Oh, Pu-lease!

Grow a brain you nut-job. Koppel, you are such a turd-burglar! Racism DOES exist… but not where you place claim it does. YOU, and Barrack Hussein Obama are real racists. You both want it to appear as a problem with the purpose of wresting power of the country’s wealth to fund your socialist programs.

Use your own money Teddy Bear, because I will die clutching my money before I give it to you worthless bastards, to waste on the idle losers of society.

AM A RACIST! At least I am according to the Democrats’ standards for that
term.

I am a racist because I question a candidate’s lack of experience in foreign
policy, economics, military strategy, border security, health care,
education and
social security.

I am a racist because I question a candidate’s connection to a domestic
terrorist.

I am a racist because I question a candidate’s connection to an indicted
slum lord.

I am a racist because I question a candidate’s hiring of political
advisers who
made a fortune defrauding hard working taxpayers.

I am a racist because I question a candidate’s twenty-year affiliation
with an
America-hating, radical.

I am a racist because I question a candidate’s ties to an organization that
intentionally commits voter fraud.

I am a racist because I question a candidate’s lack of morals, ethics and
character.

Apparently, I am a racist because I will continue to ask these questions
of a
candidate who believes he should be the next President of the United States!

I am troubled by these types of statements by newcasters such as Mr. Koppel who bring up the racial issues in such a way as to allude to the fact that if Mr. Obama does not emerge as the winner, race MUST be the reason. If this is what the main stream meadia is now trying reason than the other train of thought that Mr. Obama only got as far as he did because he is African-American must also be true. If his race was the issue, then the other democrats running against him in the primaries should have beat him soundly. Please stop the race baiting. Most Americans feel the liberal bias but please don’t put race relations back 50 years because of your desire to win an election.

Eileen   October 13th, 2008 - 12:28 am

First of all, let me set the record straight for Mr Koppel…the Flim Flam Obamaman has himself played the race card repeatedly! He is both black and white and he has played it on both sides, although, it appears, he likes the white side of his family better!

He continually brought up that he was black in the beginning of his campaign…I don’t look like the other guys on our money, I have a funny name, etc. etc. etc.! It never stopped and continues to this day!

Secondly, I am not voting for this man and it is not because he is black because he is! And it is not because he is inexperienced because he is!

I am not voting for this man because he has anti-American friends who have repeatedly said throughout the years that would like nothing better than to see the demise of our government from within. Today, America, they are supporting the candidacy of the Flim Flam Obamaman to fulfill that goal!

That is why he will not get my vote or my support! Can you journalists even imagine that Presidents Eisenhower, Truman, Roosevelt or Reagan would have even “one” friend who wanted to destroy our government from within? No…no…no! It would have never happened.

So what happened here, America? Why is this man even a candidate for the Presidency? Why did the puppeteers of John Kerry and Ed Kennedy choose him to be the candidate? Why indeed?

Racism is alive in America…but it can be found more dominantly in the black community itself. They are the racists…just the fact that they will vote for this socialist/communistic Democrat only because he is black is blatant racism.

So stuff your racism into a trunk…it will not be going away anytime soon as long as the black community continues to endear black men/women just because they are black. I have said it before and I will say it again…if Satan himself were black, they would vote for him!

VOTER REVOLUTION HERE AND NOW!

FLIM FLAM: HE IS DECEITFUL, HE IS A FRAUD, HE IS DOUBLE-DEALING AND DOUBLE-TONGUED!

God is not a patient man   October 13th, 2008 - 12:29 am

Racism is the favorite slur of white liberals and black democrats. It is a damaging thing to call someone as it jeopardizes their reputation and career. It is far more damaging than calling some one n##gger. There has been an avalanche of usage of it and I feel it is because the left knows in hard economic times we jettison touchy feely politics for hardball make it on you own politics. Koppel just another Aclu secular Jewish gentleman.Just like Bill Mahr, Larry King, Barabara Walters, etc…etc…

hmmmm   October 13th, 2008 - 12:31 am

silversurfer   October 13th, 2008 - 12:32 am

I thought Ted Koppel was dead so I guess this is somewhat like the old adage, “if a tree falls in a forest and nobody hears, did it really fall?” Only this time it’s “if a left-wing gas bag, who people thought had died, says a bunch of tripe and nobody hears, is he still alive?”

