No kidding! If you want a counter-weight to the N.Y. Slimes, try my politically confrontational music CD-’Blaming America First.’ The libs always do–and this cop struck back–in song (beginning with my new Sarah Palin song ‘North to Alaska).

Add, NBC, CBS, PBS, PMSNBC, to that list of ‘non-biased” “News” orginizations. I guess thats why Fox News keeps winning it’s time slots, fair and balanced. Fox at least tries to be.

Smegolicious   September 22nd, 2008 - 4:11 pm

If any news station gained 1 penny more telling you all the moon was made of cheese, they would.

Its TV, its entertainment, its not your fact channel, its not the gospel, its a TV show!

They don’t have an obligation to report facts, they have obligation to gain viewers for revenue.

The gas price is your news, your mortgage payments, your job, your insurance costs, your medical expenses, the education of our children, THAT is your news source.

Pay attention to the world around you as well as the entertainment/news channels UNLESS you can’t see through the lying tactics.

Jimbo   September 22nd, 2008 - 4:12 pm

Jesus, what a bunch of pussies! Want some cheese with that whine??? Quit crying and start trying! There have been a hell of a lot more mountains to climb for Obama than Palin! So shut up and learn to persevere as he has! Nice thing about this country is that if you don’t like what they write, you don’t have to read it! To me it’s no different than the “Fix” oops, …..I mean Fox network! I don’t believe any of their propaganda crap, so I choose not to watch it. I suggest you use your right to do the same. While you still have that right!

EdGe   September 22nd, 2008 - 4:25 pm

What in the hell do you think timetables means you elitist dope! Timetables for withdrawl. The NYT wants an EDITORIAL which is someone’s OPINION! Yet they don’t want Senator McCain’s. Talk about censoring free speech! The McCain Campaign should embarrass the NYT and buy an advertisement space including the CENSORED article. Unbelievable!

Cling_to_your_GUNS_and_RELIGION   September 22nd, 2008 - 4:25 pm

Load up folks!

DontTaseMeBro   September 22nd, 2008 - 4:33 pm

Jimbo -

Quit using the Lord’s name in vain unless you plan to call on HIm personally — which I recommend highly.

If you can’t see the bias at the New York Times or through most of the major news organizations than you are blind and/or stupid.

FoxNews is a right leaning news outlet and that is why they kick butt in the ratings — it is the only source for conservative viewpoints.

When I was in college there were five or more rock stations and only one urban station . The urban station lead in the ratings all the time — why? Not because everyone listen to them — in fact the overwhelming majority of students did not — but the urban station filled a demand like a niche product.

The difference with that analogy is that American is still more conservative than liberal but FoxNews is the only source for conservative viewpoints and their lead in the ratings (sometimes 2-to-1) is in direct correlation to the lack of conservative viewpoints found elsewhere.

You don’t see that? Get a clue and quit drinking the kool-aid if it isn’t too late.

Obama ain’t the messiah, he is a lightweight and he — as the presidential nominee — has not come close to the attacks and critiques as his Vice Presidential counterpart has endured. What are you liberals afraid of? You guys are scared to death of Palin?

I think that is hilarious!

Neal E   September 22nd, 2008 - 4:47 pm

Talk about whining….”You know, he’s not patriotic, he’s got a funny name, he doesn’t look like all those other presidents on the dollar bills.” whining and race baiting in one sentence!

Obama whines about things that never happened.

ILLEGAL_IMMIGRATION   September 22nd, 2008 - 4:55 pm

Which Presidential Nominee will ENFORCE our border security?

Or will America and Americans continue to see MASS ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION that will continue to DEVASTATE the country and its LEGAL AMERICAN CITIZENS?

yeah right!   September 22nd, 2008 - 4:55 pm

Geez, mccain has a bad week, slips a midge in the polls, and resorts to freak-out populism and desperate whining.

BAD_GUYS_ARE_WINNING   September 22nd, 2008 - 5:31 pm

What do you think?

Steve Adorno   September 22nd, 2008 - 6:03 pm

The NYT is full of lies. I never read it, never have and never will. Never could. Too many big words and complex ideas.

If they are going to lie about McCain, that’s just not fair. It’s not fair. It’s not fair. Thanks god there is Steve Schmidt to set things straight. Reporters asked him to back up his claims with evidence but he don’t need no steenkin evidence.

McCain was a POW and his Veep pick is a Governor and a Hockey Mom. Obama is a marxist elitist street thug radical and his Veep pick is from a state so small that George Washington crossed it in a boat so small that he had to stand up in it.

The American people will never stand being lied to. You can fool French surrender monkeys, Canadian hockey puckers, English mince pie tossers, German wiener schnitzers, Mexican bean jumpers, and all the rest of them foreigners but you cannot fool the American public.

It sounds like the republicans might be warming to the Fairness Doctrine.

Jason   September 22nd, 2008 - 6:30 pm

That’s rediculous, Liberals get free publicity ’cause they’re totally IN the media.

See more here, it’ll startle ya

DontTaseMeBro September 22nd, 2008 – 4:33 pm: What are you liberals afraid of? You guys are scared to death of Palin?

The reason she has Dems scared is because she is such a cynical choice for veep. She has a great personal story but not only does she have no experience with defense, foreign policy, international trade, economics, immigration or a host of other important national issues — she has no interest in them, no knowledge of them and no thoughts about them. Hiring someone like that to be a heartbeat or a melanoma away from the presidency would be like hiring a charming, talented, possibly even smart, charismatic winner of American Idol to perform brain surgery on your only child.

