Unlike the Obama rallies, Republicans believe in “Free Speech” – who cares what the hecklers have to say, they weren’t there to hear what she had to say anyway! At Obama rallies the people who protest his Marxist speeches are removed, not allowed to exercise their freedom of speech! ONE MORE REASON NOT TO ELECT OBAMA -

Palin's Pussy   October 7th, 2008 - 8:26 am

1. Can likable still trump knowledgeable at such a vulnerable crossroads for the country?

2. With pompom patois and sing-songy jingoism, Palin can bridge contradictory ideas that lead nowhere.

3. A political jukebox, she drowned out Biden’s specifics; offering lifestyle as substance, making the middle class sound like it has its own ZIP code.

4. Palin uses language to praise herself as a fresh face with new ideas who has “joined this team that is a team of mavericks.” True mavericks don’t brand themselves.

(FACT) BIDEN LIED 10 TIMES IN HIS DEBATE WITH PALIN. WHAT A COWARD!

Kevin   October 7th, 2008 - 8:48 am

That remark to the protester really made sense.

Richard Blauhaus   October 7th, 2008 - 8:57 am

Dear “P.P.” (I won’t write out your “name”):
>Why are you “diversity and tolerance” and (supposedly better-educated) liberals so profane and downright nasty?
>Do you think your cause (whether we’re talking higher taxes, coddling terrorists, or maintaining those million abortions a year) is advanced through this kind of woman hatred?
>Methinks you sad, pathetic, and indicative of the moral bankruptcy of your movement.
>Bless your heart, you loveable hatemonger. The rest of us are waking up, and thanks to clowns like you, we’ll be sure to vote.
Your friend, Richard

Iraq?   October 7th, 2008 - 9:56 am

What does fighting in Iraq have to do with saying you don’t like Palin? I don’t get it. But I’m sure glad she blessed his heart first. I would definitely be voting for McCain if she wasn’t involved.

Jersey Dave   October 7th, 2008 - 10:02 am

Palin is awesome.

And as for what fighting in Iraq has to do with it, remember that Freedom is not Free. Her point was her son was defending the right of people to speak, even those who disagreed with her. It’s not that hard to get, and as for people who either don’t get it or say they don’t when they do, that’s their problem.

Sarah Palin is awesome. She’s lightning on the mike and she gets better every day. People who argue she is not prepared are full of it, she’s hit the curve so fast she’ll be ready to go as VP on day one and ready to be McCain’s backup too. McCain is a tough ol’ guy though so figure on 8 years before V.P. Palin would run on her own.

She is growing into more of a player in the future of the nation every day. It’s awesome to watch. She’s come faster along the curve than Obama did, considering when she got in and how fast she is climbing in skills.

As for Obama, he makes speeches well, but McCain would make a great President. That is the key.

kitty hogan   October 7th, 2008 - 10:20 am

Vote for McCain Palin and support our troops………..do not vote for Barack Hussein Obama………..he and his ilk don’t have our best interests at heart. Hello socialism?

mcnertny   October 7th, 2008 - 10:21 am

Guess the sunnis will come over when we quit paying them and take the right to protest away,,a good 2% of that wildly cheering audience are taking part in the war with her family member. Why isnt levi on his way over.

Wanker Limbaugh   October 7th, 2008 - 10:23 am

Sarah Palin is bimbolicious!

No wonder the Republican party is angry.

Hey John, since you’re going down in flames, knock off the race baiting crapola. It is not good for the nation. Some fools thought you were better than that, but they were fools.

I’m John McCain and I’m going along with this crap.

Airwick   October 7th, 2008 - 10:30 am

Iraq?,
I couldn’t agree with you more. McCain was my guy until he chose that empty skirt for his VP. I can think of nearly a dozen other, better qualified and distinguished individuals (including four women) that should have been picked before her. Not only does this woman obviously know nothing; she clearly lacks the ability or desire to LEARN anything as well. Regurgitating sound bites with a folksy twang and a “come hither, sailor” wink is NOT enough. How about some substance, lady? You say that you want to “regulate” Wall Street but want to get “government off the back of business”. How do you propose to do that? Isn’t this a contradiction? Do you have ANY concept of what is presently happening in the US and the World economies and what caused it? If you don’t know what caused it, HOW are you going to fix it?

