September 2008: Biden Says ‘No Coal Plants Here in America’

September 2008: “No coal plants here in America! Build 'em, if they're gonna build 'em, over there [China] and make 'em clean because they're killing ya.” No sooner had the video surfaced then Republicans pointed out that Biden’s answer conflicted with Obama’s speech at the Democratic National Convention last month when he proclaimed his ticket’s support for clean coal development.

This clip needs to be played over and over again on television in Virgina, Pennsylvania, Illinois, Ohio, Kentucky etc..

Here is the REAL Joe Biden. Willing to throw away the future and security of this country to gather the votes of tree huggers and liberals.

That’s right! China is building coal fired power plants. And they will have the energy that their econonomy needs to succeed and grow, while ours withers away under the burden of heavy taxes.

Joe Biden is an idiot. From his “speaking with an Indian Accent Gaffe” to his “Clean Cut Gaffe” to his “Hall of Fame Gaffe” to his “FDR on TV Gaffe.” This guy should be selling used cars in Texas. He’s THAT slick.

Empty Head for VP   September 23rd, 2008 - 3:30 pm

Hey Joe, FDR is on TV.

idjk   September 23rd, 2008 - 3:31 pm

Wow! I guess we will have to shut down the coal fired power plant here outside Orlando,Fl.

Captain Smith   September 23rd, 2008 - 3:38 pm

Biden is proving himself worthy of rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic.

This guy is being a good team player and gaffing on purpose, on camera, so that Obomber has no choice but to drop him. He is taking one for the team. I kinda feel sorry for the guy.

Wait!…Is that a tear in my eye?!…no, I just have to sneeze.

One more instance where Obama’s going to have to school Joe on waiting before he opens his mouth. Funny. Maybe McCain’s not going to have to win the election. Biden’s going to help Obama lose it.

PaleRyder   September 23rd, 2008 - 5:43 pm

No coal,no new nuclear plants,no offshore oil..looks like the dem party has completely caved into soro’s goal of turning America into a third world toilet.New energy plan from nancy gives offshore drilling a 50 mile limit, its oil is closer in and it requires the bordering states to agree with the plan, knowing it will never happen. The dems are really looking out for the working class, just not the ones here..China maybe..thanks to soros.

E390   September 23rd, 2008 - 5:50 pm

No coal, No oil, No nuclear power. Free homes, Free healthcare, Free education. No cars, No horses (they fart after all and cause global warming). America’s future is a bike made for 15 people so it can be manned by illegal’s to pull products across country to the stores. 1 small step for the Dems forward, 1 massive leap back to the stone age for Americans. The mud huts of the Middle East will be the “NEW” Park Place on your Monopoly board.

MoreYikes!   September 23rd, 2008 - 6:24 pm

And you can add West Virginia to Pennsylvania and every other coal producing state’s voters to McCain’s side. The more they talk the more they lose.
Our use of coal and development of clean coal-using power plants etc would be the easiest, quickest answer to the oil crisis and certainly more practical that windmills proposed by T Boondoggle Pickens and inefficient solar stuff.

Thoughtful   September 23rd, 2008 - 6:29 pm

Biden is such a DORK! But gotta go with “crazy forrest”… This is the greatest country in the world, and these yo-yo’s (both sides) are the best we can do?

Jeez, did you see Biden’s hands all over that girl? Made my skin crawl.

Sounds like Pit Bull Biden has lost his teeth…and doesn’t do his homework!

Nice guy…but should retire! A bad judgment call by the Flim Flam Obamaman! And this is what some people call Presidential?

Johnny D   September 23rd, 2008 - 9:16 pm

Whoa!!! In response to the Biden bashing, the point was that current plants emit too much pollution. I think he meant pollution from today’s technology is unacceptable. He does not condone this design being constructed in America until, as Obama championed in a speech, clean coal technologies are implemented to generate cleaner power.

Dan, St. Louis USA   September 23rd, 2008 - 10:10 pm

I was just watching “FDR” speaking on “TV” in an “Indian” dialect, telling us we should not bail out “AIG.” While my “clean cut” running mate was dreaming about the “Hall of Fame” .

