s. All we ever hear about is John McCain’s medals and bravery. Those eight years of Bill Clinton must have been rougher on you than most.

Now, McCain being elected was my worst nightmare- I wasn’t sure I didn’t prefer Hillary, which was a realization that shocked me- yet it became clear Obama was a Marxist, and I have a particularly strong disliking of Marxism. I’ve seen its effects up close and personal. I’ve listened to a Marxist guerrilla with only a hint of shame state that he would kill his own mother to further the cause. I’ve seen people killed and maimed to further their propaganda, and I’ve seen the media follow up their actions in glowing terms, very rarely even hinting at their ideology. I get the same reports back from friends and associates in other jungles, deserts, and everything in between all around the world. At least when America jumps into Marxism with both feet it will be peacefully. Maybe if we’d known it would go this way a few of my friends would still be around, but then they would have been much less interesting, I’m sure.

Read the book “BAT 21.” When LTC Iceal Hambleton was shot down in 1972, the NVA knew he was a former SAC targeting officer. That’s how good the Intell people are. One look at McCain’s dogtags and they knew who he was.

In terms of McCain’s conduct read the book “POW: The American Prisoner of War Experience in Vietnam” Note it was written in 1976, when McCain was still in the Navy after his release. No politcs in that book. Read and understand what went on.

After you are finished without regard to his current politics, you will want to write McCain and thank him for his service and his sacrifice.

Nothing about Obama has been of large consequence except for the fact that the majority of the country supports his candidacy for Presidency and that he will become the next President of the United States.

If all that you have about Obama is these loose, close, or whatever associations you might want to raise, then he is in pretty good shape. In other words your “smoking guns” are pathetic!

Does John McCain “pal around with terrorists?”

Certainly McCain’s continuing “association” and relationship with convicted Watergate burglar and domestic terrorist G. Gordon Liddy might suggest that is the case, if we are to apply the standards drawn by the McCain campaign.

In 1998, Liddy gave a fundraiser in his Scottsdale, Ariz., home for McCain’s senatorial re-election campaign—the two posed for photographs together; and as recently as May 2007, as a presidential candidate, McCain was a guest on Liddy’s syndicated radio show. Inexplicably, McCain heaped praise on his host’s values. During the segment, McCain said he was “proud” of Liddy and praised Liddy’s “adherence to the principles and philosophies that keep our nation great.” From the program:

Liddy: Your experience in the Hanoi Hilton is remarkable. I mean, I put in five years in a prison (for masterminding the Watergate burglary, and associated crimes), but it was here in the United States, and they didn’t torture—the only torture that I had was being forced to listen to rap music from time to time.

McCain: Well, you know, I’m proud of you. I’m proud of your family. I’m proud to know your son, Tom, who’s a great and wonderful guy. And it’s always a pleasure for me to come on your program, Gordon. And congratulations on your continued success and adherence to the principles and philosophies that keep our nation great.

Which of Liddy’s “principles and philosophies” was McCain referring to? Liddy’s advocacy of break-ins? Firebombings? Assassinations? Kidnappings? Taking target practice with figures nicknamed Bill and Hillary?

During the same period that Bill Ayers was a member of the Weather Underground, Gordon Liddy was making plans to firebomb a Washington think tank, assassinate a prominent journalist, undertake the Watergate burglary, break into the office of Daniel Ellsberg’s psychiatrist, and kidnap anti-war protesters at the 1972 Republican convention.

Re: Liddy’s “continued success and adherence to the principles and philosophies that keep our nation great:” Did McCain mean to include Liddy’s instructions to listeners of his radio show in 1994 (around the time Ayers and Obama were on a board together discussing education programs and other plots) on how to shoot Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms agents (aim for the head)?

If ATF agents attempt to curtail a citizen’s gun ownership, Liddy counseled, “Well, if the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms comes to disarm you and they are bearing arms, resist them with arms. Go for a head shot; they’re going to be wearing bulletproof vests.”

More recently, Liddy explained making the Clintons objects of shooting practice: “I did relate that on the Fourth of July of last year, when I and my family and some friends were out firing away at a properly constructed rifle range and we ran out of targets, and so we—I drew some stick figure targets and I thought we ought to give them names. So I named them Bill and Hillary, thought it might improve my aim. It didn’t. My aim is good anyway. Now, having said that, I accept no responsibility for somebody shooting up the White House.”