See if you can come up with something besides, “Obama is a friend of Wm. Ayers, a known terrorist”. The subject is the economy…don’t try to change it.

DontTaseMeBro   October 7th, 2008 - 10:46 am

The media likes to call it mud-slinging; what if any of the so-called mud is truthful?

Does the background of a candidate mean anything or should we just go along with what he or she says? There are a lot of gullible individuals out there and will vote for what “feels” or “sounds” pleasant while others who are just plain corrupt will lie and say anything to get into office.

If anyone would care to take a dare and look at some interesting concerns into the background of Barrack Obama. Here are a list of topics.

Things are happening; our world is changing right in front of us, and not all for the better. Obama definitely has his role to play in this.

Using the Internet we are now able to look up a large amount of infortion in a short period of time.

Google the topics below and for those people who refuse afterwards to at least acknowledge there are some concerns, they must either be numb robots or are blinded by their ideology, or worse.

For the rest of us it is down right scary.

Please read on.

You are correct – Freedom is not Free — but her son is not fighting in Iraq for MY right to protest — it is for the Iraqis to have the right. Sara Palin may be a nice “hockey mom” and “just an ordinary person” – but in these troubled times I want a ticket that is extraordinary — we deserve exceptional. I do not want an “ordinary” person leading us — I want one who is thoughtful, knows history, can elevate a nation and yes — I will say it — intellectual. These are complicated times that deserve complex thinking and ideas.

Airwick   October 7th, 2008 - 10:55 am

I will vote for the candidate that is best able to articulate a plan to stabilize the economy and bring back prosperity (and jobs). A secondary issue is who can best extricate this country from that mess in Iraq and focus our energy on diminishing the threat of al Qaeda.

I could care less about “Obama (insert name)”.

Wanker Limbaugh   October 7th, 2008 - 10:56 am

John McCain- I’m morally and intellectually inferior. Don’t tell Sarah I came out in favor of same sex marriage in 2006 and again in 2007 or that James Dobson stepped on my face in January for being pro gay rights. Dobson endorsed my campaign after realizing that the Democratic party actually had fewer gays than the Republican Log Cabin brigade.

Bush/Palin/McCain- A himbo, a bimbo and arms akimbo.

Wanker Limbaugh why don’t you become a human shield and put you money where your arse is.

Karen   October 7th, 2008 - 11:05 am

Do all “intellectuals” hang out with alot of radicals? Obama’s past is certainly filled with shady characters, and his associations are important to know for someone who is running for one of the most powerful jobs in the world. After all, his choice of associates, friends and mentors have not been exactly stellar…wonder what his cabinet would look like? Associations are IMPORTANT…so put the koolaid down and take a look at his choices so far. It’s also very interesting that he only disassociates himself with the Wright’s and Ayers when it become politically expedient to do so. Then he lies and says he just didn’t know….right…

Bo   October 7th, 2008 - 11:07 am

To: All of you leftist nuts, I have a question for you, Are you willing to fight for your country? ( I’m not asking if you’re willing to join our military to fight) -are you willing to fight for your right to run your mouth, to make your nonsense “Change” We can Believe in, a reality? Are you?
This is the direction that you are leading our people toward. The common people of our country are to the end of good graces, for you and your pathetic, hide behind your freedoms- crap.
We see you as a bunch of cowards, that hide behind your cpu’s and spread your foul ignorant nonsense, all to make yourselves feel better about yourselves, because of your short commings.
I am sure that there is an Army of people willing to fight for it if you like, with us.
Some people would say’ We’re calling you out.
Are you willing to fight for this Country?

Lee   October 7th, 2008 - 11:18 am

I’m so sick and tired of people questioning her qualifications! If something happens to John McCain she’ll have a butt load of advisors and Secretaries of whatever to adviser her!

GET REAL PEOPLE NO ONE AS PRESIDENT MAKES ALL THE DECISIONS BY THEMSELVES! Reagan, Clinton, Kennedy, FDR, Truman all had advisors!!!

Obama isn’t even President and he has over 300+ advisers making his decisions for him right now! Should we be worried about what happens if one of them dies? My goodness, how will he continue?

Smarten up and vote McCain/Palin we can’t afford Socialism and Obama’s radical way of wanting to govern!!!

