The point is: VOTE! I don’t care how old, young or how you are motivated or what your political leanings are. If you don’t vote, you have relinquished your rights to the other guy whom you may even not agree with. So if you don’t vote in this election, keep that pie hole shut and stay off the blogs because your opinion just doesn’t count anymore.
Our Founding Fathers warned against a government exactly like the one we have today. The real problem is government officials are only worried about putting money in their own pockets at our expense whether they be Democrat or Republican.
I do find it funny that all of these Democrats are screaming about the economy. Do they have any clue that this ball started rolling back in 1992 when Clinton signed the Deregulation Bill?
That people inside of Obama’s campaign are tied to the mortgage mess? Isn’t it interesting how Chris Dodd received special rates when he refinanced BOTH of his homes? Saving him over $70,000.
In 1994 Obama was the lawyer on a class action suit against Citibank trying to force them to hand out loans to people that clearly could not afford to pay them back. That is the SAME reason we are in the mess we are in right now.
It is time for a change but not the one the media is trying to shove down our throats. We need more than a two party system. What we need is a real choice.

I have no problem with a black man or woman being president, and those that do should be ashamed. But, Obama does not hold to the values that I do, therefore I cannot vote for him. It has nothing to do with race. The Republicans I personally know are honest, hard working people who believe in helping their fellow man, whether white or black or somewhere in between. The difference is we give from our “own” hard earned money instead of expecting the government to do it all. We care about people just like you. We want to see the less fortunate prosper and come up higher to be able to experience “the American dream”. I believe that fundamentally good people in both parties have the same goal of helping others, we just have different philosophies on how to achieve it. There are so many issues. Couldn’t possibly cover them all. None of us should generalize about either party. All Repubs are not “greedy” and all Debs are not “abortion happy liberals”. We are a very diverse nation. We all want to be happy and have a good life for ourselves and our families. It is time to put aside the party politics and begin to work together for the good of the nation. If that means a Dem doesn’t get elected this time, then one will get elected at a later date. The same goes for the Repubs. Objectively look at the candidates and what they truly stand for and vote for the person who honestly walks closest to the ideals you hold.

This was hilarious! One of the best comedic videos I’ve seen in a long time, and the acting was terrible…considering most of them were actors! Their condescending tones, over dramatic expressions give this clip a definite Z grade movie!! Didn’t DiCaprio win an Oscar, too?! Such bad, over done, disingenuous acting! And that’s what’s so funny about this…they’re all acting. There’s no sincerity here…they’re all playing a part and have so lost touch with reality and REAL people.

I moved out when I was 14 years old because of an abusive mother. I moved into a cockroach infested 10×10 single room apartment with a communal bathroom, above an adult book store, in downtown abandon main street, in one of the scummiest sections of downtown. NO ONE ever helped me out and I NEVER expected them to. Today I live in a upper middle class neighborhood, I run my own business from my home, my wife and I make over75k a year, we have 3 beautiful children and two birds. We own 2 cars including a new highline Volvo S60 sedan! These Hollywood libs are so out of touch. Now that I’ve made a great life for myself, where does it say in the U.S. constitution that I’m require to pay extra taxes to help out all the lazy bums who aren’t willing to do what it takes to change their lives around? It’s socialism people. I plan to vote. I think voting is important. That being said, well it’s not my place to force anyone to vote. Last time I checked, this was America and we have the freedom to chose. I keep asking myself, “Why would any American – democrat or republican – listen to Hollywood for their political advice?” And I’ve come to the conclusion that I don’t think many people are listening – which is why they keep enlisting more and more Hollywood freaks to push their parties talking points. The more actors and actresses keep opening their mouths the more movies/shows/merchandise I refuse to spend my hard earned money on them or their products. I do not need Hollywood to tell me what is good for me and my family.
My advice for Hollywood – just keep your mouths shut and do the job you are over-paid to do.
