German hearts swelled with pride as they saw the HITLER youth marching, and they BELIEVED it was a positive thing for their children to be involved in. They loved their dear leader ADOLF. Those who don’t learn from history are destined to repeat it.

This video is disturbing from several perspectives and should anger any parent or voter. First, regardless of a parent’s political affiliation, why would any parent allow their minor child to be exploited for any political candidate’s/party’s benefit? Second, the background is clearly some type of school room. Why would any middle school, where the students are known to be minors, permit and endorse such political activity? Disgusting.

I am pretty sure these kids are part of a step group, which is a very common and popular activity for black male teens and college students. I don’t think there is anything threatening about kids who are passionate about becoming doctors and lawyers. To compare middle school children to Nazis is really indefensible.

Why any responsible parent or school official would condone such inappropriate physical gestures warrents investigation. The issue here is that if a person has conservative principals, they are shunned and forgotten by their own community.
The same conservative, religious principals that many in the African American Communities use and hold dearly in their own family’s and lives are the same principals they throw out the window when choosing their political affiliations.

We are currently picking up communications which elude to the possibility of civil unrest in the inner city environments as a prelude to other events. The potential for this type of unrest is actually quite viable as economic conditions have been a reason for civil unrest in the past. A notable aspect has been the focused recruitment drive by Islamic entities here in the US within the inner cities populations. Gangs, State prisoners, locally incarcerated persons in county jail facilities and entire low income neighborhoods have all been targets of very successful Islamic recruitment.
Most of these individuals are inner city residents and have the potential to present quite a problem to law enforcement in these areas. They are highly organized and are very much against the “establishmentâ€. If they were to amass and start civil unrest it could become quite ugly. The concept of these Islamic recruits is much like having a militant Islamic army already in place, armed and dangerous both in weaponry and Islamic militant ideology.
Civil unrest could also serve as a very well paced diversionary tactic for groups like al Qaeida and Hezbollah as law enforcement would be quite busy with the civil disturbances. It would allow Islamic terrorist to focus on both hard and soft targets much easier.
Civil disturbance and unrest is easily and quickly initiated and there is seldom a trail leading back to who actually started the action. All things considered, it would be wise for law enforcement to start putting their feelers out, tap their street resources and listen for any hints of this type activity.
It’s just a suggestion. :)

The claim is that it video taped last year early in the presidential campaign for Barack Obama (they started recruiting and indoctrination early). This academy is a part of the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education and is listed as a charter school of the district (school code 048-907 and building code 3915). The question become of the legality of such an obvious use of public school ground, time, and funding for the partisan indoctrination of its students.
It’s somehow consider a non-profit yet it is associated with a public school system. A web search indicates assets of $608,873 with an income of $2,228,995 and a revenue of $2,228,995 (2006). Administrators as listed as follows:

Mrs. Joyce McGautha, Superintendent

As a staunch conservative who believes Barack Obama will bring socialism and ruin to our economy, I suppose I should get excited about this clip. But I don’t.
If simply the candidacy of Barack Obama is successful in getting a few black teenagers to try and learn how to speak standard English, that’s good. Those teens will have a better shot at success than their “you know what I’m sayin’” friends in the ghetto.
The tragedy is that these young people really expect an Obama presidency will somehow sprinkle the magic fairy dust of success on them. In fact, success is still going to require hard work, staying in school, learning English, keeping off drugs and baby mammas, etc. I don’t think even King Obama has figured out how to achieve that yet.

Apparently, word about this is just starting to get out and how it relates to the school board, charters schools, etc. So, that might require some lag time for more information to come out.