Maggiepoo   October 7th, 2008 - 11:22 am

Yeah where in the world is Michelle? Running things behind the scenes, I’m sure. Along with Valerie Jarrett, his Iranian born campaign manager.

HWP   October 7th, 2008 - 11:28 am

In case some of you numbskulls haven’t noticed..we have military all over the world, not just in Iraq…and “THEY” are all in this together…..”FREEDOM” is the driving force. And if Obamanation gets in…your going to see alot more of “what happened to our freedoms at home”? You Democrats will be your own destruction.

Airwick   October 7th, 2008 - 11:39 am

Lee,
Palin may have “a butt load of advisors and Sec. of whatever to advise her” if something happens to John and, God forbid, she becomes president. The key point is that these people are ADVISORS and, as such, do NOT make decisions. SHE will. The big question is simple. Does she have the ability to parse through conflicting, complicated data on subject matter that she has only a passing familiarity (pretty much everything) and come to a logical, reasoned response?

Thus far she has not demonstrated that ability. Worse still is the fact that she (and her advocates) doesn’t seem to think that this matters.

Dave   October 7th, 2008 - 11:52 am

Palin said:”My son is in Iraq fighting for your right to speak”?
I consider myself an avid follower of the news but I can’t recall any attempts by any Iraqi’s trying to undermine our first ammendment…
In fact, the only suppression of speech that I see is coming from college campuses and the ADL with their incremental, draconian hate speech codes that will eventually be adopted.

The fact that every American in that audience refused to challenge her on that ridiculous statement shows that we are nothing but timid, ignorant sheep who are easily bamboozeld and these are the very people who will vote.
We’re are screwed.

edword   October 7th, 2008 - 11:53 am

Ahhh protesters. Almost ALWAYS liberal/democrats.

What a bunch of shrill petulant creeps…liars and cheaters. Brownshirts w/o a Clue.

Har   October 7th, 2008 - 12:00 pm

More mindless regurgitated populism from an unqualified and uninformed political pawn. No one in Iraq is fighting to preserve freedom of speech. Her wink-charm and regular-speak crap only influences men who want to bang her, and women who want to be her. Truly pathetic.

Airwick   October 7th, 2008 - 12:04 pm

Edword,
Isn’t that First Amendment a bummer?

Hmmm…”My son is in Iraq fighting for your right to speak”, only don’t use that right…you will upset those who don’t agree with you and you may get shot by the likes of Mindseye.

Governor Palin is right. She could have followed up with “there are many countries who would have you taken out of here and summarily shot for speaking out as you do” We are fortunate that we have a military whose mission, since day one over 200 years ago was LIBERATION.

Didn’t she say she and Todd were going to Michigan to to save the campaign there by talking to the workers to get them to vote for the Two Mavericks?

I hope that wasn’t just bluster in response to the McCain campaign having pulled out of Michigan without having told her. I hope she’s not a drama queen like McCain who “suspended” his campaign to go solve the financial crisis and then when he got to Washington just sat there and said he would yield to his more experienced colleagues. Then he said he wouldn’t make the debate. Then he said he would.

Maybe he’s not a drama queen. Maybe he’s simply being pushed around by his campaign manager.

Since When is IRAQ WAR about FREEDOM OF SPEECH in USA?   October 7th, 2008 - 2:35 pm

Palin is a damned fool. So is anyone who falls for her flamboyant, downhome nonsense.

Our American soldiers may be fighting in Iraq for a lot of (dubious) reasons, but FREEDOM OF SPEECH IN THE U.S.A. IS *NOT* ONE OF THEM!

Somebody please get this “HOCKEY-MAHHM” Bimbo off stage!

McCain destroyed all possibility of winning the Presidency when he blindsided America with his choice of this Moose-mama for his running soul-mate!

We were going to vote for McCain to avoid an Obama administration, but Palin is just so ridiculous and dangerous, we either will vote for Obama or just not bother to vote.

IDIOTS!

Maybe she can do this   October 7th, 2008 - 2:40 pm

Here is something that Palin can work on since she is obviously not capable of discussing politics.

I have a question for you.

Q: What does Osama Bin Ladin & Barrack Obama have in common (besides their Islamic names and family roots)?

