I’m very concerned with the economy…however, at this point, with Obama’s unsavory associations…even stretching to Kenya…I am more concerned for my country…If my country is brought to it’s knees by some flip flopping, lying and spineless President Obama, then I don’t have to worry about the economy, healthcare, or the housing market, all of that, I can assure you becomes irrelevent!!! Nobody will have to worry about anything. It will all be taken care of by and controlled by our illustrious Democratic Congress..and they’ve done such a fine job so far…God Help Us !!

Now, in McCain’s defense, it wasn’t a simple situation. Some people addressing him in that Republican group said abusive things, stupid things about Obama, ‘He’s an Arab, a terrorists, a traitor,” and McCain had to be responsible and say that that was wrong.
At the same time, you don’t do what McCain did here, which was just shut up your own people and tell them Obama is a good man and leave your supporters with nothing.
Instead, after telling them what is the wrong way to talk about Obama, McCain should have told them the right way to talk about Obama, like this:
We shouldn’t be calling Obama an Arab, a terrorist, a traitor, that kind of talk is out of line here. He’s not a terrorist, he’s not a traitor. But here’s what we know about Obama for a fact. Obama spent 20 years devotedly following an America-hating, white-hating pastor who taught his congregation that the black race is superior and the white race is evil, and Obama never criticized him. To the contrary, he repeatedly described him as his spiritual guide and as the most influential person in his life. Then, when that pastor’s statements began to come to light, Obama, who by his own admission had attended that church at least twice a month for 20 years, denied having ever heard that pastor say hateful things from the pulpit, until the whole country saw what that pastor was like, and Obama was forced to dissociate himself from him, while still denying that he had heard him say the kinds of things he obviously said all the time.
While he was attending that hate-America church, Obama worked for the well-known unrepentant Weather Underground bomber William Ayers, a self-described communist, as the first chairman of a foundation that Ayers had set up to propagandize school kids and turn them into leftist activists. Then, while Obama was serving as the chairman of Ayers’s foundation, Ayers and his wife Bernardine Dohrn, also a Weather Underground bomber, hosted in their Chicago home the fundraiser for Obama that launched his political career. I repeat: Obama began his political career in the home of an unrepentant Weatherman bomber whose stated objective was to overthrow the United States. Obama was a close associate, partner, and beneficiary of this person for at least seven years in the 1990s, and when this relationship came to light Obama outrageously lied about it and said that Ayers was just someone he bumped into occasionally in his neighborhood.
Those aren’t smears, my friends, those are facts.
Now, I repeat that Obama is not an America-hater and a terrorist, it’s wrong to say that, I won’t have that kind of talk in this campaign. But we do know for a fact that Obama, instead of avoiding American-haters and terrorists, closely associates with them. We know for a fact that he tolerates them and sees nothing wrong with them. And we know for a fact that when called out on his associations with such people, he dishonestly denies knowing anything about them.
What does that tell us about what kind of president he will be? It tells us that he will form close relations with terrorist and pro-terrorist leaders abroad, as already shown by his pledge to meet the president of Iran without conditions. It suggests that he will get cozy with anti-American leftists, both those abroad, like Hugo Chavez in Venezuela, and in America. And he will lie about doing so.
There’s no guesswork here, my friends. Obama’s consistent record is a clear indication of what he will do as president.
And I say to the American people, you are free to elect my opponent if you choose to do so. But you are not free to change facts. And you can be sure that a man who has tolerated and made friends with enemies of America all his life, instead of opposing them, will continue to do so as president of the United States.
If McCain were to speak like this, he would be making a logical, factual case, not just trafficking in adjectives and smear words. The left wouldn’t be able to dismiss him. That would be leadership. But of course this is all light-years beyond him.