Ted Koppel? Who cares.

chaban   October 13th, 2008 - 12:36 am

Funny how the Obama campaign has been playing the race card against anybody who gets in their way: Hillary, Bill, Geraldine Ferraro, McCain, Palin…
It’s only the beginning! Anyone who dares criticize the messiah if he becomes president will be called a racist.
But as far as I know, there is only one racist in this campaign: the guy who spent 20 years in a nazi church and whose wife can hardly hide her hate for white people.
“Oh I didn’t know about his positions… blah, blah, blah!” In 20 years? Give me a break!
No anti-semite in the White House!

JustAnotherGuy   October 13th, 2008 - 12:43 am

So it’s official. Tom Brokaw has gone from respected war correspondent to left-wing pud pulling douchebag. Yea, nice shot man. All that work just to become a tool.

BlackMan   October 13th, 2008 - 12:56 am

As a black man, I have to admit, America is a lot less racist than it’s ever been. As a young man, whenever dealing with whites, I was almost always confronted with racial slurs. My children have had no such experience. Many of my friends feel the same way.

In this overheated campaign, it’s easy to forget what a great country we live in.

God help the next president, whoever he is.

Jan. 8, 1867: Legislation giving the suffrage to blacks in the District of Columbia was passed over President Andrew Johnson’s veto

The Fifteenth Amendment (Amendment XV) of the United States Constitution prohibits each government in the United States to prevent a citizen from voting based on that citizen’s race,[1] color, or previous condition of servitude (i.e., slavery). It was ratified on February 3, 1870.

Women’s suffrage
and American women in states that had previously denied them suffrage were allowed the vote in 1920.

The Thirteenth, Fourteenth, and Fifteenth Amendments to the U.S. Constitution, collectively known as the Civil War and Reconstruction Amendments, were passed between 1865 and 1870. They outlawed slavery and extended civil rights and suffrage to U.S. citizens, including former slaves (although women would have to wait until 1920 to receive voting rights under the Nineteenth Amendment).

Appears as though women will need to wait another 50 years for equality.

dswilli   October 13th, 2008 - 1:40 am

Hey Koppel f you. Where did you make the quantum leap in logic that ANY of this is race based?

Typical White Person   October 13th, 2008 - 1:51 am

I don’t know what Ted has been smokin. Obama has gone to great lengths to call anyone that even mildly disagrees with him racist… Hillary & Bill Clinton included. He is just slick enough to have others raise the subject for him, like Rep. Lewis this week comparing McCain to George Wallace.

Obama has succeeded in playing the race card over and over. And with the media in lust with him, they will never report it that way. Sick. He has done nothing but divide the country along class and racial lines. But that is what a “community organizers” job is right? Get the people fighting against “The Man” and make a few bucks in the process!!

publius   October 13th, 2008 - 2:28 am

Folks we are in trouble. Once again Liberals, like when the media bias became an issue, and then all of a sudden only FOX NEWS was biased,Liberals are themselves racist, call me racist, then say there is racism. What an astonishing mentality. I don’t give a hoot about Barack’s skin color. He is s Socialist. I hate Socialism. IF he was a conservative, he would be getting my vote. He is not, plain and simple.
Also however, to discount voters because they are concerned with his poor judgment regarding influential people, I have a right to raise my eyebrows at his racist preacher, his terrorist associates who got him where he is, and his questionable citizenship origins. I am happy to be satisfied, and while McCain doesn’t do it for me, I will vote for him. The scope of Obama weakness is the fact that the Liberal left has successfully made this a VICE PRESIDENTIAL race. This moves the focus off our young socialist candidate. I won’t invoke words like “scary” and “God help us” blah, blah, blah. We will get what we deserve. Liberals are all too ready to march in lock-step and to silence dissidence from their ranks or opinions. They make Nazis…well, they are NAZIS. National Socialism is what they preach. National control of financial institutions, compulsory labor service corps…all great and successful parts of the NAZI ideology. “HITLER IST DER SEIG” “YES WE CAN” all are catch phrases. Good luck silent majority is you are indeed out there. You are going to lose it all, because of your timidity, laziness, and unwillingness to stand up in the marketplace of ideas and say “this is right, that is wrong.”