A: They are also both friends and allies with people that have bombed the Pentagon

And while you are trying to come up with some dribble to discredit that statement that was partially intended as a joke with truth. why don’t you also start working on the following concerns.

Like I said — you are an idiot or possibly worse.

If Obama gets elected get ready for the failed principles of socialism and communism to be implemented into our society. People like Obama have been at work at doing this for years and they now think they have a person who can usher in their system — his name is Barrack Hussein Obama!

OK, I Googled everything and all I found were right-wing propaganda web sites trying to scare America with manufactured poop. Looks like it worked on you. Coincidence? I think not. Nice try, but propaganda doesn’t work on educated people. If you can provide some credible news sources that elaborate on the crap that is encrusted on your lips, then perhaps we will look into it.

Airwick   October 7th, 2008 - 3:08 pm

Actually, Bro, I was more interested in what McCain/Palin thought about regulatory controls for Wall Street. When and how are they going to monitor and/or control banking, lending, and trading activities so that what has transpired over the last several years (culminating in the present crisis) does not happen again? I really could care less about the results of an Obama-whatever search.

Now aren’t you glad that they (mostly Democrats) didn’t allow you to invest your Social Security benefits in the Market?

Eileen   October 7th, 2008 - 3:15 pm

Dear supporters of President Elect McCain and Vice President Elect Palin. Don’t believe these polls…they are fixed and lop sided with mostly pro democratic voters…they do not reflect what is really taking place in America.

The only way that the Flim Flam Obamaman will get any votes are from…the ignorant…the ill informed…old time Democrats who think they are still living in 1950…felons…terrorists living here…homeless people who could care less but will vote when told who to vote for to get a payback of some kind…Muslims…blacks…and any other kind of individual that doesn’t care about the freedoms and democracy we, as Republican, are trying to preserve.

Keep fighting…keep blogging…keep talking…keep calling…inform your friends…your family…your neighbors…anyone who has a vote…let’s get it out and get it done for America and the continuance of our democracy as we know it! Let them know about the anti-American Flim Flam Obamaman and his friends who want to see our government fail with him at the helm!

I will cast my vote for President Elect Mccain and Vice President Palin. Together they have honor, integrity and commitment to making the changes/reforms that America needs and wants!

We need to also vote straight Republican to make sure and give them a Congress they can work with to implement those changes!

VOTER REVOLUTION…HERE AND NOW!

You said, “I really could care less about the results of an Obama-whatever search.
Now aren’t you glad that they (mostly Democrats) didn’t allow you to invest your Social Security benefits in the Market?”

First, YES, so glad… And let’s hope those dolts do not ever resurrect the INSANE CONCEPT of “privatizing Social Security”!

Second, Airwick, we love your comments, but PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not use the illogical phrase, “I COULD CARE LESS…” The correct usage is “I COULD *NOT* CARE LESS…” This illogical “could care less” is seen frequently online, and it reveals a less-than-careful logic and imprecise verbalizing of one’s views. Thank you for taking this well-meaning “constructive criticism” in the friendly spirit in which it is offered… :-)

The more logical our verbal constructs, hopefully, the more SANE our overall policies and way of life… ! (ONE CAN DREAM…)

Wanker Limbaugh   October 7th, 2008 - 5:45 pm

Palin Thinks ALASKA is REFUGE for END-TIMES-

This is the effect of the Rapture culture crowd. Preaching end times theology has been a recent money winning gig since The Late Great Planet Earth from Hal Lindsey. More recently is the Left Behind series from LaHaye. This rapture theology has been around starting with Charles Darby and then picked up by Scofield over approx. the past 200 years or so.

We also saw the Christian Reconstructionist crowd who believe that they can dictate God’s schedule and force the rapture on their time table.

These folks were blown away by the ‘love of money’ and the return to rapture theology wears thin in the ‘cry wolf’ manner. Casino theology and commodities speculation were found more prominently with this group.

Now it is time for them to preach a form of British/American Israelism again. Many Christians are lead into a political rendering of scripture and the imperatives of morality fall to the wayside out of inconvenient reality.

This is why Bush as CINCUS never bothered to ban pornography on U.S. military installations for now approaching 8 years. Bush is about the ‘love of money’ and must use the cover of Christian sheep’s clothing to deceive America’s Bible conservatives who are now in disarray and realizing that Bush never had the grace of God in Iraq or about anything else. He goes down as the worst president in American history.