The poles show that Obama is leading over McCain. I don’t know but a handful of people that say they are voting for Obama, so where do they get these poles? I hope that all those who have commented negative here, will definitely show up at the poles or vote by mail for McCain, even if you don’t like him. Vote against the one you don’t want in there. Just to be clear, I read Obama’s Inspiration – Hope book (in Spanish- so I may not have the title precisely correct as to the English jacket label), think it’s very cool he’s come so far, realise rap and dance can be formulaically ritualistic, and do feel that Obama’s skill set and success are impressively motivational. But I feel that none of these factors singly or together outweighs the deeply disturbing nature of this video. What precisely, if anything, distinguishes this from populistic group misbehaviors of gangs, or Hamas at it’s violent worst (whatever you feel about the broad range of pros and cons as to Hamas), Pol Pot, North Korean and Maoist schoolchildren, or Fascist rallies? This may seem harmless to many of you, it may seem innocent. I believe that it is innocent in most ways, but at its heart it is insidious, like everything associated with Obama. On its surface, this is a group of young black men who have found someone else to look up to besides rappers and thugs. Since the black community shuns the idea of respecting or admiring a white person as a role model— that is discouraged and disallowed, due to a curious, unconcscious racism rooted in a very biased view of history— it is nice for them to have one (half-white as he is, though) who they can identify with and admire. No matter that Obama’s childhood was completely and utterly different from theirs, and the only thing he shares with these kids is a litte bit of skin color (making him, ironically, kind of more of a white role model than not). So, in this way, it is good for them to have some hope, even though the hope is oversold and they could have the same hope if they themselves transcended race and looked up to a person of another ethnicity… They need someone whose skin happens to be a little dark in order to feel connected. I sound mocking, but I realize that this is just the way it is, and though I find it unfortunate, I do not mock them for it. They’ve had the bleak view that they can’t do anything but aspire to be thugs or football players.
The insidiousness of this, however, is that this is a stone’s throw from brainwashing. Obama is built up into a hero to these young men, based soley on how far he has come so far. It glosses over what he did to get to this point, and it misses any realistic criticism of the man, his views, or a real look at what exactly he has actually achieved besides self-promotion. The issue is that— while it is nice for these young men to have some role model aside from a thug or a basketball playing high-roller— they are switching over to a role model who is a Marxist, who is really not anything like them (though has always wanted to be), and who is capable of tapping into these peoples’ unbridled loyalty. They will not criticise him, for he is their ultimate hero. They will not question his views or plans, they will simply concede that he is doing the right thing; any other thought would be innconceivable. It is a cult of personality, united under someone who they believe is just like them.
Furthermore, I wonder if Obama’s success will really push them to work hard their whole lives, pushing through college and so on. It is a weird place for one to derive their own personal ambition— from someone who they will likely never meet. But I understand that, for a relative minority of people, the inspiration will help them.
Then we will have militant reinforcement of Obama’s views from the people who feel that he has done so much for them— just by being himself, just by being half African… And woe on those who would criticise their hero.
I think NHred has it wrong. Psychologically, this unthinking, unaware, pseudo-inspirational activity is hard to distinguish at a cognitive motivational level from the mindset of gangs and powerful violent groups in history. I would gently suggest that this video displays the precise cognitive precondition that results in gang activities, and that is why I find it so disturbing.
I suppose the issue here is the inappropriate use of the word “because.” This degree of attributional emphasis on the personhood of a leader (rather than the rational considerations of the broad body politic of many individual voices and considerations) has always proven to be a flawed. I am busy trying to think of a counter-example, but I am concerned that this significant message from history and psychology is not in these young people’s awareness.
I feel that one of the most important books in the past few years is The Lucifer Effect, and I feel these young men and their mentors would benefit from thinking through the implications of that work and similar information we have about group behaviors. These issues that are summarized in many places, including The Stanford Prison Experiment on Wikipedia. This is one of the most important political issues for our society, and for the unfairly stigmatized. It is a profoundly relevant issue at many levels for these young people.
At a positive level, I hope the idea of personal responsibility and personally-accountable compassionate awareness percolates out of all this.
Why don’t their parents inspire them to do great things with their lives? Just curious? Someone may need to tell them socialism kills incentive. If you tax a doctor to the point he clears the same money as a pizza delivery guy, then who will go to medical school, complete a grueling residency, go into debt to set up a practice? The answer is noone. Socialism only creates shortages & misery. All those russians really had a great time standing in lines for hours, just to hopefully get a loaf of bread. They called it hope and change once upon a time too.
It’s only “fair” to compare this to nazis because you know if a bunch of white kids did this for Bush OR McCain (Especially if it were for Palin), they would be labeled raci$t n a z i s.

Are you saying that just because I disagree with the politics of Obama that I am a racist? Are you saying that just because I am voting for McCain I am a racist? In the beginning, I did look at Obama’s voting record and listen to his speeches but the more I read (not from any radical group but my own research)and the more I heard I knew he was not my choice as president of my country, and my choice didn’t have anything to do with the color of his skin. I am Polish, Irish and German and born in this country as were my parents but my skin happens to be white. I do not belong to any radical group but I do defend my right to expect a fair and balanced election. And, I do have the right to make a choice without my choice being mistaken as any racial discrimination.
This election campaign has been handled way different than any I’ve lived through and I’ve been around for a lot of elections. I’m sorry if you are offended, but some of this stuff is scary to me. I’m just a middle class retired wife/mother/grandmother trying to do my duty to God and my country – and I want the best for my family and my friends.
There are people of all nationalities who need assistance but the priority first should be that they learn to help themselves. We have been a wealthy country but some have ruined it for the many – those who decided to take the easy way out – companies, banks and individuals. I want a person in office who will understand this and bring a solution and protection for all not just a few.

There are many others. And no, English, German, Irish, etc. are not races. Those are nationalities or ethnic groups.
Now you can help me. Why do blacks call themselves “African-Americans”? I know some folks call themselves Irish-Americans, Italian-Americans, even Chinese-Americans, but Ireland, Italy, and China are all countries, whereas Africa is a continent.
