How about getting rid of all taxes and just have a national sales tax. Then you don’t get taxed for earning and saving, just buying. Tax would be exempt for clothing and non prepared food.
Then the tax burden falls evenly an all, which includes tourists and illegals. The more you spend, the more you pay. No more need to ‘work under the table’. No more loopholes or IRS or deductions and forms. Imagine looking at your paycheck and getting the gross amount and not the net.

If you are single and you work at Walmart part-time while living with Mom & Dad, you get a $500 tax cut. If you are married, don’t work, but collect welfare and can file a tax return, you get a $1000 rebate. If you are single and don’t work, you get a $500 tax rebate. If you are a married illegal alien and have illegally obtained a social security number, whether you work or not, and choose to file under that social security number, you will get a $1000 rebate.
So, you see there are a number of ways to receive your allotment.

We are both self-employed, have been in the same home for 21 years, sent all our children to college and always payed our bills on time.
We now have no retirement money left, pay over $1500.00 a month for medical not including dental & eye care, and a increase is on the way.
We get up and go to work each day and yet we can not afford to pay all our bills. The basic bills, house payment, lights etc.

And when he dies a year or two into office b/c he’s old, we’ll have Sarah Palin with her bachelor’s degree in communications running the country. That makes me feel even more secure. First off, you can say you are going to do a lot of things, but the core issue is, can you do them? What have you done in the past that proves you have ever been successful at anything, outside of self-promotion? I guess there is that Job Center Training Grant you got for the Gangster Disciples that allowed them to siphon off thousands of dollars in no-show jobs to buy better guns and larger quantities of drugs.
Second, Congress has been in the hands of the Democrats for 2 YEARS and they have done nothing. If all this pending economic doom was so obvious, where was Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi all this time? You did show up in the Senate, at least for 143 days, where was this amazing insight into the American Economic System then?

$1,000 is nice, but having a job would be nicer. You can get jobs to stay in America by lowering the corporate tax rate, but that’s not what Obama wants to do.
Powerful message, you may not like Barack for a number of reasons but when the phone rings six months, a year, two years from now, do you really think Mccain is undoubtedly going to be around to answer it? Putting your vote towards someone that is three years away from the average life span of a caucasian male is simply a wasted vote.
You want to talk about your tax dollars being used to support welfare? Well, what about these bailouts? CEO’s walk away with multimillion-dollar severence packages while the Feds, with our money and some they just decide to print, step up to save them. Many individuals who thought they were taking care of themselves and making informed decisions about their investments, are getting suckerpunched right now. It’s hard to keep your eye on all the balls.
Where was the oversight? Where is the regulation? Obama wants to reinstate it. McCain has a long history of voting for deregulation. The Joint Chief of Staff has said that the war in the Middle East can’t be won by killing machine. We must use diplomacy and education. I would say the same is true of the underprivileged and downtrodden in our own country. You don’t assist people by condemning them and throwing just enough money at them to sustain them. You give them hope, opportunity and tools to rise above their circumstances. They will become part of the greater good. As they say, a high tide raises all boats.
I would rather have uncertain hope than more of the insanity that has ripped this country a new one for the last eight years.