Mac-101   September 23rd, 2008 - 10:36 pm

The sad thing is the Demos will most likely win and the traitors will purposefully destroy us from within to establish the New World Order. Either way it’s walk to the NWO with Sen McCain or run to it with Sen Obama!

Eileen for McCain/Palin   November 2nd, 2008 - 9:06 pm

Guess what…Joey…we say “no” to everything and anything you and the “Messiah of Islam” propose…period…case closed…!

————————————–
The “Messiah of Islam” is not, not a Christian!

Louis Farrakhan the leader of the Nation of Islam…the radical…Jew hating…white hating…religion hiding behind “Christian” principles…knows that he is… a Muslim!

He proclaimed that he was a Muslim…not a Christian…when he said that
Barack Hussein Obama was the “Messiah” that the Nation of Islam was waiting for,
looking for…now he has arrived!

BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA IS A MUSLIM!

A CHRISTIAN WOULD NEVER BE HAILED AS THE ISLAMIC MESSIAH…NEVER…BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA IS A MUSLIM!

Old Fardt   November 2nd, 2008 - 9:33 pm

Coal is our most abundant and easiest to harvest natural resource. New technology that allows it to be clean burning will make the US energy independent for power generation for decades. It is essential to our growth as an industrial nation.

That is probably why the Marxists and communists and socialists running for office want to shut it down. The purpose is to disable the US economy and give the second and third world a chance to catch up – fat chance. They will never catch up due to the despotic leaders and socialist politics that suppress free enterprise in their countries.

Cuba is the shining example of total stagnation since the communist takeover in the 50’s. They still are a failed economy in spite of all the communist and socialist nations they trade with. Lack of trade with a free nation like the US has doomed them to miserable lives without freedom.

Mary   November 2nd, 2008 - 9:37 pm

And you Demoncrats make fun of Palin? How dare you? She runs rings around Obamanation and that idiot Biden…These are the two idiots you want running the country? God help us.

grik   November 2nd, 2008 - 9:52 pm

Why shouldnt we make fun of Palin. She is a character.

She makes fun of herself. Somehow she doesn’t seem like the kind of person that is going to sit and stew over people poking fun at her.

Lighten up.

Obama vows to bankrupt coal industry.

Cut and paste these links everywhere you can – MSM will not report this!

Get the word out…

Mary   November 2nd, 2008 - 9:56 pm

Just proof in point..You Demoncrats have no idea what your doing. You don’t have a clue who this guy is that your voting for…yet your going to vote for him because you don’t want a Republican. Just like the black people in Harlem..their voting for him because he’s black man, and like that one woman said” he’s going to take care of her mortgage and gas…..are you kidding me?

Bill Chicago   November 2nd, 2008 - 10:00 pm

There is nothing more pathetic than an Obama supporter.

“Well, he said that, but what he meant was..”.

Did any of you Obama\Biden sheep ever consider that if they need an interpreter to explain everything they say, they are not fit to hold office? When do we know what is really what they believe and what is open to personal interpretation?

I want a President, not a Rorschach Test.

moose shooter   November 2nd, 2008 - 10:35 pm

Obama campaign has deleted page on site related to his stand on cap & trade

http://www.barackobama.com/issues/pdf/EnvironmentFactSheet.pdf

http://www.businessandmedia.org/printer/2008/20080319133739.aspx

McCain’s cap-and-trade position is similar to both of his liberal potential adversaries. According to his campaign Web site, Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.) also supports “implementation of a market-based cap-and-trade system to reduce carbon emissions by the amount scientists say is necessary: 80 percent below 1990 levels by 2050.” Sen. Hillary Clinton (D-N.Y.) also has a climate plan “centered on a cap and trade system for carbon emissions.”

moose shooter   November 2nd, 2008 - 10:51 pm

BTW Obama campaign has wiped their site re environmental fact sheet stance on coal, surprise, surprise

edword   November 2nd, 2008 - 10:52 pm

Folks, an Obama win may be the best outcome.

Basically it is choosing a party that currently enjoys a 14% (congressional) approval rating.
Things will not go well. And no matter how hard the MSM tries, even the most foolish of fools will feel the effects and understand why.

It will be the Mother of All Enemas. Flush these turds away for good.

madrigal   November 2nd, 2008 - 11:09 pm

Sadly most voters will not hear of this because the MSM will have none of it.