The Liddy-McCain symbiosis has been mentioned in a number of posts on the Internet—mostly by bloggers and sites identified with the Left. But the documentation of their interaction (Liddy has also contributed financially to McCain’s presidential campaign) is not a matter of Left or Right: It is astonishing that, given the prominence of the Ayers matter accorded by virtually every “mainstream” news outlet in America, there has been virtually nothing on the subject in the major newspapers and broadcast networks. This is a REAL journalistic failure and ABROGATION of responsibility.

Is Liddy any LESS a domestic terrorist than Bill Ayers? It is a zero-sum argument, for sure. I do not believe, incidentally, that John McCain shares the most abhorrent of Liddy’s values, as expressed in Liddy’s actions during the same period that Ayers was a Weatherman—AND which Liddy CONTINUES to express, unapologetically, toTHIS day.

But McCain has now become SO UNMOORED from the principles he once espoused, so shameless in his courtship not only of the Republican “base” but in his eagerness to unleash a poisonous arsenal of character assassination and guilt by association—and plain and simple incitement of people’s fears and prejudices—that, now, inevitably his and Sarah Palin’s rallies and campaign events have taken on the aura of mobs at times.

“Kill him,” a man in the crowd responded last week, when Palin declared—yet again—“He’s palling around with terrorists who would target their own country.” In Virginia, the state Republican chairman announced a set of talking points to campaign volunteers—stressing the incendiary connection, reported Time magazine, between Barack Obama and Osama bin Laden: “Both have friends that bombed the Pentagon. That is scary,” the Republican chairman[Jeff Fredericks] ,said..

The intended message of the McCain campaign is, of course, that Obama is less than patriotic—enunciated even by the candidate’s wife, Cindy: “The day that Senator Obama decided to cast a vote to not fund my son when he was serving sent a cold chill through my body,” she recently told a crowd of several thousand, which also heard her husband and Palin sound similar notes. Nor did Cindy McCain mention that her husband, TOO, voted AGAINST the troop-funding bill—in the version that contained withdrawal language.

Thus has John McCain embarked on a scorched-earth death struggle for the presidency—cultural warfare that knows no bounds, exceeding perhaps even the mendacity and ferocity of the campaign waged against him by George Bush in 2000, and of which McCain once said there was “a special place in hell” for the Bush operatives who smeared him. (McCain also said of the Swift boat attacks against John Kerry by Republicans in 2004: “I deplore this kind of politics. I think the ad is dishonest and dishonorable.”)

The lethal weapon of the McCain campaign’s dreams is the explosive allegation that, in Palin’s words—Obama “pals around with terrorists.” McCain, wisely, did not raise the matter himself in the last presidential debate. Why?

At the time, much of the commentariat attributed the omission to McCain’s purported concerns that Obama would respond by reciting the history of McCain’s “association” with the S&L;swindler Charles Keating, for which McCain was cited by the Senate Ethics Committee early in his career, for exercising “poor judgment” for intervening improperly with federal regulators on behalf of Keating, as part of the infamous Keating Five scandal.

But the more likely explanation of why McCain avoided a debate confrontation about “palling around with terrorists” is McCain’s very real—and recent—symbiotic association and praise for another (not Ayers) domestic terrorist emblematic of the Vietnam era: G. William Ayers should be in prison. He should have been put to trial, tried, convicted and sentenced to at least life. We could be willing to sacrifice an interest with The State for a death penalty and found it adequate to sentence the said William Ayers to life in prison without the possibility for parole.

William Ayers should be in a cell right now. In prison were he deserves to be for his crimes against humanity until his natural death.

You work 4 months a year to pay interest on the national debt – and who gets your 4 months salaries? Not the government, but the same private bankers who control the Federal Reserve (which, by the way is no more “Federal” than Federal Express). Thanks to your savior, George Bush and his successor, John McCain, your children can also look forward to working half their lives to “save” Wall-Street elites. Unfortunately, Obama works for the same masters so he won’t be your savior either. Bill Ayers a terrorists? I never heard of him until recently, but from what I’ve read so far, he appears to be more of a patriot than a terrorist. You may recall that the Americans who rebelled against rule by the British Empire were considered “terrorist” at the time. American Indians who killed to protect their land were considered terrorist by the people who tried to take it. The Irish Republican Army was considered terrorist. The definition of a “terrorist” depends on which side of the fence you’re sitting on. Many people consider the US to be a terrorist nation and if the definition of terrorism was based on the number of people killed, they’d be right. Consider the possibility that your government just may NOT always be right. I don’t know about you, but I’d rather have ridden a bicycle to work every day for the rest of my life than to have even one American soldier die for the oil to keep my minivan running.
