People who overcome their same-sex attraction and restore their heterosexual nature describe their sam-sex compulsion as something similar to alcoholism or drug addiction – a compulsion that can be overcome.

John McCain came out for same sex marriage in 2006 and 2007. James Dobson rejected McCain initially in early 2008 because of this indifference to moral culture that is the real McCain as an Episcopalian. McCain shows up at the front door of the North Phoenix Baptist Church last year and all of a sudden his recent political history is forgotten and the Southern Baptist Convention cannot embrace a Martin Luther King Jr. type black christian moralist with social gospel credentials. Obama is wrong on same sex civil issues in the government and legal arena, but not as wrong as McCain has consistently been.

Forget all this religious nonsense. I don’t care for the idea of same sex marriage, but I don’t want to deny anything to anyone based upon someone’s superstitious religious beliefs. It’s not my place to say, or anyone else’s for that matter.

Don’t some of these church kooks ever question that what they “believe” is wrong?

Just think about it… If there is a God, a Creator if you will, would he/she be as judgmental as these clowns? I don’t think so. I think that whomever put this whole thing together wanted people to be happy.

I speak with some conviction. I was born a physically intersexed woman. As a result I have never had a date, relationship, intimacy or the benefit of a instant of romantic love for my entire 52 years of live on this planet. That’s just the way it is and I would have loved to be married, had a family, and someone to mourn over me when it is time for me to meet my maker.

So when these jerks want to deny another human being the love they so richly deserve, just think about someone like me. My doctors tell me this happens once in about 110,000 birth. About half die from their own hand, if untreated. It’s tough, but whomever made me made me tougher and wiser than those folks who are so self-righteous in their narrow-minded views.