Judicial Watch, the public interest group that investigates and prosecutes government corruption, announced today that it has obtained documents detailing earmarks submitted by Barack Obama on behalf of his family and political supporters during his time in the Illinois State Senate. The documents were obtained under the Illinois Freedom of Information Act. Among the projects detailed in the documents uncovered by Judicial Watch:
· Blue Gargoyle: Barack Obama helped secure a $25,000 grant for the Blue Gargoyle in August 2000, an organization that was headed by Capers C. Funnye, Jr., Michelle Obama’s first cousin once removed.
· Garden to Nowhere: Judicial Watch uncovered evidence of a $100,000 grant obtained by Obama for a garden project in Englewood, Illinois, spearheaded by Obama’s former campaign volunteer Kenny Smith. The “Englewood Botanical Garden†project never happened. In fact, according to the Chicago Sun Times, “today the garden site is a mess of weeds, chunks of concrete and garbage.†State records show that $65,000 of the grant money obtained by Obama went directly to Smith’s wife Karen. Smith also wrote an additional $20,000 check to a construction company owned by Karen D. Smith, K.D. Contractors which is no longer in business.
· Community of St. Sabina: In July, 2000, Obama helped secure a $100,000 grant for the Community of St. Sabina, a church headed by Father Michael Pfleger, a controversial and radical Catholic priest and Obama campaign contributor. Pfleger made news in March, 2008, for mocking then-presidential candidate Hillary Clinton from the pulpit of Trinity United Church of Christ, formerly run by Obama’s personal pastor the Reverend Jeremiah Wright.
· FORUM: Run by Yesse Yehudah, Barack Obama gave a $75,000 grant to the organization in 2000. Although Yehudah ran against Obama in a 1998 election, five people from FORUM donated $1000 to Obama’s campaign after receiving the grant. FORUM also contributed another $5,000 to help pay Obama’s debt after failing to be elected to congress in 2000. In 2002, the State sued Yehudah for failure to account for hundreds of thousands of dollars he received from Obama’s grant.
“Barack Obama’s earmark for his wife’s cousin, Rabbi Funnye, raises ethical questions. Some of these earmarks show that Barack Obama may have abused his office in the Illinois State Senate,†said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton.

I was ready to engage in decent conversation about John McCain doing what is right for once. However, most people on here can’t tell the truth about themselves. Sen. Barack Obama designated a personal aide as his direct contact for the 2007 Kenyan presidential campaign of Raila Odinga, who later was appointed prime minister after his election loss was followed by widespread, deadly violence that destroyed or damaged 800 Christian churches, according to e-mails obtained by WND senior staff writer Jerry Corsi during a trip to Kenya.
Corsi attempted to release this and other information at a Tuesday press conference in Nairobi. The WND reporter and No. 1 New York Times bestselling author was detained by Kenya security officers as soon as he entered the hotel to make his presentation. He was held incommunicado and without food for the entire day before being permitted to board his regularly scheduled flight out of the country to London, where he is currently recuperating from the ordeal.
As WND has reported, Obama openly campaigned for Odinga during the Illinois Democrat’s 2006 Senate “fact-finding visit” to Kenya.
Odinga called for protests over alleged voter fraud after losing the December 2007 general election. The resulting protest violence left an estimated 1,000 members of the dominant Kikuyu tribe in Kenya dead and an estimated 500,000 displaced from their homes.
The links between Obama and Odinga were documented by copies of two e-mails obtained by Corsi during his meetings in Kenya with various government officials and others.
The e-mails, apparently sent by Obama himself, referenced the senator’s aide, Mark Lippert. The e-mails were provided to WND by an insider in Kenya who fled Odinga’s Orange Democratic political party and requested anonymity because of the danger of retaliation.
The e-mails, identified as coming from Obama’s Senate office, are addressed to “railaaodinga” at a yahoo.com address.
A WND e-mail to the same Obama address generated an automated response and a list of contacts for Obama’s offices. A WND e-mail sent to the Odinga e-mail address didn’t generate a response.
One e-mail purportedly from Obama, dated Dec. 22, 2006, read, “I will kindly wish that all our correspondence [be] handled by Mr Mark Lippert. I have already instructed him. This will be for my own security both for now and in future.”

Obama’s “relationship” with the terrorist Ayres has been debunked by even conservative journalists but alas….its easier to make him a terrorist and evil (partly because you see a black face) than to simply make him a “decent” liberal man who wants to be President. Some of you cannot stand the thought of a black man being President — this is the reality that you need to face. We liberals see it and thinking independents see it as well and want to look away from this embarrassment. We want to look away from you. I was on a community foundation for a very long time and did not know until a year in that most I served with were staunch conservatives….we were completing a task at hand and I too ate with people who I would never hang with socially. If you cannot grasp this simple reality–there is no hope. A woman at a republican rally (a delegate I believe) supported the shooting of an abortion doctor….does this mean McCain does? I do not think so.