I miss the speeches of Dr. King, when he made it clear that unity and equality didn’t look at skin color one way or another. He desired a day when it would be a non-issue.

I’m sad for for those who would disregard the price he paid in attempts to teach this to all of us, and I believe it is precisely why Mr. Obama does not enjoy the backing of many more peaceful activists from those days.

more WHAT?   October 13th, 2008 - 2:57 am

I was at a Sarah Palin event in Philadelphia, at the Park Hyatt Hotel – late Saturday afternoon

(Oct. 11th). If you are easily grossed out by the “C” word, I am sorry. But as Andrea says below, if McCain supporters wore a shirt that said “Obama is a N*g&^r” or even “Obama is a B*stard” or “Obama is a Terrorist” at an Obama Rally, they would either be thrown off the premises, have their heads kicked in, or even be detained at the local police station (I know this for a fact: I just had on a McCain button at a recent Obama event and I didn’t think I was going to get out alive).

I hear that 90% or more of blacks are going to vote for Obama. Is that not racism? You can’t tell me that all of them are voting for him because they have carefully considered his policies.

ransomnote   October 13th, 2008 - 4:39 am

Hmmmm…..the MSN really hates it when voters say that they are not voting for or against a skin color but are instead voting for or against candidates based on what the candidates support and propose.
So, Koppel airs an audo clip of a quote from a man saying that it would be a step back for our country to vote for Barack strictly because he is black…Then, with a smug grin…Koppel explains that the person speaking is a murderous KKK member. THERE. That should teach those of us who vote color blind! Won’t THAT teach us not to evaluate character and track record?! See, if we ignore skin color we’re just like that monster KKK guy…

Dev   October 13th, 2008 - 7:12 am

I’m a democrat but I don’t hate McCain and I don’t think republicans voting for him are racists. Do racists exist? Yes they come in all colors. Reading message boards I’ve seen as many so called democrats attack McCain supporters as racist just because as Ditto said they dared to disagree or ask questions. The race card was played by the Obama camp during his run against Hillary, there is no debating that. They called Bill Clinton a racist. Now it’s their turn. Is the race getting ugly? Yes, it usually does in October.

Do I care if someone calls me a “libtard”, no it makes me laugh. I’m voting on issues that are important to me, but I also understand some people who have questions about Obama as the press seems to have ignorned those questions and now people are getting angry. Just because my “team” seems to be leading I still believe in sportsmanship. Does that even exist anymore?

Bill Bennett just said the Ayers, standing on the flag has to get “Out there.”
Hey Bill ! Wake the Hell-up! That pic has only made the circuit for only about a year now? *sigh

Smokey   October 13th, 2008 - 8:34 am

Racism – Koppel you sniveling twerp, “Barack Obama has gone to great lengths to not let racism be part of the dialog during this race for president.” What a crock, everytime someone exposes another chink in his suit of armor he or one of his minions squeals racism.

Then we have sorry white guys like you that say well he is black so let’s give him more of that latitude regarding his background. You don’t have the courage to say it outright – you just say it in a politically correct Liberal way trying to impune the oppositions character and lack of your tolerance.

It should be explained: this guy is a Marxist wearing the coat of of a Liberal, been brought up in the most politically corrupt political machine in the country, associates with known 60’s terrorists, a guy that stated he took pride in the fact he and his wife did not do enough, has a radical hate mongering minister for 20 years, relationship with an operator that has been convicted on 22 counts of corruption, ran the money distribution system for an group called ACORN, that if the government were to get off their proverbial butts and apply the RICO Act – Barack might along with other Democratic congressman and a Senator or two might even have the privilege of being indicited under the RICO Statutes.

