I think Josh Howard expresses a view common amongst black Americans. I’m sure Barack Obama’s pastor, Rev. Jeremiah Wright, feels similarly. I’m sure Barack Obama has MUCH sympathy with this view as well; though, of course, he has to pretend otherwise. I don’t think he should be disciplined for expressing a political opinion. The Mavericks owner has done worse–e.g. funding a movie that slander American soldiers, providing our enemies with propaganda etc.

What is wrong with people? Josh Howard doesn’t believe in the Star Spangled Banner because he is black??? Excuse me but why in the world would someone live in a country they didn’t believe in—-Oh….yeah he loves the money in this country. As far as racism. If a particular race wants to do inappropriate things and then justify it by using the excuse of race, what are people supposed to think and say? Instead of making a particular race look bad, why not lead by example and why not make your race stand for something good? Black people have come along way- most are from America not Africa- why not be proud of the country you chose to succeed in? Josh Howard would be absolutely nothing in Africa. He would likley not be welcomed as whether he likes it or not he is an American, not an African. I really don’t understand at all. Blacks and whites are the USA. We should all be supporting each other and sticking together instead of sitting back acting like we belong somewhere else,while we are all becoming the minority here at home. Come on people.

I know many blacks. Most hold the same opinion that this is not their country, and when there are wars they are the most unpatriotic bunch you will ever know. This stuff is going to end up with segregation of blacks because they are simply impossible to deal with. Why have integration? They won’t snitch if they see a black attack you. They won’t convict the black that attacked you if sitting on a jury. I gave up on any dealings with them long ago(other than “good morning and hello”).This does not end well for blacks, most whites I know have terrible opinions of them.