You might be stoked by having her at you child’s bedside, but you are not going to let her near that scaple no matter how much she agrees with you view on abortion, guns, and religion. Are you?

This country is facing huge problems right now. McCain my not be able to handle them, Obama may not, Biden may not, but as bad as the odds might be, why take more of a chance than you have to?

It is Palin’s lack of knowledge, her lack of engagement and her lack of interest that has not only thinking dems but serious conservatives such as George Will and Charles Krauthammer worried.

Her in-your-face mendacity is refreshing though; most politicians lie only when they think they won’t get caught.

If Conservatives are interested in winning an election at any price, they are backing the right person — although even Karl Rove thinks interest in her will dwindle. If they are interested in the fate of the country and what happens to them and their children and grandchildren, they should be as worried as the Dems and the serious Republicans.

Arjuna9   September 22nd, 2008 - 6:51 pm

Scott McClellan, Bush’s former press secretary, admitted that the Republican administration hands their “talking points” directly to Fox News, which acts as their propaganda machine. McClellan is the ONLY Republican who has had the integrity to tell the truth about the way Republicans do things. Thank God there are media outlets that are willing to give us something other than Republican propaganda.

yo1   September 22nd, 2008 - 7:15 pm

Grant – Palin has more experience than Obama. Palin has a record of real reform going after corrupt politicians on both sides of the isle in Alaska. What has Obama run before? (other than a campaign) Name on item of accomplishment for Obama.

I will tell you one thing Obama tried to run. Bill Ayres, yes domestic terrorist, Bill Ayres, hired Obama to run the Chicago Annenberg Challenge (CAC). The Annenberg Trust gave Ayres and Obama a $50M grant for the improvement of Chicago Public Schools. After a few years of complete and utter failure the Annenberg Trust had a major falling out with Obama for lack of reporting and a complete squandering of the money. The records of this debacle are at the University of Illinois Chicago and the reporting has been almost non-existent. Where is the mainstream media on this? Why would Ayres hire Obama? A: One Marxist wanted another Marxist

Hillary brought this up in a debate and what did Obama say: look Bill Ayres is a guy who lives in my neighborhood. Wow Obama misrepresented the truth and was not called out on it.

Obama attends a Black Liberation Theology church for 22 years and yet doesn’t know his pastor is a racist. Obama once again is full of BS.

The March at Selma got me born- Sorry Barack you were 4 during the march- Did the media call him out on that? That is worse than sniper fire if you ask me.

I want a fair and balanced press, it ensures our democracy, it is essential. I want all the corrupt bums out of Washington both sides of the aisle. The press is doing a great injustice to our nation most citizens would agree and I predict massive changes in the media forthcoming.

demdicks   September 22nd, 2008 - 7:47 pm

It is not good enough to just ignore blatant liberalism in media, we must let the advertising companies that avail revenue to them that we may decide to base future purchase decisions to your ad placements. I’m sure you can find out who advertises with them without actually having to watch/read the bilge.

maggiepoo   September 22nd, 2008 - 9:03 pm

I have never seen such hatered and deplorable antics come out of the Democratic Party. They used to use intelligence. What happened? None left? What the hell can we ask Obama, that he’s not saying: umm, ugh, well, scientifically, theoretically…ANSWER THE QUESTION!!! Lipstick on a donkey….still a jackass

Maggiepoo   September 22nd, 2008 - 9:21 pm

All I want is someone to tell me why I should vote for Obama rather than McCain. Obama can’t. He hasn’t told me anything. I know where McCain stands, what his convictions are. Where does Obama stand, what are his convictions…give me something to work with here. There’s nothing!!!!! The only convictions I see around Obama, concern his friends, and as far as I’m concerned, more of his friends should be convicted and in Jail: Dodd, Rev. Wright, his Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac buddies…the list goes on and on. We need to be cutting down on government. Obama isn’t the President, he has 300 foreign policy advisors..are you freakin kidding me. No experience..I give up.

Eileen   September 22nd, 2008 - 9:56 pm

You know, America, we don’t have to support these biased print organizations. We don’t have to support any TV or radio biased stations. Don’t watch them…don’t buy them…that is where their bottom line is…money!

We have the power to put them under! We have the power to put them out of business in a legal and effective way! Let’s do it!

I am sick and tired of all the press supporting this Socialist, the Flim Flam Obamaman, for President. We need to take back our country…cancel your papers…write to your TV/Radio stations and tell them you won’t support them anymore.

I do it with all the celebrities…everytime one of those airheads gives their opinion…I vow not to watch any of their work ever again! That will do it! When they fall off the edge of the world, and have to get a real job!

I am going to vote for President Elect McCain and Vice President Elect Palin. They are an honest and committed team for America. The “Maverick” and the “Reformer” will get the job done because they’ve done it before and put “country first”!

Tom   September 22nd, 2008 - 10:59 pm

Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity must be fair and balanced. I guess someone must be for Obama. He has the most to offer based on the shambles the economy is due to 8 years of George W Bush.

I am voting for Barack Obama and Joe Biden because we need a change from the Bush policies that have driven this country to the brink of bankrupcy and got us in a war that should have never been fought costing us thousands of lives and injuries and adding to the financial problems for all of us.

A Vietnam Veteran for Obama and Biden

katemcdonough   September 22nd, 2008 - 11:32 pm

The Rovians must be running scared. What’s that about attack ads against McCain? Full of lies. Oh no, Steve said unsubstantiated. And the Rovian ads against Obama? Slimy sludge.

Whinging lot all of them.

Kate