The reason Bush went into Iraq was over $375 billion in war reparations payments owed to Bush family wealthy Muslim billionaire friends in Saudi and Kuwait that Saddam would not and could not repay over the 91 Gulf war loss.

Rolling out the Rapture culture scare tactics is not new as it was done mildly in prep for the 91 war and was previously seen against the Russians and now again in End Times theology out of Ezekiel mined estimates and efforts of application.

Most Christians today rather surprisingly do not know that the Revelation of Jesus Christ is heavy judgment against Israel because of a Christ rejecting hostility against the New Testament from orthodox Jews.

Whosoever was not found written in the Book of Life were cast into the everlasting lake of fire means whosoever. It does not matter if you are Jewish, Jamaican or Japanese.

Rapture theology and culture are heavy with misunderstandings and deliberate abuse for political manipulations. What a waste.

I have a little more faith in the United States than you. After all, we have survived (so far) nearly eight years of Mr. Bush and the country is still here. Granted the economy is tanking and we could point fingers in multiple directions to establish blame. The BIG question right now is what are we going to do about it? It looks like major reform/regulation of the banking industry may be in order. Ms. Palin seems to like the idea of some sort of regulation that does not require the government to get involved (she wants regulation but wants to get government “off of the back of business”). I am still trying to figure out how THAT is supposed to work. But Sarah was never big on details, was she? Wink, wink.

Thus far Mr. McCain seems to be of the opinion that everything is fundamentally sound. Really? It certainly doesn’t appear that this is the case. The problem right now seems to be that panic is starting to set in (especially with the early Baby Boomers who are retiring) and investors are starting to pull out of their investments in an attempt to “save something”. We need a well thought out course of action to restore confidence that the problems we are now facing will be met and some sort of control(s) will be put into place so that this situation will turn around and not recur. “It will work itself out” is not sufficient. Too many have lost too much too quickly for that to be acceptable. Stick to the issues tonight, John, I could NOT care less (thanks for the tip) about Obama’s alleged friends, his minister, or what breed of dog he likes.

It’s the ECONOMY, stupid! Stay on topic.

Michelle Obama hates whitey and hates the USA.

John McCain hates blacks and as a long time bigot fought against the Martin Luther King Jr. Federal holiday and hates Christianity.

She is a big box of memorized lines. Dumb. Uninformed. Hockey moms are not the majority. Her son is fighting for my freedom, hje’s fighting for George W. Bush and the oil companies.

This creature needs to be “blessed” with a lobotomy. Fine example of a mother she is – abandoning her children when they need her the most – one confused, resentful, pregnant teen and one a Down Syndrome kid (where was this Jezebel’s judgment when she conceived a kid at ripe old age of 42? – everyone knows the odds of this happening escalte with age). She’s dumb face it.

If this Christian-thing really believed what she was saying – she’d be campaigning for Obama and the security of this nation FOR THIS NATION – not Iraq.

Yeah, Reuben!   October 9th, 2008 - 4:18 am

Reuben, right on! Especially the part about the Jezebel having a kid at 42–and then abandoning him and the others so she can traipse around the country showing off, as if she’s still in a beauty pageant!

Saddened   October 10th, 2008 - 7:11 am

Very saddened to read comments pertaining to birthplaces of people involved with Obama campaign – have we forgotten that our country is a BEACON OF HOPE and we at one time welcomed the oppressed? Millions of people were born outside this country and went on to lead productive lives as American citizens. I believe the McCain/Palin ticket is slyly pushing the paranoia buttons of the average American – how sad we are and how far we’ve slipped back when diversity of culture becomes the focus (albeit a very pathetic, uneducated one)to avoid talking about the real ones that pertain to Mr. and Mrs. Average America. Pure prejudice shrouded in patriotism. Just one step above using the “N” word. Shame on all who focus in that direction. And BTW, why did McCain not immediately join in agreement with Obama that the CEO’s of AIG should be fired, and the monies spent on their lavish party in CA returned immediately after WE bailed them out? BECAUSE THE REPUBLICAN TICKET IS FINANCIALLY UNDERWRITTEN BY GREEDY, CROOKED WALL STREET. Wake up “my friends”.