An Obama win will be the culmination of a massive, unprecedented media manipulation effort. Had the MSM not intentionally repressed the facts regarding BO’s background and focused their attacks of McCain Palin, it would be an entirely different situation right now.

Don’t EVER forget this fact. THEY are choosing who wins this race, not you or I. Let them know by avoiding every product they and their parent companies provide, as well as their sponsors. They are stealing something sacred from you–your right to choose your leaders. This can never be forgotten nor forgiven, only punished until the playing field in leveled again. (and maybe not even after that)

USA   November 2nd, 2008 - 11:28 pm

Future Politicians will be forced to communicate directly to people through the Internet. Bypass the MSM. They’re making themselves obsolete.

BULLCRAP IS ALL THEY SPEW!   November 2nd, 2008 - 11:35 pm

Yeah, both parties are driving Americans NUTS with their endless bullsh1t!!

The inconsistencies between what Obama and Biden say are truly aggravating…

And what’s equally disturbing is the way that we have NO IDEA what Palin and McCain plan to do, should they win, because THEY’VE SPENT THE ENTIRE CAMPAIGN MUDSLINGING TOWARD OBAMA AND BIDEN and DODGING THE ISSUES!!

Neither of the Repub candidates has addressed the CRITICAL PROBLEMS confronting Americans… Is it because THEY HAVE NO PLATFORM AND NO PLANS FOR SOLVING ANY OF THE MESSES CONFRONTING US???

WHAT will they do about the hordes invading USA from the SOUTH (i.e., Mexico & Central & So. America??)???? WHAT will they do about the MARKET MELTDOWN??? WHAT will they do about our eroding CIVIL LIBERTIES? WHAT WILL THEY DO ABOUT ENDING THE WARS WE FIND OURSELVES EMBROILED IN?

WHAT??????

ANYBODY KNOW????? No, but we know WAY MORE THAN WE EVER WANTED TO KNOW ABOUT JOE THE PLUMBER!!!!

WHAT BULL-CRAP!

Clifton   November 3rd, 2008 - 12:19 am

Now that the coal industry has been slated by the Dems for destruction was it the intent of the Environmental laws so energetically pursued by the Dem as their prime motive to enact the laws to facilitate the destruction of all except the Dem anointed industries? What other industries are in the sights of the Dems and slated for destruction? Auto? Oil Industry? What other industries? The book “The Little Ice Age” should be required reading for all voters. Greenland without ice from 800 to approximately 1350 with Erick the Red traveling from Europe to Greenland in open boats. Scotland farming high into their mountains and wineries in England. Warm cyclical weather patterns not Global Warming that was followed by the “Little Ice Age” approx 1350 to 1850 or even 1900. The Dems have no clue about the calculus of a joule believing pontificating decrees equals science.

***The Obama Scoreboard**
It is terrible enough that soldiers have to make the ultimate sacrifice, but it has been especially galling to observe the Left’s practice of throwing the casualty scoreboard in our face. Nightline read every name one evening. Nightly news shows have flashed the numbers like MacDonalds advertises the number of burgers sold. Yes, the Left has marketed the death of our soldiers, even as the Murthas, Oabamas, Kerrys, and Kennedys have called them murderers and targeters of civilians.

So I if Obama is elected, I want the press to reset the clock. They should start an Obama casualty scoreboard, and I’ll tell you why. George Bush went to war in Iraq on a belief that we need to confront recalcitrant threats in a post-911 world. He has a belief in the relative value of our effort there. Obama won the Democratic nomination by running left of Hillary—often saying he would end the war immediately. Then he ran to the center.

I have to take Obama at his word—he believes we should be out immediately. I have heard the press attribute blood on Bush’s hands so often that I have to wonder aloud here: How could he let one soldier die if he meant what he said so passionately? If he is willing to turn away from what he self defined as his moral imperative on the war, won’t the numbers on his scoreboard be entirely in vain? Yes, it is disgusting to have to talk about our heroes in such a starkly political framework—but those of us who have supported the war have heard that every day. Now it is your turn, and your leader has no vision for victory—he never lets that word pass his lips. That said, even one death will be running up the score.

BTW, my newest tune is ‘Softball,’ my shot at media bias @www.conservativemusiconline.com