Obama’s “relationship†with the terrorist Ayres has been debunked by even conservative journalists but alas….its easier to make him a terrorist and evil (partly because you see a black face) than to simply make him a “decent†liberal man who wants to be President. Some of you cannot stand the thought of a black man being President — this is the reality that you need to face. We liberals see it and thinking independents see it as well and want to look away from this embarrassment. We want to look away from you. We fight in other countries against such stupid prejudice but we cannot see it in ourselves…..the greatest country in the world….and we cannot see it in ourselves.
I was on a community foundation for a very long time and did not know until a year in that most I served with were staunch conservatives….we were completing a task at hand and I too ate with people who I would never hang with socially. If you cannot grasp this simple reality–there is no hope. A woman at a republican rally (a delegate I believe) supported the shooting of an abortion doctor….does this mean McCain does? I believe Obama is best for America. I do not have a hateful heart for black people so I cannot relate to the bogus mess that people are trying to pin on Obama. One plus one equals two but Ayers views and behavior have nothing to do with Obama’s beliefs.
From my studies of propaganda I have learned that people will use words like Marxist, Socialist, Communist, etc., to discribe someone they hate and want to vilify. I am using knowledege and reason to make my decision not false assumptions based on some associations.
When did Obama blow up a building? When did Obama plot evil against American? What wrong can you accuse Obama of? Associations have nothing to do with a person. Does it make you a racist because your best friend or relative is one? If you judge Obama by his association then you must conclude yes. However, you cannot say that people that association with each other hold the same views. That is absurd.
Here is a challenge. I want someone to tell me why they believe socialism and communism should be bad words or ideas? There is nothing bad about the term socialism and communism. People use the words in a negative way but cannot point out what is negative about them. They are forms of government that can be abused like democracy has been.

Sen. Barack Obama designated a personal aide as his direct contact for the 2007 Kenyan presidential campaign of Raila Odinga, who later was appointed prime minister after his election loss was followed by widespread, deadly violence that destroyed or damaged 800 Christian churches, according to e-mails obtained by WND senior staff writer Jerry Corsi during a trip to Kenya.
Corsi attempted to release this and other information at a Tuesday press conference in Nairobi. The WND reporter and No. 1 New York Times bestselling author was detained by Kenya security officers as soon as he entered the hotel to make his presentation. He was held incommunicado and without food for the entire day before being permitted to board his regularly scheduled flight out of the country to London, where he is currently recuperating from the ordeal.
As WND has reported, Obama openly campaigned for Odinga during the Illinois Democrat’s 2006 Senate “fact-finding visit†to Kenya.
Odinga called for protests over alleged voter fraud after losing the December 2007 general election. The resulting protest violence left an estimated 1,000 members of the dominant Kikuyu tribe in Kenya dead and an estimated 500,000 displaced from their homes.
The links between Obama and Odinga were documented by copies of two e-mails obtained by Corsi during his meetings in Kenya with various government officials and others.
The e-mails, apparently sent by Obama himself, referenced the senator’s aide, Mark Lippert. The e-mails were provided to WND by an insider in Kenya who fled Odinga’s Orange Democratic political party and requested anonymity because of the danger of retaliation.
The e-mails, identified as coming from Obama’s Senate office, are addressed to “railaaodinga†at a yahoo.com address.
A WND e-mail to the same Obama address generated an automated response and a list of contacts for Obama’s offices. A WND e-mail sent to the Odinga e-mail address didn’t generate a response.
One e-mail purportedly from Obama, dated Dec. 22, 2006, read, “I will kindly wish that all our correspondence [be] handled by Mr Mark Lippert. I have already instructed him. This will be for my own security both for now and in future.â€

Last week Louis Farrakhan told a crowd of his fellow Muslims that Obama was the Messiah. As I understand it, Muslims await their messiah, or last Caliph, just as Christians do. Why would a leader of Muslims, Farrakhan, elevate an avowed Christian, Barack, to the level of Messiah? Wouldn’t that be blasphemy inasmuch as Louie’s statement is essentially a repudiation of Islam and an affirmation of Christianity? If so, where are the protests of Louie’s followers? Where is the condemnation from the world’s Imams? Maybe Louie knows something we don’t?
And why won’t the DNC release Obama’s birth certificate? Not a certification of birth such as the DNC recently took off its web site, the actual birth certificate.

“Bill Ayers lives in his neighborhood. Their kids attend the same school,” he said. “They’re certainly friendly, they know each other, as anyone whose kids go to school together.” I guess Ayers son, now 30, flunked.
This is yet another indication of how deadly socialists/dems consider the Ayers connection.