Now that the opposition is bringing up these questions which the media should have done a long time ago when vetting Obama out for the public, however only if you were were impartial, which you aren’t. So you are being exposed as MSM puppets that favor Obama and will do anything including lying to get him elected.

claspur   October 13th, 2008 - 8:37 am

Hey Dev….

What are you wearing? ;o)

….and how old are you?
You’re not old enough to be a Repubtard yet, are you? lol

Steve   October 13th, 2008 - 8:54 am

If you go back over the last few weeks in particular you will notice the Press has upped the number of articles using the race card. They also started with the help of Obama’s campaign back in New Hampshire by saying it must have been racism that Hillary won. Then they went on to make Hillary and mostly Bill Clinton out to be racists and followed that up by making out all Hillary supporters were racists.

You reap what you sow. Obama and the Press started this and it died down after Obama won the democratic nomination. Now they are back using it again against McCain and the Republicans.

I’m a democrat and the whole thing disgust me when the press and Obama’s camp is so irresponsible to incite this kind of racism and anger. What did they expect that they would shame republicans into voting against their beliefs? That by using the race card questions about Obama’s judgment with associates like Ayers, Rezko, Rev. Wright, that white Priest and his campaigning for a nutjob in Kenya would just go away because people were afraid to be called racists?

Grow a pair Obama, you’re only in the position you are because you’re black. No other candidate with your lack of experience or radical ties would have made it to the nomination. Way to go Democrats under the “leadership” of the idiot Pelosi and Reid who nearly forced delegates to get behind Obama and showed utter disrespect for a real democrat Hillary Clinton.

You just might have blown it as most Americans are starting to ask for answers and wonder just how radical/marxist/socialist Obama really is. The Press created a mythical candidate because they liked the story line. It had nothing to do with being qualified to lead. Most Americans are disgusted by both candidates. We’d rather see Romney vs Clinton…at least they know what they’re talking about. But this is up to the Press our new Big Brother.

Dev   October 13th, 2008 - 8:56 am

JC   October 13th, 2008 - 10:20 am

Obama’s campaign and the MSM are using race as a
shield to fend off any criticism of Obama.

The effect of such tactic forces race into any
issue that has nothing to do with race.

President Obama will be beyond the reach of
criticism bacause anything can be viewed as
racial if one is so inclind.

Then, only blacks can criticize President Obama
without fearing being called a racist.

People of other races will hesitate because no
one wants to be called a racist.

Race relations in this country will take a giant
step backward, and real racism will have a
comeback.

Question: Will Mr. Obama be the President of
all races in this country?

TED KOPPEL completely forgot how OBAMA used racism accusations against Hilary CLINTON this year!
In Georgia & other southern states
it is said many will NOT vote for OBAMA

assumes we see OBAMA’s BLACKNESS as the reason a voters doesn’t choose him/they have swallowed his game of say little and promise much for nearly two years
Does anyone besides Glenn Beck and people on C span think anymore?

I don’t want him because again today he Tells ME to believe in myself and believe in my neighbor and blah blah blah

hell I believe in God, I love this country and I don’t need Barack to lead the way –

More lying liberal media creeps in the tank for Obama. Obama and his campaign tried to avoid bringing racism into the campaign? What a crock! They’re the ones that brought race into the campaign and continue to do so till this day. They are the ones that are racist! Obama can’t win without white voters and win or lose he’ll certainly get a lot of them, however, black voters are not proportionately split. They are overwhelmingly for Obama which means they’re voting for him because he’s black which is racist! Many whites are voting for him because he’s black too because they feel guilty for a past anyone living today is not responsible for. I won’t vote for Obama because I believe he’s a far left radical socialist and maybe a closet muslim who will destroy this country and it’s traditions. Period!
