Biden and Obama favor some kind of ban on assault weapons, something McCain opposes.

“I … think we should reinstate the assault weapons ban (that expired in 2004) in order to give our police officers a fighting chance against the criminals on the street with these military-style assault weapons,” Biden said Tuesday.

“I am not in favor of concealed weapons,” Obama said. “I think that creates a potential atmosphere where more innocent people could (get shot during) altercations.”

Uhh, uhh uhhs omitted from the above to keep comments from being 2 pages long. Obama and his supporters are lying through their rotten teeth.

As for you, Luke, although we miss your father and hope he is resting in peace, you were the apple that fell VERY far from the tree. You let it be known just how objective you are, and in my opinion are a buffoon. Nice try there Luke.

If you are a gun owner in this country, you need to get out and vote this November.

Don’t think it can happen? Just look at Chicago.

Hey guys -

Notice how Katie Couric is all smiles and gushing in her conversation with B. Obama – its like sexual chemistry. Then, when speaking with J. McCain she is tight lipped and deathly serious. You’ll notice the same disparity in the J. Bidden, S. Palin interviews. With J. Bidden she is at ease smiling and comfortable. He has his arm on the couch near her, they are both cordial and seem like old friends (she’s so much at ease that when he mis-speaks about Hoover/Roosevelt and television/radio, she dosen’t even catch it).

In the S. Palin interview she is blood thirsty. In deadly earnest, she keeps her glasses on, as goes for the kill. Determined to back Palin (the political newbie), into a proverbial “Dan Quayle” corner concerning concerning who bears the guilt for this economic crisis, she uses incorrect and incomplete leading questions involving J. McCain’s voting record. Its clear she is attempting to bait Palin into a rookie mistake of blurting out an unsubstantiated retort “in defense of her man” one that ends up embarrassing the head of the ticket and creates media controversy. Palin declines the bait, telling Couric she must first substantiate the accuracy of her straw-man argument and then will get back with her to answer accordingly.

Unable to score a major political unraveling of the McCain/Palin ticket during her interview, K. Couric later stoops to purposely misquoting S. Palin in an attempt to bait McCain. With a leading question she implies accusation that McCain and Palin are using the scary language of the “Great Depression” simply to inure support for their perspective on the current economic crisis (such tactics, she scolds, are disingenuous and un-presidential. McCain, not privy to what Palin has or has not said in regard to her use of the word “Great Depression”, declines to traverse the road Couric has mined with explosive innuendo, politely reminding her that both parties have expressed concern over the seriousness of this economic crisis and the need to solve it quickly. The camera then shows McCain managing a polite smile while K. Couric remains gaunt, mouth held closed. Hardly the “Ms. Congeniality” she was in the presence of B. Obama.

Love the B-Cast!

Great story, loved it! Keep up the great work. Say NO to Obama in 2008! Obama has never seen a gun ban he didn’t like!

Congratulations, you are now DUMBER for watching…

The best chance you guys had at the White House was with Ron Paul, but you blew that one. So you choose a self-proclaimed “Maverick” who has voted with our twit Pres. Bush 90% of the time over the last eight years. What’s “maverick” about that?

READ THIS: Obama will let you keep your guns as long as you point them at dirt and animals, instead of human beings. THAT is where you’re missing the point, Republicans. There are people out there in our cities who use assault rifles to kill policemen, teachers, and people just like you. So by not setting up “roadblocks” to weed gun-toting criminals from the buying process, you endanger your family and your friends. I’d bet you’d be first in line to ban assault rifles if your child was murdered with one. The reality of death tends to open people’s eyes in this way; I hope you never have to experience it.

When Obama wins — and he will win, by a landslide — you’ll still have your precious guns, but you’ll never get back your self respect for buying this kind of FOX News garbage. Their coverage is blatantly biased, far from objective, and offensive to informed citizens. That has nothing to do with politics; it has everything to do with telling the truth.

Obama voted with McCain 86% of the time. ??

thevealchop…you shouldn’t be so transparent with your fear. If you’e so confident about an obama landslide…what do you care what we think and who we pick as our candidate?
obama is “just words,” and no action unless you count flip flopping as action.

brian   September 26th, 2008 - 9:35 am

beverly, Waffling and uncontrolled stuttering are also actions. And he is well versed at both of these. Especially when confronted, that is why the MSM doesn’t perform these actions. I mean come on they don’t want the “ONE” to sound like an idiot. They already feel sorry for him because his ears stick out past his shoulder blades.

Jeff   September 26th, 2008 - 10:28 am

while Bill Burton is an idiot…

Tucker Bounds is the biggest douchebag in the world and if I ever see him on the street I will beat him to a bloody pulp

AK   September 26th, 2008 - 12:53 pm

hey vealchop….Obama will “let me..?” Since when do the words ‘let ‘ or ‘allow’ apply to the Bill of Rights or the natural law that underlies that document? If you believe that you don’t deserve US citizenship. Canada awaits, moron.

Your waffle boy stutters in platiitudes but has not repudiated a single gun-hating belief from his past. His media bullies only underscore the fact by their Orwellian obfuscation.

If you don’t like military look-alike rifles, don’t buy one. But don’t blame your cultural inner city problems on me.

Carl   September 27th, 2008 - 6:45 pm

If you would all do some research, the overwhelming majority of police officers are AGAINST gun control. Check out the surverys done by the Police Marksman Magazine. Keep in mind that no gun has EVER killed an innocent person. It has ALWAYS been the criminal who kills police officers, teachers and innocent people. It is stupid anti-gunners who aid and abet crime and their friends the criminals. A gun is a tool that is used for taking wild game, defending our country, defending innocent lives and for target shooting. Rabid anti-gunners make an erroneous leap that guns, by themselves, are evil and kill. It is the intent in the heart of the person who holds the gun as to which way it will be used: for good or evil. The gun has no intent built into it. Every nation or city that has become an anti-gun bastion is in competition with the other anti-gun bastions for the title of Murder Capital of the USA. What’s really ignorant about anti-gunners is that they fail to understand that not too far in the future our nation will probably need every single gun that we can muster for the defense of our nation and homes. This comes directly from a person who is a combat veteran of the military and a law enforcement agency. When an anti-gun law is passed into effect, honest citizens lose and dirtbags gain more power. When the pictures are taken at the signing of the anti-gun laws, notice that only those people who are politically appointed like chiefs of police, the mayor and so on are smiling and present for the photo-op. The average beat cop or field cop won’t voluntarily be present because they know what is right and what it wrong. Anti-gunners are wrong, have always been wrong and will forever be wrong!!!
